This is our second time here and we chose this place because they're very dog friendly. The wait time was not long for our party of 8. We were seated outdoor and it was great, very relaxing. Our server Joey was very attentive and was also very friendly. Most of us ordered the smash burger and it was so juicy and delicious. I think the price was reasonable, around $16 for the burger. They have a kids meal and the serving was big, they also have a dog menu of burger or bacon for our fur baby. The furrie friend meal was only $5-6 Their appetizer Tri Fry which consisted of onion rings, potato fries and sweet potato fries was also very delicious and the serving is big. Parking was not a problem because they have a big parking area in the back.

Like other reviewers have stated ad nauseam, this place has been hit or miss over the years. But my mom and I stopped by the day after Thanksgiving for a late afternoon/early evening Noah and were both pleasantly surprised and satisfied with our meals. Our server was Coral, who was quite friendly and attentive to our needs. I ordered the turkey and Brie sandwich, and my mom got the smash burger; we shared the a la carte basket of fries, which were perfectly crispy and addictive. We both finished our meals, no leftovers! Of course the ambience here is lovely as usual, especially on a sunny November day. Kids and pups are always welcome, too. Would definitely come back again next time I'm in the area! If you haven't been in awhile, give it another chance :)

Food was delicious I ordered the brisket melt. There were a lot of items I would like to try. Just like other people have commented I felt like for $19 it should have come with a side

Came here with my family around 5pm on a Friday. The staff were nice and friendly. The food was delicious! I got the fried chicken sandwich and added hot honey. It was one of the best I've ever had! I also got a cherry cola that really good. My family ordered a smash burger and a brisket burger. We all loved the food and vibes of this place. I'm really bummed that they will be closing soon

Like many other reviewers, we used to go to Seabright Brewery pretty often when we visited Santa Cruz. Sometimes we came over the hill just for the salmon fish and chips. After the change in owners, though, like many others on Yelp, we visited once and never went back. (That visit was in June 2020.) Then we saw a news article last weekend that there is a new menu and we were already going to be in Seabright, so we decided to give it a chance. We sat outside in the gorgeous weather and remembered how awesome the patio is there. Here are some observations: Beer menu is great - they have local guest taps from the popular breweries in the area as well as a couple of their own taps. Beer price was reasonable. Beer was served quickly and was cold. Food menu itself is fine. No, they didn't bring back the panko-breaded salmon fish and chips that literally everyone on Yelp misses. Very few if any veg options. (You can sub a mushroom for meat on sandwiches, but no beyond burger or veggie patties.) I had the fish sandwich and the batter was really good. Very crispy breading, good-sized piece of fish, toasty bun. Could've used about a half cup more coleslaw on it - was a little dry - and could've used some salt in the coleslaw. Sandwiches are a la carte, so if you want fries, that's another $8 on top of the $16 sandwich. My husband's brisket patty melt was $18. We shared a sweet potato fry and those were delicious. Patty melt was good and not too messy or gigantic (though for $18, maybe it should've been more gigantic). It seems like they are struggling to have enough staff as there was only one server and the owner was running around filling waters for people. But I'd go back, if only for the patio and beer. Maybe I'll try a salad next time. I'll forever mourn the loss of the salmon fish and chips, though. #bringitback

Good beer and wine selection, great relaxed food, and Oliver loves the pup friendly patio. The Pup Patty ! Also the Smash Burger and fried chicken sandwich are solid.

Had the chimichurri steak frites. The biggest potato wedges ever! And actually, probably too big. But still tasty. And the steak was yummy too.

This restaurant has so much potential but the service is way too slow and the food is served cold. They have a decent sized outdoor patio that is dog friendly which was why we went. Most of the tables had dogs so make sure yours is okay to be around other animals. The food was flavorful but everything ordered was cold by the time it was served to us. We ordered the calamari, spicy chicken sandwich and the smoked brisket sandwich. Our server also hardly came around. It took way too long to order, get our drinks and to get the bill/pay. We waited so long we finally got up from the table to find the server so we could pay and leave. The table next to us had to do the same thing.

