This place is located downtown Rehoboth beach area. 48 dollars for two bikes half a day. I don't think that is too bad. The gentleman who was working at the shop who's name I didn't catch was super nice. I'm sure he also appreciated my calling and letting him know that we be late since we were stuck in traffic driving up from Maryland. The parking with this place was a tad tricky I recommend personally parking at the beach and just walking over especially wants to tourist start to Inundate This area. I don't know I had a really good time I really enjoy riding bikes I feel like it's so relaxing if someone asked me what do I like to do to relax it's bike riding especially if I can do it near a beach. We were given a 6 foot lock and a helmet my daughter had to wear one because she's 16 and we were off. The drop off and pick up was super easy if my family and I decide to visit this place again this summer which I'm sure we will and we decide to rent bikes we will for sure be back! read more

They had great eBikes for reasonable weekly rates. Good location. Friendly enough staff (given they deal with tourists all day). Aventon bike was great, albeit had been beat up and made some squeaks but it was the brand I wanted and it worked fine all week. read more

We were spending the holidays in Rehoboth area this past year and it happened to be 60 degrees! We were hopeful that we could find a bike rental spot last minute and Seagreen delivered. We arrived later in the afternoon-typically they closed at 4, but the owners offered to stay open to 5 if we wanted rent. We ended up renting for 24 hours (actually like 30hrs) and the bikes were perfect for the flat areas around Rehoboth, Cape Henlopen and Dewey/Bethany. We were given helmets, bike locks, bike lights for nighttime riding and handlebar bags. Each bike had a bell, too. They have a few locations in the area and each place we went the staff was super friendly, happy to help and chill people. They made its super easy for last minute, walk-in rentals and considering the area, it was pretty affordable ($32 a day- not sure if that stays true for Summer Livin'). Told us to call the shop if we had a flat tire, or if something came up we needed help with. I have rented from a few other places around the area and they typically have kept my license or credit card for security, but I did not have to leave either which was a plus for us. For bargain shoppers: their Boardwalk location on Virginia Avenue has all the used seats, bags, etc from the summer on sale for dirrrrrt cheap! You have to sift through somethings to find what you are looking for but we bought handle bar bags, seat bags, cell phone holders, bells and mirrors for a steal. read more

Had a blowout while in a nearby bike path. Called and Mike answers saying if I bring it in, he can have it fixed within the hour. Came in and he took the tire immediately, called me over to show how a spoke went through the tire where the safety tape was installed incorrectly. All set and done within 30 minutes for under $40. Looked around and saw a large selection of accessories, so had to buy a phone holder. All the staff was super nice, prices were fair. read more

These guys tried to overcharge me $80 for a rental. The guy said he "wasn't sure what the rate was" but you could see in his face he knew. It was clearly intentional. Beware of this place. read more

Yesterday I borrowed my friend's bike and thought the tires were just a little flat. I attempted to inflate them myself, but alas they needed some special bike store air. There across route 1 I espied SeaGreen Bicycle from my position at Wawa tire inflation post. There was I noticed, as I pushed this sad specimen of a bike across the lanes of traffic, a suspicious pointy spoke, clickety clacking with every turn of the wheel. Upon arrival at SeaGreen filled with beautiful bikes all neatly displayed. I met with Matt and asked if he could fill my tired tires. 'Of course wheel her in' or something jolly to that effect. I showed him the pointy offensive metal. Matt alerted me that at least four more spokes were broken and indicated the bike was not safe to ride in this condition. He shook his head at this new grave situation. A new wheel was needed! Matt checked the back and found a lone wheel ready for a new adventure. Luckily the back wheel was fine. In about 10 minutes I had a new wheel, brakes tested and inflated tires. He even cleaned the frame. His service, knowledge, professionalism and kindness were exceptional. There are rare individuals who make your day better. Yesterday Matt did just that for me. I rode a respectable 6 miles and enjoyed every minute. read more

