1st time to stop by and thrift. Omg such a big fun place full of bins to dig through. Lots of rooms labeled with there treasures. A very large selection. It was 1/2 price day and I had a cart full. The 2 ladies behind the counter where so nice and friendly they made the experience so much fun.

This is the best Thrift Store in Rowlett. They have everything from hardwood/sturdy furniture, to knick knacks, to clothing and shoes. I've purchased more furniture to repurpose/refinish than I can count. The prices are fantastic, and proceeds go to a great cause. The ladies are exceptionally helpful, and friendly. They also have a rewards punch card. For every ten dollars you spend, they punch the card. When you get ten punches you get 25% off your purchase (excluding furniture). Attached are some of the pieces I've purchased and redone.

Love, love, love this true thrift store. Never know what I'm going to find. And the owners are sincerely helping the community.

Ohh my gosh!!! Yes this place has everything and anything ur looking for. Im serious. Theres a room for everything. I was amazed at all the stuff that was in there. Lots of vintage stuff I found to decorate my house. Literally hands down the best spot I've been too. Way better than goodwill and good prices. And they give cash back when u shop there. I spent $20 and got 2 bucks back, hey! At least they're not asking for donations and ripping u off like goodwill. Yea I know it's donations but who really knows where that round up is really going to . I'm telling you this place has it all and plenty of it . I definitely recommend this place! And they were super nice people working the place.. read more

Today I started Volunteering in the food pantry for life message. I met a lot of amazing people today and mostly volunteers , these people work as a team and your treated like family ! Spotted this store on my way home today. Took a chance and stopped in, so glad I did! The staff is very friendly and sound like one big, happy family. The store is divided into three sections; clothes, housewares, and furniture, with a subsection for books and another for glasses and plates and the like. I could browse this place for hours. Very reasonable prices. read more

This "group" is constantly working to reach out to people. The number of people they feed is evident. Just drive by in distribution days and see helping in action!!! Thrift store is wonderful. I have been going to Life Message Thrift for many years, I didn't know there a was a review. I like that. Within the last couple of months I have been trying to help my grand children with things they need for their apartment. I bought several dressers and a few night stands. I sanded and repainted them. They look beautiful and new! I am so happy I could do this for my kiddos. The owner and her staff are just awesome!!! My grand children are so happy! And I feel so blessed! I could not have been able to help them if it were not for Life Message Thrift. I love these people! read more

I've relied on this store for years for cheap kids clothes, affordable work wear, toys, jewelry and other little splurges. Look! I know the employees hate this, but don't sleep on the racks rolled out to the floor. They'll either have the freshest donations that no one has pawed over yet, or they'll have the oldest items with the heaviest discounts. They do post the color tags and what percentage is off each rather prominently throughout the store. This place is hit or miss. I frequently come and find nothing. My last visit I found Free People and other Nordstrom clothes with tags still attached. So, you never know!

For $5 you get to park your car in the adjacent lot and gain admission to their little fair (we had cash, not sure if they accept credit or debit). There were a bunch of pumpkin displays, free hayride, kid activities, vendors selling local goods (knits, clothing, baked goods, soaps, popcorn, honey, etc.), and a haunted maze for $2 admissions within the grounds. Some of the activities require additional cost (like the pumpkin painting for the kids). They have chickens roaming around the property (they usually stay near their little chicken coop in the far back). The free hayride was fun, just a little ride around their property- nothing spectacular.
