Ronnie is an excellent technician. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful. The Sears Home Service Center experience, however, was not pleasant. I was rescheduled for 9 days through the online mess and was never notified until the end of the day that my technician could not make the appointments. On the 10th day, I finally got in touch with a "person" named Rain, phone number called 800-552-4364, and she explained I would receive a $200 gift card and she needed my bank account info to get a confirmation number for her to then transfer my call to the head department to help me because they were having phone problems. After much disagreeing with her that my bank account info was not needed by her and I refused to give her this info, and eventually she hung up. Thank God that Ronnie showed up, not a Bot, and fixed my washer. Ronnie is an asset to Sears! Sears Home Services is a joke. The great 5 star rating was for Ronnie, and 1 star for Sears. read more

Dan is incredible. He has tried his hardest to get this lemon of a microwave fixed for us. He's always shown up at a decent time. I feel like he's done his best to maintain the correct schedule. The parts have always been in place that he is ordered. Everything about. Dan is fantastic. The only problem is this microwave that GE keeps wanting to dump more money in and not replace. I have a Samsung washer that I've been trying to get repaired since 9/8/23. They thought the excessive vibration on spin and wash was the shock absorbers. They were replaced but at the end of September, it was vibrating (like rocks in the tub) worse. In October they came to check it again and determined that a specific part was needed. It was ordered but after a couple of weeks I called and found that part was not available. They had no explanation of why they didn't inform when they got that information. They then told my issue would be sent to an "Authorization for Research" team. I didn't hear back so I called a third time in December and was given an ID# sccr8384c1ec-2. When again they didn't call me, I called the number for "Authorization for Research" team and the number was not in use. Tuesday I called and I told them that I would seek legal remedies, contact NC Attorney General and Insurance Commissioner, and "blast" them on any sites that they used. I've called the warranty phone and was promised 5 times they would call me in 24-72 hours. Five times they didn't call. BBB has claim. Dryer is still not working properly. It keeps adding drying time and will NOT AUTOSTOP. WILL CAUSE A FIRE. Moisture sensors were replaced last Thursday 03/07/2024, and are not working. I will attach pictures. please note time picture taken and time left to dry. The time keeps increasing as time goes on. The dryer will NEVER stop on its own. NEW Moisture sensors must NOT be properly installed. Dryer will not auto-stop in moisture sensing modes where it used to stop. You are forced to open the door to stop the dryer. Preston came out to fix a continuing problem with the refrigerator leaking. We had a previous call last year that was not successfully resolved as the problem. He figured out why the problem and cleared the blockage in the P trap drain. Really confident the problem has been resolved instead of just melting the ice like last time. read more

Today was the FOURTH day I have had to stick around my house because your window is a ridiculous nine hour window. The first appointment I had, the technician called at almost 6 PM to tell me he was 20 minutes away. I said NOT today, reschedule. The 2nd appointment, technician came and diagnosed the problem. Had to wait a week for parts. Third appointment, I got a text at 5:20 pm that the technician had been here and I was not home. INCORRECT. I was here all day and the technician NEVER came to my house. My RING doorbell can verify that. 4th appointment, the technician showed up at 4:30 pm, attempted to install the drive motor that had been sent to my house only to discover that the wiring harness had been burnt up whe. The motor crapped out. Yes folks, that means ANOTHER week to wait on parts and another day of sitting around waiting for the technician to come install more parts. To say I am absolutely infuriated and disgusted with Sears Home Services is an understatement. Ronnie has been great, but Sears scheduling leaves A LOT to be desired. read more
