Come and walk the well manicured neighborhood, play some games at the arcade, and eat at one of several great restaurant options. You want it, Seabrook has it! We've visited Seabrook six times over the years, but unfortunately this will be our last. The main reason we booked this trip was because my daughter's only request was a rental with a hot tub. I specifically used Seabrook's website filters to search for homes that were available on our dates and included a hot tub. When we checked in today, we were surprised to find there wasn't one. I immediately called Guest Services, expecting they would help resolve what appeared to be a booking or website error. Instead, I was essentially blamed for the mistake. I explained exactly how I had searched for the property, but the representative, who identified himself as Tylor, said that without proof there was nothing he could do. I work in marketing and sales, so I understand that websites and booking systems can occasionally have errors. What disappointed me most wasn't the mistake--it was the complete lack of effort to make it right. When guests are paying premium prices, customer service should focus on finding a solution, not assigning blame. To make matters worse, Tylor told me there were no other homes available with hot tubs, so moving us wasn't an option. Out of curiosity, I checked Seabrook's website myself while on the phone and found several available homes that listed hot tubs. Whether that was another website error or inaccurate information from Guest Services, I don't know. Either way, it only added to the frustration. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told that Tylor was the supervisor. We've always enjoyed Seabrook, but this experience completely changed our perception. Mistakes happen. Great customer service is measured by how a company responds when they do. Unfortunately, Seabrook failed us on both the booking experience and the customer service, and they've lost our family's business. read more

I booked 3 nights at Bigfoot for our group and one dog. It was a very nice and clean house. The kitchen was well stocked. There were extra blankets and pillows. The location was great. It's only a 5 minute walk to Fresh Foods Market. I was pleasantly surprised by what the store stocked. It's not your typical resort store. The backdoor of the house leads to a grassy area so it was easy to take the leashed dog to go potty without having to walk aways. The hot tub was an added bonus. It's located directly to the left of the front door. You have to step down from the front porch into the hot tub. Luckily there were shrubs planted in front of the hot tub for privacy. The one drawback is the house is located on a very narrow street. We had 3 cars so 2 cars had to park on the street around the corner, which was too far. We went into the Salty Dog. We bought a couple of items. The prices were consistent with the pet stores in Seattle. We also visited the Vista Bakeshop every day that we were there for coffee and pastries. Yum! The grounds are impeccable - no garbage or debris laying around. Nice walking trails. Seabrook is situated on the bluff overlooking the ocean. It's a hike down to the beach and back up to Seabrook. The location is beautiful. We all would like to go back next year to Seabrook. read more

It's hard not to walk through the town square of Seabrook and not think that you've somehow been transported into Stepford, Connecticut, but fortunately the people who live and work here aren't anything like the wooden or robotic women of that fictional town. Far from it, in fact: everyone we interacted with, from toy store to tavern, was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and warm...which is more than can be said about the weather! Being situated on the central Washington coast, Seabrook is rarely ever going to be a balmy, tropical paradise (well, unless climate change performs some miracles later this century), but it is still something that has to be seen to be believed: picture-perfect village springing up out of the ground, virtually in the middle of nowhere, manifesting only due to the will and diligence of a single, hard-working couple, the Roloffs. Without their vision, Seabrook would literally not exist. Something like 80% of the houses in the village are rentals, so the actual population of Seabrook is pretty small. But for those who have chosen to call it home, Seabrook is as close to idyllic as one can imagine a town could be. Over the last 20 years, it has expanded to include additional neighborhoods, two public swimming pools, a Montessori school, multiple shops, boutiques, restaurants, taverns, an arcade, a fantastic local market, and more that I am sure I am forgetting. There are also miles of walkable trails, many of them forested and, of course, that amazing beach, with its always-accessible view from anywhere in town square. It's clean. It's safe. It's the American Dream as pictured on a postcard. It's Seabrook. And there's nothing like it anywhere. read more

