After waiting 2 months for a stove to come in at Lowe's, hearing about the nationwide appliance shortage and covid excuses, I finally got a refund. I walked into the Small store in Ellensburg and met Ray, the new owner. Ray continued his sales pitch and I decided on a stove similar to the one Lowe's couldn't get. I placed the order. I have no idea where to start. Sears Home Appliance Repair is a total rip off. After waiting weeks to get our washing machine repaired they came and supposedly fixed it. As soon as the technician left we used it and it leaked. We called back and were told we had to wait for two weeks to have a technician come again, even though they cause the problem. The day came and we were called and told the technician was sick and that we had to call Sears and reschedule. We did that and were told it would be two more weeks before they could come and repair. I was told that the employee didn't understand the difference between frieght and deliveres and it's not getting delivered today. And that delivery costs money that was not included. This store is terrible. We purchased a duel fuel range back in November. I knew due to Covid it will be delayed.The problem is there is no communication from the store. I had to call every week to get updates. I finally talk to a different store. Their area manager keep me in the loop. I got emails from her daily. I called Ray at Ellensburg yesterday. My range was finally in. He told me he would deliver it yesterday. No show, no call, no range. I called this morning and talk with someone in the store. She said Ray was out on deliveries and would call me before he showed up. Well, he did come with the range. No call before he got here and oh yeah it did not come with a power cord and the one we have from our old range will not work. If I could go the. 0 stars I would. The phone is always busy. Extremely frustrating when trying to confirm a delivery and to actually speak to a real person regarding an issue with the appliance we bought from them. My husband and I have tried calling once they open and all day long a couple times an hour and always is just a busy tone. Will never purchase another item from this store. The fact that they are removing reviews from Google that are actually truthful is comical. My mother in law has been battling this staff for over three months because of an appliance she purchased was already damaged upon receiving it. Given multiple dates of it going to be exchanged and replaced, and yet that never happened. Now there's a big story on how all your staff was fired?? I ordered a washer and dryer through Home Depot, they were supposed to be delivered 3 days after i ordered them, a week later i still didnt have them. I had moved so i my laundry was piling up. I called Sears and asked how late they were open and they would have closed before i got there but they said they would wait for us. We found a great set and they were cheaper than Home Depot and they had them there so we got to take them home. Very friendly staff, great selection we bought a weed eater and blower too since we got such a great deal. We'll definitely make this our go to store! read more

My husband and I bought a NordicTrack Treadmill here in November 2014. We live in the Tri Cities, but have heard through the grapevine that the owner of this store is big on customer satisfaction and will work with customers to get them the best deal possible. Sure enough, the store owner was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us while we were making our decision. We first spoke on the phone (we requested to speak with the owner specifically) and he helped us pick a treadmill that best suited our needs. He told us which brands to avoid and gave recommendations on models that had very high customer satisfaction. After we made our decision, he gave us an estimate well below MSRP so we went ahead and ordered it. It didn't take long for it to arrive after ordering it and we picked it up right away. This treadmill has seen 50+ miles a week for 1.5 years and is still going strong. The only problem was that one of the built in fans stopped working, but we could have had it fixed while it was still under warranty through Nordictrack if we hadn't been too lazy to arrange for it. Obviously, it doesn't bother us that much. We will definitely shop here next time we are in the market for an appliance or another treadmill. I would definitely recommend this store. You don't get this level of customer service from larger stores. read more

as for sears in general in my opinion of years and years of buying a variety of merchandise from this chain this store's performance and customer service has been for the birds thus far. I have went in on 3 seperate occasions with 3 different minute issues, the first being a throttle cable for a roto tiller that the employee told me they did not stock and could not order in. The 2nd issue was a jackshaft assembly for an older model Craftsman mower of which I was told the same and was told the same for the blades for this particular mower. On my 3rd visit I was looking for the "wooddruff" pin that holds the blade adapter on the mowing deck and this was not a stocked item either, while there I noticed a weed trimmer on sale and the manager/owner of the store informed me it was a return that a customer had brought back and decided that they did not want the 2cycle model and instead purchased the 4 cycle model. He insisted that there was nothing wrong with the trimmer and had used it around the premises though he said this was not company policy but he chose to do so anyways. Well I got the trimmer home and got it all gassed up and ready to go or so I thought. the machine started right up but the head did not turn as I was told it performed like "new". This is the straw that broke the camel's back in this case. I have yet to go back into the store and once I return this item and stop the order of the tiller tine attachment that they ordered in for me, but wait I thought they couldn't special order things. How much deception is really going on here once they have your money...guess I'm gonna find out and I am forwarding a copy of this blog to the corporate offices of sears.
