So irritating! All of the reviews are exactly what I experienced, except the 5 star ones written by the staff and their friends. I'm old enough to know that a business with 3 star average is going to present an array of problems for me. It took 15 minutes to get noticed. I had to creep into the staff area before someone was kind of forced to ask us what we wanted. After I was handed a bike, I asked for a new one due to the tread being at the end. The guy said tires "come that way". After a little awkward silence while the Jesus TV blared and the "NO HOMELESS SHELTER in Rehoboth, SEND them somewhere else" sign on the register flapped as another guest opened the door and walked in, he reluctantly came back with a new bike. Only this one has the same problem. Tread that was low enough to have the customer pay for a popped tire to help these guys out on their bike tire costs. Needless to say, I finally got a new bike with better tread in the end, only because I'm middle aged and don't put up with that kind of crap anymore. I was never offered a helmet, bikes have no night lights, and the cost was never devolved. They wanted a credit card and customers gone, out of their way. What these guys seem to forget is customers like me give them a job. They also forget decency, and pawn off their worst bikes so you can pay for repairing the tires that will hopefully pop for them to start fresh again, on your dime. Sad that you cannot get anyone to return phone calls to schedule repairs. Tried for 3 days and promised a call back but never a call back. Thats what happens when you one of the only games in town, customer service goes right down the tubes. Simple call back is pretty basic, shouldn't have to ask 3 days in a row. read more

They were suppose to replace 2 spokes instead they replaced the wheel ( they said 60 dollars and it was 85) after picking the bike up that tire went flat. Took the bike back the next day and they said it was because I needed a new tire. I took the bike to another tire shop they looked at the tire and said it didn't need a tire just a tube which they didn't have. I go to another bike shop they also said that I didn't need a tire, just a tube which was probably damage doing the replacement of the wheel. This shop must have been sold because the bike came from there and at that time it was good service but worse now never go back. read more

I dunno. I'm really "iffy" about this place but I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. My best friend wanted to treat me to something for my birthday (an early gift). So, he thought why not treat us with fun with scooters. We had been at the beach all week and saw people riding scooters everywhere. However, dumb of us not to actually notice the name of the rental place. So, when the day came to rent...we happened to see this place and saw scooters out in the front parking lot. We go in and inquire about renting scooters. They claimed that they do not rent out scooters due to insurance reasons. They only sell them. Whaaa? You have all these scooters and none for rental. You mean...you don't rent them out, right? Because there are other people riding around in scooter rentals. Well, instead of making drama, we thought we'll just rent their bikes instead. My best friend is a tall guy. So, he got a big bike that was just right for his height. And, they didn't have the right bike for me. I had to take one that designed for taller people. Er...and this is a bike rental shop?!?! Other than that, off we went biking. The hybrid bike was not that bad...a smooth ride. (This the only reason for the extra star.) We found a nice trial with such beautiful scenery. And the rental price was reasonable. When we returned, we noticed a mini-buggy which we also noticed that other people have been driving around. So, we inquired about it. They said $5,000. We asked for sale or for renting? For rental they replied. (You mean...all these people shell out 5K just to rent the buggy? Yeah right!) Right then and there, my best friend and I looked at each other and just felt that something was fishy. Could it be because we were Deaf and were discriminated? Just couldn't quite figure out what was going on. We just nodded our pretty heads and left. All I know...I definitely would not return there. read more

We rented a couple of bicycles while in town visiting friends. The sign up and rental process was very easy and the worker was very friendly and helped us adjust our bikes. The cost was very reasonable. They even offer up bike locks and helmets as well. We rented the two bikes for the entire day and it was less than $40. Great customer service! read more

I had a great experience yesterday at All Wheels. I took in one of my tires soon after they opened because I kept getting flats in the same location. Figured it was a rim issue. The individual who greeted me suggested removing the rim tape, grinding down spoke heads, and then applying new tape. He was able to do the work in a couple of hours and by afternoon I was riding again and no new flat. Very pleased with the responsiveness and customer service. read more

