The Seastreak Cruise offers a peaceful escape with stunning Hudson River views. The two-hour ride showcases landmarks like the Palisades and West Point. Enjoy snacks, drinks from the bar, and relax indoors or on the open deck. Cold Spring's charming, walkable town is perfect for exploring cafes, shops, and nearby trails. A beautiful, stress-free day trip--highly recommended!

What a wonderful day we had taking the Seastreak out of highlands to Cold Spring NY The boat was clean, comfortable seating inside and outside. A bar where they sold refreshments all day. A guided tour up the Hudson by a very knowledgeable young lady I read many complaints on line about this particular trip and they were all unfounded The windows are too dirty to see anything. They are cleaned before departure in NJ but you're out in the ocean and they will get dirty Speakers not working? All speakers were new and worked perfectly My one and only issue is it didn't leave on time. About 30 min standing after we were told to get on line with no explanation. Otherwise a wonderful day trip In gorgeous weather I would do it again in a heartbeat

    Speaker sucks!!!!

Speaker system SUCKS and so does the narrator!!!! Decided to take trip and see the fall foliage. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!!! What started as a beautiful quiet ride on the river became a nightmare when we landed in NY to pick up passengers and "NARRATOR" . his talking is annoying because the system is awful!!! Can't understand what he is saying, constant breaking up and squeeling. Definitely not enjoying and may ask for my money back.

This is for the Fall Foliage Tour of the Hudson with Seastreak Ferries. After being herded onboard like cattle to this COVID party, we spent the first two hours struggling to listen to the tour guide with a broken microphone even though we were only a handful of rows away. At this price - $170 for two tickets!!!! - I thought I was getting something more sophisticated than a 4-hour bus ride on water. Filthy windows made it impossible to get a decent photo of the views. One bartender, mask wearing unenforced... a total and complete scam. My bs radar is usually on point, and I blame myself for not doing more research before purchase. But wow. What was meant to be a special occasion turned into a desperate wait to get back on land.

If you ever find yourself needing to commute from Monmouth County, NJ to NYC then Seastreak Ferry is the quickest and most relible way to do so. You'll also be able to enjoy a view of the beautiful NYC skyline from the ferry's rooftop seating. After years of growing up taking the NJ transit which we all know can be pretty unreliable or often delayed, I switched over to Seastreak about 12 years ago and there's been no looking back. It's a quick 50-60 minute ride with stops in Atlantic Highlands, NJ and Highlands, NJ as well as Wall Street and Midtown in Manhattan. In the summer months they also add an additional stop at Sandy Hook in NJ for those interested in taking a day trip to the beach from the city. The Seastreak staff are always pleasant and they serve coffee, snacks, and alcoholic beverages which are perfect for after work commutes when you've had long days at the office. They offer variety of ticket options including 40 day book passes, 10 day passes, round trips and single rides to cater to all different travelers. Another added benefit is that service pets are welcome aboard so feel free to bring your fur friends along with you for the ride. The next time you need to travel from Manhattan to Monmouth County, NJ I highly recommend Seastreak - you won't regret it.

They should rename from Seastreak to Seasick! We took the Whale Watching cruise. About an hour into ride, the boat became a roller coaster. I wish I was joking when I said about half the passengers became sick -- most vomiting repeatedly!! The two crew members worked vigorously in cleaning up vomit, passing out bags and paper towels, etc. If i could rate them alone, they would receive five stars. I felt like I was in a bad comedy or horror flick. We were circled by people vomiting and the circle got smaller and smaller until our group was infected. LOL We never saw any whales, although, they did try, which is why I gave two stars instead of one. We saw plenty of dolphins. Apparently, they used different sized boats. My relative went on cruise previous week on a bigger boat, and no one was vomiting. I hope they never use this boat again for a long journey.

    Shuttle with no driver

Friday is the biggest mess shuttles to locations when no shuttles exist. So disorganized makes dmv look like a professionally run company. Nj should shut them down

There are six different routes. Ours was the "Astoria Line" which culminates at Wall Street. Before getting off at 34th Street, the boat stopped in Astoria, Roosevelt Island and Long Island City. One can purchase tickets on the app, or through machines located at every depot. I was advised to activate our ticket right before boarding to maximize the free transfer, valid for 120 minutes (which we actually didn't need on this trip.) The one-way fare is $4.50 or $29 for a ten-trip pass. Seniors, and those with disabilities can apply for discounted fares. There's limited seating outside, with more down below. Also, a bar! I was taking…read morethe ferry for a specific event (PokemonGo Fest), so I can't speak to pricing because it was set by the organizers for the weekend. However, I can speak to my experience getting there and the whole line situation from Manhattan to Randall's Island, and the return trip back. Coming from Jersey, I had walked crosstown from NY Penn Station to the terminal on 35th Street (easier to cross the intersection here). Because there was an event, there was clear signage for where to go and people at the line entrance waiting to scan QR codes. The rides are first-come, first-serve. So as each ferry comes in and passengers onboard disembark, the vessel is checked and then the line moves and people embark. The crew watch and assist when people walk onboard and count how many are getting on the ship. There were people who needed different accommodations - for wheelchairs, strollers, etc. The line on Randall's Island to get back to Manhattan was a little confusing. There wasn't obvious signage. You can see from the park paths where people are walking into the park from the Ferry, but it's not obvious where the line begins to get onto the ferry that's leaving. The entrance is further away. The ride on the water was smooth and I'd say it took about 10 minutes. Amazing views of Manhattan and Brooklyn. If you've never taken one of the ferries on the East River, I recommend taking a ferry at least once to see what it's like if you ever can.

