Paul did a great job with our central vacuum system installation. We were very happy with his responsiveness and customer service!

He was unable to find anything wrong with the dryer itself but said I was only getting 120V instead of 240V. He suggested I call an electrician. The electrician found that the dryer's electrical receptacle was fried. However, the dryer's plug was also bad. The metal prongs were black. I don't understand why the Mr. Appliance tech didn't see that. In the end he was right, but I feel he missed a big thing.

He then couldn't fix it so he shoved the ice maker back into it's cubby, unplugged, crooked, and with a screw missing. I called to get that fixed, so he came out and put the ice maker back together like he should've done when he was here the first time. But, ice maker still not fixed, so he says we need to order a part for $265. This after I've already paid $175 for him to come break my refrigerator the first time. Ok, part arrives, he installs it, and of course, it doesn't work. He wanted to order another part for me to pay for, but I declined to pay for that. Am I supposed to just keep paying for parts until this untrained technician lands on one that works? I hear nothing for a few weeks so i called to see what happened. They say they'll look at my account and call me back. A week later, after no call back, I call again. Get the same answer but this time I actually got a call back telling me that "due to the service profile, we can no longer service that refrigerator". I then asked for a refund, considering I paid this scam company $440 to fix my ice maker and it's in worse condition then before. Nope, no refund, no working ice maker. I'm trying to do a charge back with my credit card company now

Mark at Mountain Top is honest, knowledgable, reasonable, and Covid-safe. Highly recommend!…read more When my fridge died and my home warranty service wanted to send a repair company that had a no-mask policy, I decided to go out-of-network to find someone who would wear a mask in my home. I turned to Yelp, and found Mountain Top. Mark was able to fit me in within a day and a half and he confirmed that he would wear a mask while working on the appliance. He and another gentleman came, were quick but thorough, explained the issue, and even did a final diagnosis for me to provide my home warranty company. Although I paid out-of-pocket for the service rather than going with someone in-network, the total price was reasonable and I was happy to have someone be able to tell me right then and there what the issue was and what to do if it happened again. I hope we don't have any other appliances kick the bucket anytime soon, but I'd call these guys before anyone else.

I should have known better; Mark came and requested payment up front for a control panel ($260) plus labor. We paid him $390. The problem was not solved, so Mark suggested another part, a water valve, for which we paid an additional $118. That did not work. Giving up, we bought a new washer. Mark retrieved his new parts; the total parts refund we were due was $378. I pursued Mark by telephone and emails. He assured me that he was "waiting for a box the right size to send the controls back to the manufacturer" and I would have a check in a week. I wrote two emails to him to follow up. Crickets. It is now August of 2026.