Ambience - did a nice job of trying to camouflage the street noise by using a water feature. The patio chairs could use cushions, your bottom becomes a waffle, uncomfortable Food - mixed reviews from our table. Bangers and mash and the tri fries were enjoyed. But the fried chicken sandwich was a little too crispy and street dog had condiments that weren't complimentary Drinks- highlight was the pint glass of mimosas Overall, for a casual sunny afternoon for a drink , I would try it out.

This place is a perfect spot for a casual night out with friends or a family dinner. The menu is predominantly American with a focus on burgers and sandwiches. We've been here a couple times and last time we got a burger , which was very juicy with just the right amount of seasoning. This time around we got a brisket sandwich, which was also a delight, the meat was very tender and melted in my mouth. However, the BBQ ribs were a bit of a letdown as they were a little dry but I still enjoyed them. Our server was super nice and attentive. Both times we were here, service was great. One of the things that I loved about this place was the atmosphere. The patio area is very cozy and laid-back, with outdoor lights, heat lamps, and fireplaces, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a long day. Another added advantage is the parking area, and there is plenty of parking available in the neighborhood, making it easy to get to and from the pub.

Love the food here, new chef in the house. Ashley (waitress ) gives excellent service. Good outdoor dining, pet always welcome here. And, kids too. They have great TV inside where you can watch sports. Friendly staff.

I can see the light at Seabright! I highly recommend the street taco duo! House-made tortillas, a generous portion of fresh snapper complimented by a garlic aioli sauce. I washed it down with a Blur IPA. They're a little busy, but it's worth the wait. Shout out to Kayla for the suggestions! Looking forward to trying the turkey club (also popular)

I actually dont know if they are doing that and franky don't care because I could not detect it (and I can usually tell being that I'm a bread baker). They do brew their own beers but not at this location. This is a very casual space with a few tables out on their side and a very airy space inside. It shares the space with modern pizza business 'Bookie's'. I think the pics and reviews cross each other's Yelp pages, but I'm sure each business is ran by it's own people. But you do order anything through one central register/POS system, whether food or beer. I only had a short beer sampling here as I just couldn't pass up another opportunity of just driving past. Had plans for dinner later in the day so I didn't get to try Bookie's pizza, but there will be plans to return. The pizzas to be had here are not your conventional pizzas Americans associate with. They amusingly describe their pizzas as "unauthentic Detroit style". Lol. I saw a few go out and they are pricey ($30ish) for what seems like a size that 2 could split with zero leftovers. But they also elevate their ingredients like a mushroom and nettle version and another with Nduja, pineapple and anchovy, not for rigid unadventurous palates. But Sante Adairius brews some interesting brews. They do many in Belgium fashion but with Cali sensibilities. Saisons and sours many are aged in wooden barrels. I didn't try any of those...yet. They also do well made Cali-style heavily hopped brews. I did try a West Coast IPA and a Rustic Pils and was very satisfied. They were both very clean and true to style. I also loved how they offer a smaller glass as to make sampling more conducive. Think $9 for a full glass and $5 for the smaller glass which seemed bigger than most other places 'sampler' size. I just found out on their website that they have a tap room (different name) in Oakland, so I do have a closer outlet for me to try more of their brews. But this one in Santa Cruz is so chill and unique that next time I'm in town, I wouldn't hesitate in stopping by again.

For drinks, we both got hot Green Tea to warm up, which was very standard - served in pre-packed tea bags. For food, we ordered the Okonomiyaki Fries and Maitake Mushroom Flatbread to share. The Okonomiyaki Fries were pretty good and I enjoyed all the toppings, especially the spicy pink mayo. I usually prefer thinner fries, but I liked the crispy texture. However, the Maitake Mushroom Flatbread was a bit disappointing. There just wasn't enough bechamel and mozzarella on top and the flavor somewhat bland. Service was friendly, but I miss their old menu offerings, like the Heirloom Tomato Flatbread. Not a huge fan of the rebrand!
