It really wasn't bad, but I'm not going to go out of my way to go there. Very chill on a Wednesday night at 5:30pm (this was however the night before thanksgiving, so that might have effected it). They have a happy hour with some decent prices on select food and a dollar off beers. French fries were very solid. Good and crispy and thin. 5 star fries. Wings were decent. I like mine a little spicier, but they did have an interesting smokey flavor that was nice. And I know this is going to sound weird, but the carrots that were served with them were really good. This DOES matter. I was underwhelmed with the mushroom and goat cheese pizza. Too much goat cheese, not enough of the other flavors coming through. It was a good size though. Good for sharing with one person. Kids chicken tender meal was big for a kids meal. The chicken tenders were clearly freshly breaded in house - which in general would be a real good thing - but I think might have been a bit off-putting for my kids. But hey they have a kid's menu so that's a plus. I got their house IPA which was solid. I remember the beer they used to make when it was "Seabright Brewery" was not very good, so it's nice to see an improvement in the beer area. They also had taps from many very reputable local breweries. They have some games to play too, and some creative seating, so very family friendly relaxed environment.

Like other reviewers have stated ad nauseam, this place has been hit or miss over the years. But my mom and I stopped by the day after Thanksgiving for a late afternoon/early evening Noah and were both pleasantly surprised and satisfied with our meals. Our server was Coral, who was quite friendly and attentive to our needs. I ordered the turkey and Brie sandwich, and my mom got the smash burger; we shared the a la carte basket of fries, which were perfectly crispy and addictive. We both finished our meals, no leftovers! Of course the ambience here is lovely as usual, especially on a sunny November day. Kids and pups are always welcome, too. Would definitely come back again next time I'm in the area! If you haven't been in awhile, give it another chance :)

Food was delicious I ordered the brisket melt. There were a lot of items I would like to try. Just like other people have commented I felt like for $19 it should have come with a side

Came here with my family around 5pm on a Friday. The staff were nice and friendly. The food was delicious! I got the fried chicken sandwich and added hot honey. It was one of the best I've ever had! I also got a cherry cola that really good. My family ordered a smash burger and a brisket burger. We all loved the food and vibes of this place. I'm really bummed that they will be closing soon

Like many other reviewers, we used to go to Seabright Brewery pretty often when we visited Santa Cruz. Sometimes we came over the hill just for the salmon fish and chips. After the change in owners, though, like many others on Yelp, we visited once and never went back. (That visit was in June 2020.) Then we saw a news article last weekend that there is a new menu and we were already going to be in Seabright, so we decided to give it a chance. We sat outside in the gorgeous weather and remembered how awesome the patio is there. Here are some observations: Beer menu is great - they have local guest taps from the popular breweries in the area as well as a couple of their own taps. Beer price was reasonable. Beer was served quickly and was cold. Food menu itself is fine. No, they didn't bring back the panko-breaded salmon fish and chips that literally everyone on Yelp misses. Very few if any veg options. (You can sub a mushroom for meat on sandwiches, but no beyond burger or veggie patties.) I had the fish sandwich and the batter was really good. Very crispy breading, good-sized piece of fish, toasty bun. Could've used about a half cup more coleslaw on it - was a little dry - and could've used some salt in the coleslaw. Sandwiches are a la carte, so if you want fries, that's another $8 on top of the $16 sandwich. My husband's brisket patty melt was $18. We shared a sweet potato fry and those were delicious. Patty melt was good and not too messy or gigantic (though for $18, maybe it should've been more gigantic). It seems like they are struggling to have enough staff as there was only one server and the owner was running around filling waters for people. But I'd go back, if only for the patio and beer. Maybe I'll try a salad next time. I'll forever mourn the loss of the salmon fish and chips, though. #bringitback

Good beer and wine selection, great relaxed food, and Oliver loves the pup friendly patio. The Pup Patty ! Also the Smash Burger and fried chicken sandwich are solid.

Had the chimichurri steak frites. The biggest potato wedges ever! And actually, probably too big. But still tasty. And the steak was yummy too.

Ambience - did a nice job of trying to camouflage the street noise by using a water feature. The patio chairs could use cushions, your bottom becomes a waffle, uncomfortable Food - mixed reviews from our table. Bangers and mash and the tri fries were enjoyed. But the fried chicken sandwich was a little too crispy and street dog had condiments that weren't complimentary Drinks- highlight was the pint glass of mimosas Overall, for a casual sunny afternoon for a drink , I would try it out.

This place is a perfect spot for a casual night out with friends or a family dinner. The menu is predominantly American with a focus on burgers and sandwiches. We've been here a couple times and last time we got a burger , which was very juicy with just the right amount of seasoning. This time around we got a brisket sandwich, which was also a delight, the meat was very tender and melted in my mouth. However, the BBQ ribs were a bit of a letdown as they were a little dry but I still enjoyed them. Our server was super nice and attentive. Both times we were here, service was great. One of the things that I loved about this place was the atmosphere. The patio area is very cozy and laid-back, with outdoor lights, heat lamps, and fireplaces, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a long day. Another added advantage is the parking area, and there is plenty of parking available in the neighborhood, making it easy to get to and from the pub.

Love the food here, new chef in the house. Ashley (waitress ) gives excellent service. Good outdoor dining, pet always welcome here. And, kids too. They have great TV inside where you can watch sports. Friendly staff.

After seeing the picture and description of a new menu, especially deconstructed wedge salad and cajun shrimp and grits on a local Lookout review, we decided to give them another try (not formerly over impressed.) Shrimp and grits were spot on, but the wedge salad was nothing like advertised in the article or on their menu. Barely a basic wedge, just a couple wedges of iceberg, some old bacon bits, a bit of blue cheese and dressing. Not deconstructed, no tomatoes or nuts. Disappointing. I would have inquired to the waiter, but he didn't come to see how everything was until we were basically done. It was a slow Tuesday afternoon, and he appeared to be the only one around, but still...

The meat and vegetables were hot and flavorful, though the mashed potatoes scooped on top like ice cream had an unusual presentation. What bothered me was the service and the surprise charges. The restaurant seemed understaffed and service was slow, although it was busy and we were patient. We asked if one of the TVs could be changed to a World Cup match and were told it couldn't be done. Later, another TV far from us was changed to the World Cup game, which made that response confusing and frustrating. I was also surprised to find an automatic 18% gratuity added to our bill. We were a family of five, which I would not consider a large group, and we were not informed of the charge in advance. The menu referenced an automatic gratuity for groups of six or more, which did not apply to us. I normally tip at least 20%, so this wasn't about the amount--it was about transparency. Overall, the food was okay, but the service and unexpected charge left me with a negative impression. I won't be returning.
