Rodney was great. He showed up on time to check out our dishwasher. He asked a few questions to make sure he understood the problems we were experiencing. He walked us through what we needed to do in layman's terms and had additional suggestions. While he had to make a second appointment to ensure he had the right parts, he did it as soon as possible. On the second visit, he quickly repaired and tested the dishwasher. He made sure to clean up after himself too. He also made sure we were aware of our financial obligations with the warranty plan, which was minimal. I would definitely recommend Rodney and Sears Appliance Repair. read more

If I could rate this company lower I would. They have installed an AI system to manage all client interactions. In other words there is no capability to speak with a human. There is no manager for the technicians and no one monitoring the schedule for errors. In other words - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. The AI bot took my address wrong for the first appointment. I was sent an email message my appointment was canceled. I rescheduled for 5 days later - soonest appointment. Waited all day for the technician only to find out he was out sick and my appointment was canceled. Why didn't I know, because the phone number was wrong again! I'm glad they have a new system. I had a fridge that wasn't cooling. Luckily it was under warranty. Repair guy assessed, ordered parts and replaced. Albeit, took 4 visits by 3 different repairmen. Parts were delivered to me by UPS. I was patient. Repar Guys were professional. Scheduling hiccups was the problem. read more

The technician, Timothy S., ID 0852459, was excellent. He diagnosed the issue and provided great advice. Very disappointed with how Sears Home Services managed my appointment. It took two appointments for a technician to finally get to my home. It was one month from my original request. Sears Home Service cancelled my first appointment be cause they over booked their technician. It then took another two weeks to get the next appointment. Meanwhile, Sear would call me 3 times a day everyday to up sell me a new refrigerator or maintenance plan. Crazy thing, they had not even looked at my existing refrigerator yet. read more

Diagnosing a dishwasher that is leaking. I did not like the technician's attitude from the very beginning. When he arrived, he did not introduce himself. I tried to tell him what was wrong and assist him by giving him a bowl to put underneath where it was leaning so that my floor wouldn't get all wet. I said do you see where it's leaking? He gave me an attitude that he couldn't see the leak because I gave him a bowl. That is not true because I've used a bowl that was taller to catch the water and I could clearly see where it was leaking! After that, I got away from him and went into my living room. When he was finished diagnosing, he showed me how much it was going to cost. I had my husband on the phone and he was talking to the technician trying to figure out how he could pay this or what needed to be paid, but the technician again had an attitude with my husband. The technician was irritated and said: "What do you want to do, sounds like you just want to discuss the amount." So in all, the technician was not a customer friendly person that I expected from Sears! I've worked with quite a few technicians from Sears and they were all very friendly and professional. read more

Well for starters the part actually came in early and so that moved up my repair date so instead of coming on November 26th they came out November 20th but November 20th that got canceled and they made a new one for December 4th well miraculously they never showed up and said they completed the job and canceled the order so now I have a broken stove and no Sears a&e direct with the warranty to come out and fix my stove now I found out that since they completed the order they also put notations somewhere in the order that my stove is not repairable now my insurance is trying to give me a car to buy a new stove in undervalued stove at that so ask me if I'm really happy!!!!!!! read more

unfortunately, this was not a good experience. first, my appointment was rescheduled 3 times and then when the tech did come, he could not fix the issue. He stated the parts are not available through Sears (It's a Kenmore). He did suggest I shop for the part myself and do a self-repair. Sears still charged me $99 for not being able to help. oh, yeah, then they tried to sell me an appliance warranty for all my appliances for an additional $49 per month. The model and model number for both applicants we requested service for were submitted prior to the technician arriving. no diagnostics were performed that left us with ANYTHING more than what we called and said was wrong. We were charged $240 for absolutely no provided services. I have never had such a poor customer service experience at the cost of a quarter of a grand. read more

Well it seems I spoke too soon. My Heatpump shut down again and now I can't get any one to assist me. And I pay Cinch over $65.00 a month and then $100.00 as a deductible with each call for repair.
