We were even more pleased with our stay once we checked-in and met the owners, Peter and Nick (brothers who took over, remodeled and updated their Father's family hotel). It was a pleasure to stay in such a lovely spot with such family history. Both men were helpful, accommodating and friendly. They did an amazing job remodeling the suites - wonderful linens, decor, washer/dryer, heated bathroom floors, outdoor seating and more! The only thing that topped the accommodations were the views and beach access (they provide beach towels and chairs for guests).

As far as the property itself is concerned, the Lighthouse fronts on the miles-long, amazingly wide, hard-sand beach of Pine Point. It couldn't have been more perfect for the daily beach walking we love so much. But for us, there's been another very important element, one that has meant every bit as much to us as the accommodations themselves: the kindness and caring of the two brothers who own and run the Lighthouse. They're the only managers on site, and NOTHING is too much for them to do for the comfort of their guests. In a world where kindness is so very needed - and often so hard to find - Nick and Peter provide it in abundance, straight from the heart. It's impossible not to feel warmly welcomed, cared for, and happy there.

I have her email saying my reservation on the cottage I requested at 44 temple avenue was confirmed. She then sent me a contract for 69 temple avenue. I trusted Martha that she knew what she was doing, and that was my mistake. so I sent in my deposit. My grand daughter is five and is undergoing chemotherapy treatments which are very costly so they are unable to to come this year. I asked for a refund and Jeff chute called me and was very rude and nasty to me. He said I was "making up excuses" when I told him about my granddaughter. He has no ethics and no empathy. Martha is learning her customer service skills from Jeff. Horrible! This is why you see signs for tamarack realty all over the area now and hardly any for ocean park realty like in past years. Do not associate with ocean park realty unless you want to lose your deposit when they make an error, be bullied and called a liar.
