When we were done, and went in to check out the two employees that were working while we were there were busy chatting and it took them a little while to decide to stop and help us.

Other than some picnic tables and a port-a-potty, there aren't any services here. They do have signs posted that overnight trailer parking is not permitted (but maybe camper parking is?). This park is a small spit of land at the base of the Caloosahatchee Bridge. It lies along the…read moreCaloosahatchee River making it a great spot for fishing but a free salt water fishing license is required. The parking here is also free. Lee County Parks & Recreation took over responsibility of the North Shore Bridge Access from the State of Florida in August of 1987. A pier was added to the park in 2000 which was paid for with proceeds from the three cent bed tax imposed on short-term tourist stays in Lee County. The park is home to the Edison Sailing Center which offers sailing and power boat safety lessons here. Note that although North Shore Park has a beach, swimming is not permitted. Restroom facilities are port a potties. I enjoyed taking a walk on the trail that runs from the parking lot to the base of the bridge. You can get a stunning view of the river, especially at sunset.

I needed my product for an upcoming trip. I received a call today 6/19/2026 from a ERO representative who advised that the shipping was higher than what was calculated at check-out (it more than doubled) and they couldn't ship my order unless I wanted to pay the additional shipping charges. I declined and she then tried to switch me to another product. I assume they are not aware that Under Florida law, once your payment is processed and an order confirmation is sent, a legally binding contract is formed. The company cannot unilaterally change the price of the shipping or hold my order hostage. If they fail to honor the original agreed-upon price, they are in breach of contract. This is exactly what they did here. My next step is reporting them to Florida regulators for their poor business practices. This mistake was not my doing! ERO should have done the right thing here.

My friend is really talented, my boyfriend has gotten the hang of it, and then me on the other hand not so great. This just solidifies the fact that people of any skill set can enjoy a day out at the cable park. The staff is SUPER friendly and are very encouraging when it comes to teaching and cheering you on. I never felt intimidated or that people were going to laugh at me when it was my turn to ride. Everyone is helpful and will be there if you have any questions. The park offers the life jacket, helmet, and board as part of the fee. You pay by the hour (1, 2, 4, 6 or a seasonal pass), and the prices are reasonable. For the first time you go you get a first timers price, and it's definitely worth it! They also have knee boards and skis you can try out if you're not comfortable with the wake board. Overall, this place is a lot of fun and it's a perfect place for a group of friends or even a day date! It's great exercise too!

They gave a discount to me since it was my first time and I had to watch an instructional video on the safety and precautions when riding in the cable park. The rental of the helmet, lifevest, and beginner wakeboard was included in the price presented so I like that there was no hidden fees. When you first walk up you will drive into a parking lot that has a trailer where they will get you a wristband and any information you need to ride. If you have never wake boarded at a cable park this is a great place to start! Getting used to riding on the cable versus riding behind a boat is slightly different, but I would say the biggest thing is to make sure that you keep your arms tucked in a little bit more so it doesn't yank you as much when you go around the cable corners. I like that there were different obstacles to use in the park and that The workers and other riders there were happy to give tips of what to do when riding in a cable park. I went with three other people and we had a great time, very glad that they let me borrow their wakeboard that had boots on them or I would not have been able to go off of the jumps. I had a great time and went off of a couple jumps by the end of my two hour riding time. I feel like a two hour time is a good amount to get used to the water and to leave you dead tired by the end of it. I took a couple hard hits in the water so two hours was a good time for me. I started with a sitting start, then I did a standing start, then I did a jump start. Can't wait to go back again to see how I can improve!

I have been wanting to kayak with manatees for years, and I was finally able to drag someone along…read moreon my adventure. We scheduled our rental online - very easy - and Bryan showed up right on time with kayaks. Handed us a map (and kept us from kayaking out with the tide!) and set us loose. We were too early for manatees, but the paddle through the mangroves was fun and very relaxing. The park we met at had an excellent kayak launch that made getting in/out SO EASY! I wish we had them in the great north! At the end of our 4 hours Bryan was right there ready to handle packing things up. It was so slick and well worth the rental price even if I didn't see any manatees. I'll be bringing my husband with next time!
