Grub-mate has days when walking is tough, and doubling the walk-to distance can be a real issue. Still, I insisted on Ace, rather than driving to their competitor, because of the convenience factor (big box stores often require a hike!). Too bad the electrical DIY items were outta stock, making my stop both aggravating and pointless. Note to Ace: Handicap Parking for the HANDICAPPED, not hot dog stands (it's the Law). As far as the inventory issues go, it's a 'pass': Everyone has these issues, now that our world is awakened from the COVID Slumber.

I live in Los Angeles, and I was unhappy with an old down comforter I had gotten from ikea 20 years ago and ready to upgrade. I started simply--ordering down duvets from Amazon, and I was deeply disappointed with what arrived. So I went on a "princess and the pea" perfect-fit comforter-seeking mission for the next month, and I honestly ordered at least 12 comforters from all around the world--including from major brands like L.L. Bean and Parachute. After seeing how much the quality has gone down in the last 20 years since searching for a comforter, I decided I was willing to pay any price for the best down comforter I could find. When I ordered the "arctic" duvet from Dewoolfson, they reached out to me because they noticed that I am in Los Angeles, and they let me know that they believed I would be too hot under that weight of down. I was skeptical because all of the other duvets that arrived to my house were surprisingly under-stuffed, but they suggested I speak to their customer service rep Catherine, who was an absolute dream. Catherine spoke to me for about 30 minutes to help me choose the perfect fit for me--and when the comforter arrived, it was literally 10x more fluffy and high quality than any of the other comforters I received from all over the world. I have needed to do more customer service dialing it in with them, and Catherine has continued to be kind, available, helpful, positive, gentle, and attuned. I don't know if the company broadcasts this, but their owner has created a new technology that sorts feathers in a new way--and it is highly apparent just how different the quality is. AND--the price is so fair based on the quality. I cannot recommend the quality and the customer service from this wonderful independently owned company enough!
