I would recommend the Seabrook Apple Market to anyone!! It has the warm, family oriented, small town ambience, cultivated to draw in neighbors, resulting in family. Chris, the manager, is a hands on leader, never hesitating to help run a register, sack your purchases, and/or help you to your vehicle when your transaction is complete. It's rare to see any employee without a smile or a friendly greeting. If you have shopped there a couple of times or more, its a good chance someone will remember your name. The merchandise has a good variety, and their prices are competitive with most other retail grocers. If you ask for something, you can bet that they will go out of their way to fill that request. Ideal! Uncluttered traditional grocery market. Great variety! Clean store, just the natural scent of the products they carry. None of that overbearing perfumed air so many stores have. The prices are often better than Walmart. They still will bag and take your load to your car regardless of ability(try getting that at Walmart). True customer service and courtesy! And asking for paper bags never appears to be a hassle, as some stores cause one to feel. The quietness is also very much appreciated! Too many stores have overwhelmingly loud music, as if shopping in a disco. The sales around holidays are usually pretty good. read more

This is a small but well stocked local grocery that still serves the needs of clients not wanting to fight the masses in chain grocery stores. Most prices are at least slightly higher, but they do stock things that larger places don't have. Their meat selection is top rate and their prices are competive to the point that here is where in general I get my meat items. The produce is a match generally to the larger stores as well. Friendly staff, old school grocery atmosphere you grew up with (if you're in the dinosaur category) and close enough so that you don't have to drive across town--there you have it not perfect, but not bad! read more

Well, Apple Market is a grocery store located where the last Falley's was located, at the corner of 21st and Gage. The store is quite small and aisles are narrow. You can expect to pay more here than Wal-Mart, although prices are similar to Hy-Vee or Dillons. Sale ads are competitive with other places though. They get their stuff from Associated Grocers, same as Price Chopper. There aren't too many smaller stores in this town, mostly just Wal-Mart and Dillons. This place mostly draws from the local neighborhood. Normally, I would give this place a 3, but they get an extra point for being the only place that sells bacon in 10lb boxes and I found, most recently, they sell Hot Nuts too. Friendly employees and helpful, too. We bought some tickets at the courtesy booth for an upcoming event. This store seemed cleaner and better organized than it was a few years ago. The staff and managers are always (and I mean ALWAYS) bending over backwards to help. Seabrook Apple Market has quality fresh meat and produce and the store is impeccably clean and neat. This store is a bit smaller and more manageable and prices are competitive. read more

I have found out that this store is currently not honoring the sales it has already put into effect because of COVID-19. They still have all of the items in stock, and they have put a limit that customers are able to purchase of other items in the store. The only reason for them not to honor the prices in their ads and on their website is because of greed. Were it for fear of contamination, no items in the store would be sold, as there's no magical barrier keeping items not listed in those ads from being contaminated. Plus, you can still buy those items in the ads, you just have to pay full price for them. Surely they are already doing better than average with the increased demand as people stock up, but instead of seeing this as an opportunity to serve the community in a time of need, they see this as an opportunity to bilk their customers out of every penny possible and take advantage of people's fear and uncertainty. I have shopped there numerous times through the years, spending who knows how much money at the store, but I shall purposely ensure I do so no longer. I shall not support a store without principles or conviction, and encourage any who have frequented the store to follow suit and boycott them in response for their shameless behavior. read more

While this is not a store I go to frequently, on both occasions, when I got home, I discovered I HAD NOT been given the reduced price posted in the fruit/vegetable section. This morning, I purchased 5 avocados at 10 for a $10.00. I just discovered I was charged at 2 for $3.00 which is $1.50 each! The sign said nothing about having to purchase 10 of them to get the discount. So, BE AWARE of how they advertise their specials. I've never been in a store that did not honor the discount in this way! read more

There are items that Apple Market sell that you can not get in another grocery store in town. Their prices may be about the same on most items but they have an excellent $1 section and the have GREAT sales. read more
