If you are in need of a decent place, especially given the crazy rent prices... just be forewarned…read morewhen getting into business with this "management company." They "manage" a few rental buildings and properties in Biddeford. The maintenance team is awesome so from a tenant prospective the maintenance folks are awesome and really try and get your problem resolved and fixed as quickly as they can... Ethan is the best! As for dealing with the "property managers," you may have to take some deep breathes and just realize that their only concern is to collect your rent payment in the most shady of ways. You have to pay in cash, money order or check and physically drop it off at their office or send it through their PO Box. They never tell you where their physical office is and you can't find a valid and operating telephone number. Their "business" email addresses is @gmail.com. seriously, not even a valid company domain?! And you may end up getting your rent payment stolen if you drop it off or it does not "credited" to your account and then you end up having to scramble to find extra payments or they are real quick to start the eviction process; no questions asked. When you ask if you can pay electronically, they say they can't allow it. It's freaking 2022 and it's "too complicated" for them to just set up zelle or PayPal to get their tenants to pay?! The laundry room and machines are always out of service for one reason or another. The steps and sidewalks are often cracked and rundown. Sometimes the neighbors look like they are dealing with illegal stuff selling, promoting, etc. Again in a pinch, what you get for $1k - $1,300 for the unit isn't bad... but if you try and leave and do everything the right way including getting a professional cleaning service to come in to make sure you get your security deposit back; you won't. They reduce what they want and do not explain anything or have proof that they needed to do cleaning or fixes. Basically they just try to take your money in any way they can. They also never return phone calls or emails, and if they do you get a response back after 3 days at times and you always have to be after them. If you choose to renew your lease agreement, they never provide you with an updated agreement. They are not at all professional, no matter how small of a company you claim to be.... Being professional and giving the tenants the right paperwork and information they need for example when they need file their tax returns, like who should be listed as the landlord, etc has no limits. Every company no matter how big or small would normally provide this basic information early on and clearly upon entering into a lease agreement.

They own several hotels down OOB and I rented one as a winter rental and the place was disgusting…read more Dirty. Wasn't clean from the person before me. Blood on the walls. Floors sinking in. Burners on stove were black from dirt. Crumbs inside the burner. Was a fire hazard. I immediately went back to office and was told I couldn't get my money back and that since I complained I was being put on the do not rent list. Horrible managers. Do not rent especially at Beach motel and suites

And never have I made a more detrimental financial mistake that is as bad as choosing ascend to manage my property. While I can't discuss some things in their entirety -- it has been a nightmare, an absolutely gross oversight of their duties that's costing me and there's no end in sight. The staff will not call you, or answer about 60% of emails, the owner thinks it's beneath him to reach out personally to try and be helpful. Money has been lost and mismanaged 2-3 times now and no single month feels consistent. I never know what's happening with my home, the condition of it, and now I'm getting hit with legal fees and have a lien on my property from the delinquency of Ascend not have utilities properly switched. If you're an ascend client- check your ledgers carefully. If you're not--- run don't walk. Now I'm being threatened by them with retaliatory billing practices because I am not keeping quiet anymore , try any other company besides them.

Their pricing seems extremely fair, and Zach was upfront about estimated expenses in the first few months due to some existing tenant issues I have with my property. The communication has been excellent. Very easy process to get all the paperwork done. I have high expectations based on their reviews from other platforms!

KRE scammed my fiancé and I, and from other reviews it seems like that's a common theme with them. You should 100% listen to the other reviews and run the other way. This rental company will find any way they can to maximize their profit and keep your money. The only positive review this company has is from a former employee and personal friend of the owner, King Weinstein. This man obviously has never dealt with KRE as a tenant or customer. Save your time and money and look elsewhere.

I moved out at the end of my lease and my room mate a new lease. They took first months payment from him and used my security deposit for him and told me to get it from him. Then when they sent me a check was only for half of the security deposit. They said it was because of the damage to the condo they had to repair. No repair was ever made to the condo sense there was no damage and the current renter even verified that. Took a complete year to get the money. Two years ago my mother in-law rented a house on Scarborough beach. The pictures did not match the place. It was a dump. Again, they over charged her credit card and tried to screw her out of her security deposit. These people are scum! Check out their rankings with the Better Business Bureau and attorney generals office.
