I've had the "family set" on many occasions, as this is my aunt's go to dish for our family potlucks. The seafood is fresh and cooked to perfection, and my aunt always orders it with garlic pepper sauce and gets a side of the Cajun sauce extra spicy. Both sauces taste great! I dined in with my son for the first time last week. We were immediately greeted, seated and given menus. Servers were nice and attentive. My son chose the lobster roll (warm) which came with coleslaw and a generous serving of fries. I opted for the clam linguine. The pasta dish was served piping hot, and they did not skimp on the clams! Both dishes were delicious & satisfied our seafood cravings. I think it's a much better deal to order a family set (which is enough food to feed waaaay more people!) than to order individual entrees. read more

I had been wanting to try this restaurant since yelp voted it in the top 20 seafood restaurants in the U.S. My friend and I went today and we both loved our meals. The clam chowder was absolutely amazing. The service was also fantastic. Our waitress took the time to explain the menu, and recommend certain items since we hadn't been there before. I highly recommend trying it, you won't be disappointed. Oh, and it was also reasonably priced, a huge plus! read more

My boyfriend and I were craving crawfish boil and after our usual spot wasn't picking up the phone, we called this place to see if we could place a pick up order. We got the Family Set (39.95$) that comes with shrimp and 2 choices between mussels, clams, and crawfish. Not the biggest fans of mussels or clams, so we asked if we could 2x the crawfish and they said it was fine. Got there about 35 min after placing the order around 6:45 pm and the place was pretty packed! Not a lot of seating and there were families waiting for a spot in the restaurant. There seemed to be only one lady handling the whole restaurant's orders and such, so we waited patiently until she had time to check in with us. Handed us a giant silver platter and we made sure to ask for a table cover since we were going to be eating at home. Fast forward 20 minutes home and it was still super hot. Paired with some homemade rice, this stuff was delicious. I have yet to experience a bad seafood boil, but this restaurant was so amazing with its huge portions and flavor. Even split between four adults, we could barely finish it yet still kept going simply because it was so so flavorful and yummy. Almost a steal for all of this food for a set costing only 40$. I do want to try the other items on their menu too! Super recommend for any families that want a great dinner that won't break the bank. read more

We have been regular customers here for 3 yrs! We come 1-4 times a month. Last night was the worst experience with service ever! Normally the owner and her sister are very nice and accommodating. Last night they were dismissive and rude. My work gives us $60 Grubhub credits in weekends. We've used them for both dine in and carry out in the past. I know it sounds weird using a Grubhub credit for dine in, but it is a "use it or lose it" credit good for only 1 night. Last night there were 3 open tables and we were the only ones waiting to be seated. After waiting 15 minutes, my wife was very hungry so we pre-ordered on Grubhub and let her know so the food cud be served to us when we were seated. After waiting longer, they had the new waitress we've never met before come inform us it's against policy to open grub hub orders in the restaurant or allow us to dine in. So we were informed we wouldn't be seated and they seated 2 groups that came in after us. We have done this before without issue! I was so upset at the rude treatment I walked out. I didn't care about the food! Needless to say we won't be back! Years of loyal patronage down the drain! read more

Ordered the shrimp and crab plate adding crawfish with heat level medium Cajun, it was the right amount of spice! There are only a few restaurants in the IE I would recommend for fresh seafood and Seafood Boiler is in my top 2. I only have great things to say about Seafood Boiler. They offer Cajun with a Thai twist. My go to order is a coconut shrimp 7.8/10 or clam chowder 8.5/10 as appetizer and seafood boiler platter spicy level hot with coconut curry seasoning 8.8/10 as the main course. I usually enjoy this meal with a cold Blue Moon. I've also had there Lobster Roll 7.1/10, Fried Tilapia 6.8/10 , Rice and Coconut Curry 7.3/10, Fish and Chips 7.8, Linguine Jambalaya 7.7/10 , Angel Hair w/ Shrimp 7.6/10. Everything taste fresh and delicious. Service is great for how busy they get. The place is family operated and they do a great job attending to their customers. The Interior of this location is neat with low radio music playing in the background. There are about 10 tables and their usually isn't a wait. I stopped in for some seafood and ordered the shrimp lover, chowder, fries and lobster roll. For starters the service was perfect and our waiter was very kind and on point. The chowder was just excellent and the portion size was perfect for two. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and it was truly 3lbs, but I will say the sauce was just a little bland. I asked for medium heat and there was literally no spice. The lobster roll was good and the portion size was perfect, but it was a little to salty in our opinion. I really loved my experience here! I had been craving seafood boil and was about to go to a chain seafood boil restaurant, but decided to come here instead based on the reviews. I came in around 2 pm on a Thursday. Parking was easy to find and it wasn't super busy inside. I was greeted immediately and was sat at a table towards the back. I would say the music can get pretty loud, but I was sitting right under the speakers. The food came within 8 minutes of being sat! Super fast! I ordered the Build Your Own Boiler: 1 lb Crawfish, with Cajun, Lemon Pepper, and Garlic Pepper seasoning, spice level Hot, and added corn. I also ordered white rice on the side and a Mango Iced Tea. The flavors were amazing! The Hot spice level is the perfect amount to taste all of the seasonings. I could probably do Extra Hot next time! I'm not sure if refills for the iced tea are free, but I got a free refill and it was very nice! One thing I will say is that there are no prices on the add-ons portion of this menu. I thought the corn would be included in the price, but it was actually $3. Definitely ask the waiter any questions you have about the menu! I noticed that a lot of the customers are regulars and the staff makes it a point to welcome them back, which I thought was very sweet. Their seafood boil flavors are so good! We got coconut curry for the shrimp and Cajun for the crawfish. Got both extra spicy and each dish was flavorful with a nice kick. I ordered via yelp which was very easy--: Fish and Chips, Chicken Tenders and chips plus two Clam Chowders. The order was ready before the estimated time. The Fish and the Chicken Tended chips were excellent. There were so many fries too-more than enough. However, I was really ordering for the Clam Chowder because the other things are the only items my family orders at every resturant they don't understand. This was a to-go order. The portions for the clam chowder was a lot. Every once in awhile my wife plays a trick on me and orders something and then turns around and gives it to me. I already said i'm on a diet. Some people dont understand English and think they are helping if they feed you... She gave me her clam chowder too. Anyway, the clam chowder was around 85% soup and no clams or something in there. It tasted good. However, I had to throw in a huge amount of crackes to make it feel like full and to grab something. After all that, I STILL had another one waiting for me which I didnt eat. The resturant is great but the clam chowder didn't have enough in it. It's not that far but maybe 1 block more away (north) from all the other good resturants in the area. read more

Sure, there's A LOT of Cajun/Creole seafood places around, especially if you go to OC but where do you find one that has Thai flavors?! Recommend: clam chowder, coconut shrimp, fish&chips, lobster roll, any of the pastas, coconut curry&rice, and of course...the Seafood Platter (garlic pepper or the curry sauce). Everything is FIRE! They know what they're doing. Besides the fantastic food, it is affordable so you can splurge a bit and not break the bank. Nancy and her husband have always been very sweet and welcoming. Never heard if this place until I was craving lobster last night. Placed an order for pick-up. Food was ready by the time I got there which was about 15-20 min and my food was still warm as ordered. Place is small but in a convenient location. Plenty of parking. Not a lot of tables for a sit-down so plan accordingly. Food was delicious.
