No bachelor pad is complete without an aquarium and this is the place to get one. Good advice and they sell tanks as well as fish, and no aquarium is quite the same without fish in it. read more

It also looks small and I have to say a little run down from the outside. Step inside though and you'll find a decent range of cold water, tropical and marine fish as well as tanks, accessories and food. They have a range of 'own brand' foods which are much cheaper than the likes of King British and my fish at least seem to thrive on them. The fish are also reasonably priced. Although there are a few other fish shops much closer to home I often make my way to Rhyl Aquaria as it's by far the best in the area.

I rarely used to go there although since Erksine Aquatics closed down it's become the only shop selling tropical fish in town so I now call in from time to time. The best thing about this shop is that (unlike Pets At Home in Llandudno) there's no problem finding someone to serve you and the people working there are very knowledgeable. The downside is that because the shop is so small there's only a limited choice. Worth a look though.
