If I could give Seacrest Optical a rating more than 5 stars I would! This is the best optical store with the highest professional service, personal care, and knowledgeable staff I have ever received. I was visiting from out of town, and needed new lenses for my glasses, and they couldn't have been more helpful. They immediately called my optometrist in Chicago, obtained my prescription, and made my new lenses in a matter of days, at a very reasonable price. They called me as promised the moment my lenses were ready. My new lenses are not only less expensive, but of higher quality, thinner, and I can see much clearer. What a pleasant experience to deal with professional people who do exactly what they promise. Seacrest is a great store to buy eye ware in. The selection of eyeglass frames is outstanding and unique. Sandy Schainkin-Scott who is both a licensed optician and the owner, helped me select 2 fabulous frames and I made up a pair of sunglasses and a pair of beautiful everyday glasses. She was really great in helping me since she has a great eye in knowing which frames really fit your face. Choosing the right glasses for your look is not an easy thing to do. Having someone with an honest opinion about what looks good on you is very helpful. I would highly recommend going to Seacrest when you're ready for new glasses. Even in front on other customers. Would not advise anyone to go here. If you don't agree with him he becomes an argumentative arrogant man! Seacrest Optical was a golden find for me. I recently relocated to Florida and was worried about finding an excellent optical store/optician. Sandy, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable. I have a very unique eye situation, and she grasped my issues immediately. Sandy even went so far to contact my old optical place in Ohio, so they could compare notes. I had to get new glasses as soon as I moved to Florida. The store has a wonderful selection of frames, and they made up my difficult prescription perfectly. Sandy even ordered my sunclips from the company my old optical place uses. Sandy and Michael adjust my glasses with precision -- I am extremely sensitive to the smallest imperfection. They are always happy to see me walk in for a quick adjustment. My husband also got a new pair of glasses, and is very happy. One of the hardest things about moving to Florida was leaving my old optical store. But I have found that I have every confidence in Seacrest Optical. They have made my move seamless.
