I made a review about the lotto practices here and later found out that many small liquor stores don't have enough money in the morning to pay out and grocery stores do. The manager mentioned to me that she has made an adjustment so more funds are available which is a positive thing, however as a retail manager myself, I don't agree with her bringing my review up to my face as if she's making some type of attempt to scold me. Just so you know Merna, you can't remove reviews. If you can it's not easy. I attempted to remove the review but couldn't, and now that you wanted to address my review, I feel the unprofessional nature of your behavior warrants leaving it. Here's what good customer service sounds like. Oh I'm so sorry we don't have the funds just yet as we don't start with that much cash. You can go to the grocery store or come back afternoon. That's a polite way to talk to a 7 day a week customer. You were direct and rude when you heard me say I don't understand. We've been going to this store years. Excellent craft beer and liquor selection. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I visited here today to get it's special brand of beer - Great notion. The guy working at the front office was very helpful very nice. He even went back in the cooler to check that and then called his manager so that I can have a similar beer. The beer he gave me was wonderful. Very similar to Great notion. This was my second visit and I must say this manager and the other girl Miriam and there was one more guy who helped me last month. All are very very helpful I seriously want to request their manager to give them a reward or at least pass on this message to them. Good job all three of you. Guy sells liquor to a man with tattoos just moments before I walk up to purchase a lighter without asking for the guy's ID. As soon as I walk up he says he THINKS that the law is 21 to buy a lighter. It's late at night, you aren't even sure, and if you really cared why was the guy ahead of me not asked for his ID. Do I need to show up with tattoos next time? I can understand that 20 is not 21 and if that's "the law" for a $2 piece of plastic, then fine, but dont profile me specifically when anyone with body ink just so happens to be more impressionable or whatever. Hire more professional and educated people I'd suggest. read more

Called asked if they had a walk in humidor and the women who answered said she didn't know so she put me on hold for me a minute then she picked the phone back up said "no" and before I could ask if they sold cigars at at all she just hung up on me and don't answer the phone again. Lost my business forever. I work in costumer service and that is no way to treat a person, especially a prospective new customer. They have no idea how often I spend money on the and they obviously are doing so well they don't care. Great neighborhood liquor store with outstanding pricing and variety. Only reason for the 4 star vs 5 is that they do close a bit early (that would be 11 PM) and don't have quite the massive selection (plus the entire wine cellar) that their sister store Hilltop Liquor on Beach Blvd has. Short of that they've got a big selection of spirits and beers, solid on wines and their pricing is spot on. You can "dine" as well or cheaply as your budget and desires dictate. I grew up going to this liquor store since I could ride a bike and buy candy. Still a great spot. The employees are chill and now the beer selection is above par. I can't speak enough about the quality, organization and labeling of prices. I will always stop for a couple bottles when I'm in the area because of it. I didn't get the guy's name, but great work on pricing and keeping things in order! Other stores should take note and learn from this guy. read more

so i was in the parking lot and my friend was purchasing cheladas. while i waiting a delivery van pulled beside me at an awkward angle. when my friend came back, we attempted to pull out and had an issue, after we got out , the manager comes out and is shaking a pencil, so i roll my window down and this man is saying i could've pulled out better if i wasn't drunk. i had only taken a small sip to taste the drink my friend had and before even getting a chance to explain the manager, he leans into the window and tells my friend in her face and yells SHUT UP. it was so disrespectful that we just drove off in shock . i would never recommend any female come to this store unless you don't mind this man speaking to you like a fuckin idiot he is . read more

My family and i grew up going into Seagate liquor.everything has been great until just recently. I went in on Saturday July 23th around 11 am. Came in to buy a $5 scratcher. I paid with a $20 so I asked for five ones and the rest didn't matter. The clerk went off to say he hated the carwash next door that everyone needs change and started to curse me out using the F word and other obscenity. He kept yelling at me to get out of his store that he was not an effing bank. It was a terrible experience and I hope no one else that shops there have to encounter such a disgusting clerk who clearly has no concern for customer service or the welfare of the business. My family and I will never step in that liquor store ever again. read more
