It ocuured two days before Christmas. I called Billywoods and John answered the phone. To make a long story short, John volunteered to come out to my home in a cold rain storm and he solved my immediate problem of getting the door open to remove food that was inside. He also set up for an appliance maintenance company to order the broken part and to come to my home to repair the microwave. That is real customer service!!!!

I was in a hurry and needed a reasonably priced fishing pole, and I needed it set up for me. Boy did he come through for me. He showed me the perfect fishing pole for my use and budget, he also attached the sinker and hook and showed me exactly what I needed to purchase, took total 15 minutes and I was on the dock on St. Helena Island casting my line. I wish I would have gotten this young man's name; he was amazing beyond words can say. Now that is customer service!

After almost a year back and forth them sending part after part after part it still doesn't work correctly. We've spent 40+ hours taking it apart then back together then apart etc.. They refuse to send anyone and refuse to replace the thing. So much for that fabulous warranty. Be ready to spend countless hours on the phone, emails and hope your mechanically inclined. I told them today I'm done, too long too much time & effort spent already. This is absolutely ridiculous. All the smokers I've had i was excited to get this til it came warranty time. I would NEVER recommend this company or their products to anyone. I've used the same pellets in all my smokers without issue. If this was a car or an appliance would I have to be the mechanic? STEER CLEAR of this company. Should they actually be a stand up company and either have someone come fix it or replace it ill happily remove this and update everyone. Not holding my breath.