We needed a vacation. Seabrook was beautiful, well-priced & dog friendly. We loved the walkable layout & the beach. But the attention to detail wasn't quite up to the level one would expect. No welcome package in unit like at Suncadia...the day we arrived it was raining heavily & still we had to stop by the front office. Every other place of this kind...would just text the door access code. Then the map & signage weren't very clear so we never did find the dog park though we walked everywhere. Additionally, the restaurants & stores are seriously limited. It's a beach town with no fresh seafood?! The market was the exception as it was well stocked & offered a nice variety. The two other gems were the Spa...best massage we've had in awhile and the Stowaway Wine Bar...wonderful atmosphere, diverse wine selection & yummy bites. We agreed we would return but would select a different unit as we'd plan to cook a lot more & would prefer a nicer kitchen. Also, it would be pretty boring if there was inclement weather. I would love to see a wider offering of diverse restaurants & shops. Also, the check-in process should be modernized with a touch more hospitality. Lastly, I think it's a great place to get away from it all & enjoy some downtime. Good for mellow dog owners or young families...more adventurous folks might find the pace a bit too slow. We did a day trip to see Seabrook. We went several years ago. Boy, has it changed. The town is very clean, with several restaurants and a beautiful beach. We shopped at the market. Took some amazing picture of the sunny, amazing beach. They have several shopping stores as well. It has some cute white bench to sit on around the town. The trail to the beach is not for everyone, but it is so pretty. Beach below were a few volleyball nets. I didn't see any cars on the beach, and access is not from those in wheelchairs or strollers. I can only advise of the main entrance only, but I'd see other locations to walk down the stairs to the beach. Rental cottages and houses along the trail and walk were so adorable. Everyone was friendly, including restaurant and store staff. The road to the stairs to the walk down to the beach has a cross walk with lights and flags to cross safely. The large chair in picture is located near the crosswalk. Warm sunny PNW day makes the experience unforgettable. Can't wait to go back. read more

Seabrook never disappoints! The house we chose had an amazing view of the ocean and enough space for our large family to spread out. The coffee shop was a lifesaver and the market had the things we forgot. We were almost completely alone on the beach for sunset...absolutely perfect! read more

As a Seattle resident, I have visited Seabrook since 2023. My first two stays were amazing with my dog at Whispering Sands and A Stones Throw. The homes were well kept and there were no defects with amazing location. My last two stays have been nothing short of disappointment. The Little Pearl is perfect in size and location, but the fire alarm went off during a shower and it was not at all well kept. My most recent stay at The Deck House was very expensive as it was dog friendly and included hot tub/fire place. Unfortunately, this house left no instructions on anything and the fire place didn't work. Additionally, the hot tub never got hot even after waiting an hour and I was not able to enjoy it. The washing machine was also broken but I was notified before my arrival that it was fixed. Luckily, the small public hot tub / pool is very close by and this house is great on location. Over the years, the quality has continued to decline. Guest services now require guests to go in person to check in unless you arrive past 6p then they just email you the code, ironically, you can't check in until 4p. Most recently, the drive with traffic even leaving the city around 12p on a Friday was 3.5 hours, and the drive to cannon beach is about 4 hours. Moving forward, based on my experience, I likely won't ever return to Seabrook and will continue to frequent Cannon Beach instead with consideration of price, drive, hospitality, and restaurant options. read more

We had a nice stay at Seabrook. We beat the summer rush by a bit (after Memorial Day, but before end of school year), so it was pretty quiet. Things seemed to be set-up pretty well in our cottage. There were some rough edges, but nothing outrageous. It's very nice for walking, especially with our dog. Do be aware that it is a bit of hike down to the beach, but that is a good thing in the case of a tsunami. Our biggest problem and the reason for the lower rating is the billing. When I got our credit card bill, I could see that nothing was categorized as travel, like a hotel or house rental. We get higher cash back for that, so I could see it was wrong. When I called about this, they said they could pass this on to the billing department, but couldn't connect me to them. The billing department would call me if they wanted to. When I called a week later, they said that the billing department chose not to call, and claimed they couldn't change the category. The bank said that is totally up to the vendor. My problem isn't so much that we lost our 3% cash back, but that they don't seem the slightest bit interested in fixing the problem, which they could if they cared. This really pissed off my wife, and we are going to Cannon Beach next time, which has more amenities anyway. Update: We tried to mail Seabrook to express our displeasure. Twice the letter has been returned to sender. We have tried to find an address to send them something, and nothing seems to work. They really are not interested in feedback. The fact that there is no response here is further proof. Overall, this is causing me to lower our rating. read more

Just spent 3 great days at Seabrook. Weather happened to be wonderful but even without that we loved our house and the surrounding areas. So many little parks/common spaces. Lots of fun walks. Used to come here several times a year, but with the resort fees and cleaning fees equal to 25-30% of the total cost, its becoming too expensive overall. $2000 for a few days turns into $3000 after cleaning and resort fees. No thanks. They are likely inflating since many use other rental sites who also charge outrageous amounts and if people are willing to pay, so be it. Another cute town taken over by greed. read more