I can't say enough great things about the bike shop and the owner George!! My husband and I went in there today to purchase a Buddy scooter. He as so helpful, knowledgable, patient and fun! So fun, my husband ended up buying a Buddy too! We were driving off within 2 hours with scooters, locks, covers and temporary tags! Gave a a great deal on everything and even gave us a mini 15 minute safety class. We've previously bought Trek road bikes there too! Chad (technician) answered multiple phone calls and guided me through my first outings. They set up my trailer hitch and made everything run so smoothly. The WORST experience! I took my bike in for service on a Sunday. Was told that the bike would be ready the next day. Never received a call. Two days later I decided to stop by and check on the status, since no one was answering the phone when I called. Again the bike had not been worked on. The bike was finally ready for pick up 5 days later, again I had to call to check on the status. The associate working the counter was rude! He could not get the credit card to process. He complained and used profanity until the process was completed. The staff at All Wheels clearly does not care about customer service or building relationships with their customers. As consumers we have choices and there are other bike shops in Rehoboth who are willing to help you! read more

We rented two bikes from them over Fourth of July. Our condo was two blocks away, and they were the cheapest. One of the bikes was fine. The other, when they gave it to us, had a flat tire. They put air in it and told us we'd be fine for the weekend. By the midpoint of that day, the tire was seriously low again. We went back and they replaced the tube finding a staple in it. We rode back the two blocks and parked. We didn't ride the next day. When I went to get on the bike the next morning, the same wheel was totally flat. I walked the bike to the shop, which was closed, and filled it with air. I rode into Rehoboth to get pastries, and In that 20 minutes it started to go flat again. I locked the bike up in front of the shop since it wasn't rideable and returned with the other bike when they opened. I returned both bikes and asked that they not charge me full price for the one bike because of the problems. Not only did they charge full price, they insisted on $7 for a tube for the flat despite the fact there was no evidence of damage to the tire or tube. Long and short, these guys aren't into customer service and don't check their equipment. I won't use them again, and suggest you pay a little more for a good vacation experience at other shops. read more

What a horrible place. The business owner is rude and abrasive. He literally yelled at me in his store in front of other patrons. We rented a bike and left an old bike that was useless. We discussed with the employee if we could leave the bike there and locked it. While we never got a response on whether it was ok to leave the bike there, we were late getting back and figured we'd just swap back the bikes in the morning. The owner decided he would not call me, even though he had my number. He decided he would just cut our lock and move the bike. When I went in to the store he would not let me speak and just yelled at me. Jerk does not even begin to describe this guy. I would never do business with this store again and I hope the readers of this agree. I don't understand how someone in a service industry can continue to be in business. Horrible sneaky and I will never come back. I dropped off my old bike to get fixed and they told me it was going to be 65$. At the time I was already thinking about getting a new bike but I said ok. Then they called me and told me it was ready and was going to be 114$. I'm already very angry because I probably would have just bought a new bike if I knew it was going to be 114$. Turns out when I go to pick it up the total magically jumped to 139$ because my tire "was gonna pop soon." Normally if I get quoted at 65$ the choice is mine if I want to spend the 139$ to get it fixed. Not here! Absolutely terrible and they lost a customer AND a new bike sale. Trash store. read more

Great customer service, amazing knowledge of bikes, they really take the time to educate you and make sure you are getting a good fit for the type of riding you want to do. Prices and selection are great. George is the owner and he is amazing but everyone there is so helpful and courteous. First time I went in was just to help blow up a tire, I hadn't ever inflated a hybrid tire and didn't want to mess it up. The help with that and so much more. Went back later for a blown tire. Week later called on the phone and George provided a complete education around purchasing a bike, ended up putting a bike on hold for me since I live out of state. With that type of customer service and their prices it's worth waiting until my next trip to Rehoboth to buy from someone I trust and want to do business with. read more

We bought two Cali Classic scooters from George at All Wheels, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Not only was the buying process simple and painless, but George went the extra mile to register our scooters for us, recommend insurance coverage etc. Since we bought the scooters, we had a mechanical issue (since we didn't use them all winter) and George & team fixed it up quickly and CHEAPLY. Finally, a friend of mine crashed the scooter. The team has been on the parts ordering, and even came to my house to "diagnose" and get the repairs started. I have rented bikes for me and my kids from them for 2 vacations now. Had a good experience both times. But this year, I had bought a new bike for myself and brought it to the beach. I stupidly damaged the threads on a pedal when I arrived in rehoboth. I brought my bike in. They tried to fix it for close to an hour and could not. The treads were too damaged. They then ordered the replacement part and had mike bike ready to go in no time. And he charged me only $25 for all his time and it included the new part. After all they did I expected a bill close to $100. I'm very pleased with the service and the pricing. read more