I was then made to wait until everyone else had boarded. If all boarding lanes are not accessible, there should be a clear and fair process for wheelchairs and strollers. People with no other option shouldn't be treated as if they're doing something wrong or made to wait last just because there is no clear accessible boarding system in place.

We observed what seems like a playground for mischief on the day we found the damage -- groups of kids on bicycles, and even motorcycles (without license plates) cruising around the garage. Some seemed to check out the place and park for free. Cars also were observed to be speeding around the garage. Our weekend calls to both the ferry company and Littleman parking office were not staffed, so there was no way to easily reach anyone in an emergency. Just voicemail. We reached the office manager on Monday 9/23/24 who said no liability (read contract) and she will review tapes. We also called the supervisor (Carlos, 201-217-1683) to talk about our observations and concerns -- and the damage to the car. We left a message for Carlos with our number for him to call back about the damage. Days went by and we didn't get a call back. So we called the main NJ office again a week later (9/30/24). We spoke to the person who answered and told him we didn't hear back. He said he would contact Carlos and have him call us. Again no reply from the supposed, "supervisor" Carlos or anyone. It's been two weeks since we tried to reach him. There has also been no word about the result of the office review of the tapes by the garage salesperson who works Monday - Friday. She did offer to let us go through the tapes ourself. But that is not easy mid week and they should be doing it and reporting back. Again it's been several weeks and nothing. No word. No supervisor. The car itself was parked in clear view of a camera, although the date of the vandalism is not known since the garage never even observed the damage before we contacted them. The damage was only observed by us when attempting to retrieve the car. It seems they take no responsibility and don't even want to discuss our security concerns. This is very disappointing and very lacking in security and seriousness. The garage is dimly lit and feels neglected. The lack of concern by Little Man is very noteworthy. Of course they should take responsibility for the issues at the garage. But they have not demonstrated responsible behavior or addressed the seriousness of the issue, which seems systemic.

Aaah yes, taking the ferry home on a Friday that also happens to be a prematurely warm and sunny not-quite-spring day. The ferry is too expensive to be a part of my daily commute. Comparing the $5.50 ride from World Financial Center to Jersey City (Paulus Hook) with the $1.75 PATH ride between World Trade Center and Exchange Place, you can see why the ferry is the Rich Man's PATH. Or, the poor man's cruise ship. Even the ferry terminal at World Financial Center is luxurious, at least compared to a PATH station. It's floating, and has a little balcony on the water where you can soak up that precious March sun while you wait for your ship to come in. It even had a nice clean bathroom, if you can handle the motion of the ocean. The PATH can't compare. The ferry ride takes about the same amount of time as the PATH ride (7 minutes from WFC to Paulus Hook). But unlike the five minutes you'll spend on the PATH, you can feel the salty wind in your hair, and the sun on your face, unless of course you get the boat where the upper level has been enclosed. But, still, you can pretend your itinerary takes you to somewhere more exotic than your average PATH stop... maybe Venice. A tourist you're not, but remember that some people travel far and wait a lifetime to glimpse these sights... the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Colgate clock, the tallest building in New Jersey, the tallest building in New York, cruise ships and tall sailing ships, all that and you can be home in time for dinner.

We saved ALOT of money heading back from Dumbo/Brooklyn and enjoying the historical views from the Hudson Bay. No pricey tour needed.- Super easy yet slightly complicated since travelers like me have to do intensive dentistry work pulling out all the stops to book the right ferry. Although it might sound difficult, once you get the hang of it. Not that hard. Becomes easy. Start off by downloading the NYC FERRY app to book your tickets. You get like 90 days to utilize your tickets. So don't stress! Also for reference go on their website and utilize the map with all the pick/drop times and locations. Eventually applying that elbow grease to your thumbs and using your noggin you should be able to put two together. Life is not that hard. Once you have booked your ferry trip to and from where you are headed, it becomes a breeze. That's when you can enjoy the fruits of your labor. Also the ferry picks up every 10-15 minutes so don't stress. You can make it on time! And save yourself from paying 30-60 dollars on a ride share app. $4.50 one way $1.45 for senior discount 65 or older And any child under 44 inches FREE! So now you know what you're doing, booking all the spots you want to head in and out of. I took dumbo to pier 11 with ease, no issues, no hassles, and no one lied to me. Cause I did all my homework. And for anyone complaining, the ticket checkers out front, sales people, captain and anyone else who was working with the NYC ferry system was professional through the entire process. Just an fyi they are watching everyone, no freebies, no one getting on without a ticket and if you do attempt they will stop you, but we're human and things happen. Plus plenty of NYPD in the area observing so if you need help finding a ticket stand or entry way they are more than glad to guide you. So enjoy the beautiful views of the Hudson Bay while you travel the NYC FERRY system. Remember it's a short ride but worth every dollar. So many tours selling tickets for 30-90 dollars just to cross the Hudson Bay with commentary. You can bypass the commentary and save 2-4 hours of your day with the same views you expect just by crossing from Brooklyn to downtown Manhattan. Dumbo to Pier 11. Like 3-5 minutes. Photo ops over!
