I had a fun shopping experience at Simply Grace Thrift Store! I even had hubby with me and that can…read moresometimes shorten the length of my time in the store. But not that day! Hubby was off looking at clothes of all things. He actually found a great deal on a men's puffer jacket (Hawke & Co.) for $10! There were a couple of tiny tears around one elbow and I sewed the hanging nylon and with all the puffer action, you can't even tell I repaired it. He is very happy with his purchase! Since it was right before Halloween, we were looking at costumes, etc. I found a cute girls pumpkin dress and while I was there I sent a pic to my niece, but she already had something similar. They had everything arranged so nicely and the store was well lit. They had some very nice brand name clothing items and the prices were great! And, the best thing of all is that the proceeds from the store benefit the counseling and services available to patrons that need their help.

A plain white t-shirt that still has a tag showing it was on clearance at Walmart for $1... the store thinks is appropriate to Market up to $6 And then you'll see a graphic tee photo that was sold at the original store for $5, but the Salvation Army decides that they need to Market up to $8. I understand there are overhead costs but thift shops are suppose to be less expensive than the original store! Thifting is a necessity to some, fun to some, and for anyone looking for those unique pieces. I will go to other shops, not SA.

I clocked out . She was not aware of my regular shopping and I guess assumed I was some vagrant off the street.! So she told me not yo come back! Like high enough that many things you can get on a sale rack, brand new. Also, they had a sales rack outside but then didn't want to honor the price. Another employee had to step in and say, "Yes, this is from the sales rack." The store is set up nice. It is easy to find great items, if you're willing to pay those prices.