Wow, I had the most amazing experience with Seagreen Bicylce. I wanted to get an electric bike, and stopped by the Baltimore and Hebron on multiple occasions while I was deciding what to get. Each and every staff member was patient and helpful, explained candidly about the pros and cons of each bike, and worked with me to select the one that worked best for me. Matt on Hebron was particularly helpful, and even advised me on how to enhance the safety of my ebike experience. Frank is also super, very helpful and accommodating. Great bike shop! I needed to get in a weekend training ride of 55 miles, and Frank set me up with a Giant aluminum frame/ carbon fork road bike with Ultegra components, and he even recommended a terrific route for me to try -- scenic, with little traffic. It was one of the best rides I've had in a while. I brought some of my family back for a shorter fun ride later in the week, and he got us set up and out quickly. My husband just purchased a Cannondale hybrid bike from the Lewes location. We accessorized it with cages, lights and odometer and spent close to $800. We happened to have 2 bikes in the Rehoboth shop for 3 tube replacement for a ridiculous charge of $75. Very disappointing charge, considering we have purchased parts and our recent expenditure with the bike purchase. I would recommend shopping around for a more customer loyal establishment. It's sad that there is such a low number of competent and fair priced bicycle shops in the Lewes, Rehoboth beach towns. read more

We recently had a very pleasing experience with Seagreen (Eric & Frank). Their shop assembled a Trike that we had ordered on-line and had difficulty putting together properly ourselves. They responded promptly to our email request for help. After delivering the Trike to them, they assembled the bike expertly and then delivered it back to our home---all in just two days. My family spent a week in Rehoboth Beach and we only had 2 bikes and one child seat. We decided to rent 2 more bikes and 2 bike seats so we could take advantage of this bicycle friendly community. I had trouble finding a bike rental place that would just rent the kid's seat separately and we were just about to rent 3 bikes with seats when we ran across Seagreen. They were very accommodating and more than willing to set up my bike with a seat and rent us another bike with a seat attached. We ended up getting everything we needed at a very reasonable price. Seagreen Bicycle has just become my regular LBS. I've been taking my bike to two other shops in the area. One of the shops is good, but I usually have to wait 2-3 weeks to get my bike back due to the high demand, especially in the Spring/Summer seasons. The second bike shop overcharges and does sketchy work. I had to take my bike in to Seagreen so they could fix the work that was done prior. I am so grateful that I did because I ended up finding the kind of bike shop that I have been wanting to find. Skip and Mike were professional, kind and extremely knowledgeable. I dropped my bike off on Thurday and got it back the next day. WOW! I was expecting to get it back on Saturday, but they got it done a day early. I let them know that my budget was a bit tight and they did what was needed and didn't try to up-sell me on a bunch of needless maintenance. Also, they rewired my bike computer cable that was starting to get caught in the brake caliper and tire. After the work they did my bike now rides like it did when it was new. The shifting is crisp and it rolls easier now with the wheel bearings lubed/cleaned. They even wiped down my bike. When they called to tell me my bike was done I asked if they could install some tires I had ordered online and they were eager to do it. Thanks guys. You have just gained a loyal customer. read more

We have rented bikes from him while staying in Rehoboth Beach and he is a class act running a full service operation. Each employee is trained to make sure you get the kind of bike you want and the right fit. The prices are very reasonable by the day or week. Seagreen specializes in Tandems, Surreys, Joggers and Burley Trailers while Atlantic Cycles offers all of that plus road bikes. I highly recommend SeaGreen Bicycles and hope you have as good of an experience as we did. read more

We took our bike to SeaGreen Bicycle today for a repair of a repeated flat. Mike, the mechanic, did a very thorough job, checking for sharp spots in the rim, and found one near a spoke, so he put on new rim tape while fixing it. The last place we took it had just changed out the tube, which didn't solve the problem. I was glad to find out there is a year-round place with a friendly mechanic that doesn't mind doing outside work in the summer season, even though it is also a rental place. We bought some new lights we needed in appreciation. We will be back! read more
