Called a few places but wanted so much money to come out on a weekend. Finally found Nature Coast Air. The man's name was James Soults. He was close by in Spring Hill and just a few minutes from my home. He offered to come out and take a look at my air conditioner. He responded to my home in about 30 minutes. Checked the unit out and did a thorough check. The unit was 11 years old and out of warranty. He went through everything with me and explained what he would recommend. No pressure at all from him. Gave me the estimate and gave me time time alone to decide. I decided to take the chance and so he installed a new fan motor and capacitor which got the unit working. Which will give me time to save for a new one. It's still cooling and I would call Nature Coast Air again if I needed someone reliable, fast response and knows the business and works weekends. They've saved me countless amounts of money over the years by finding creative solutions to repair and extend the life of older AC units rather than immediately telling me they need to be replaced. Obviously, eventually an old system reaches the point where replacement makes sense, but I appreciate a company that will tell me the truth and help me get the most reasonable life out of the equipment first. I frequently request Pablo, who has been with Kelly's for many years. He's extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and has always taken the time to explain what's going on and what my options are. It's also nice seeing the same experienced technician year after year instead of never knowing who is going to show up. Nick is awesome to deal with as well, and my most recent experience really drove that home. At around 5:00 PM, tenants at one of my properties contacted me to say their AC wasn't cooling. This is Florida, so a house without AC can become miserable pretty quickly. I called Kelly's expecting that, at best, I might be able to get them squeezed onto the schedule sometime the next day. Nick surprised me by saying he could have someone at the property in about an hour. That kind of service is hard to find. My tenants were extremely grateful that they weren't going to have to endure a sweltering night without AC, and as a landlord, being able to make one phone call and know the problem is going to be handled is worth a tremendous amount. After years of dealing with Kelly's, I can confidently say they've consistently been honest, fair, knowledgeable, and responsive. They don't try to turn every service call into a sales opportunity, and they genuinely seem interested in finding the best solution for the customer.
