Fantastic experience with quality work and outstanding customer service. After obtaining three quotes, I went with Russ (the owner) at Seattle Construction to install new gutters and downspouts on my mom's house. Now that the work is completed on time and on budget, my mom and I am 100% satisfied and would highly recommend Seattle Construction to others. Let me explain the key elements of what separated Settle Construction from the other companies and their quotes. First, Seattle Construction was the only quote to fully recognize that the scope of the gutter problem was not only gutters but also included the roof flashing that connects to the gutters. The two other quotes I obtained were from straight up Gutter companies, and when I mentioned the flashing issue they did not seem to treat it as seriously or seem to want to do that work. I am not a gutter expert, but my conclusion was Seattle Construction was more interested in solving the problem - not just hanging new gutters. Secondly, the quote and agreement from Russ was the only quote that was a full PDF document including terms and conditions with all of the work details spelled out. The other quotes were simple forms without the details provided upfront. Next, communication and customer service was above and beyond my highest expectations. Russ understood that he had two customers (me and my mom) who had a different set of needs throughout the entire process. Russ took a fair amount of extra time and patience to fully address and satisfy all of my moms questions and concerns. The SC foreman and crew that came out were polite, efficient, and provided top quality work. The follow up inspection by me and Russ identified a few minor punch list items that were both quickly and completely addressed - in other words I could tell Russ was focused on 100% customer satisfaction and he understood that strong follow up and communication was vital to obtaining 100% customer satisfaction. read more

I have to say Seattle Windows and Construction treated my family and property with the utmost respect and kept my property neat and clean during the entire window project. I was referred to Seattle Windows by a friend who used them last year and loved them, so I got a bid from them and I could not been happier! Here is how the bid process went down. We received 4 bids and Seattle Windows came in with the best price, by quite a bit. Washington Energy Service $12,980 (highest bid, but they were referred to me by a colleague and seemed to have good quality windows and a not so pushy salesman) Champion Windows $11,180.00 (The salesman was a to pushy for our taste and it took them forever to leave our house, actually 2.5 hours) Procraft Windows $10,750 (original price was over $13k but if signed up that night they will give me a discount... hahaha) Why I selected Seattle Windows: When Bob Cole (the project manger) gave me the bid, I was very happy to see the price was so affordable. During his pitch, he shared with me how they have formed a partnership with their window and siding manufacture, so the window manufacture actually installed the windows for them. I have NEVER heard of this and none of the other companies offered that type of service to me! After doing my research on the window manufacture, they turned out to be a billion dollar company and is the 2nd largest window manufacture in the USA. I can't say enough good things about Seattle Construction and Russ. I recently bought my house and wanted two gates installed. I contacted several other companies for estimates at first. Of the scant few that would return my calls and emails, I received condescending explanations that my job was too small, scheduled estimate appointments for weeks in the future at inconvenient times, or estimates that seemed high and unclear. Russ returned my inquiry right away and was able to give me an estimate within a few days. The estimate was very reasonable and clearly spelled out. I met with him again to talk through exactly what I wanted and where I wanted the gates placed. Not only was he polite and courteous but he explained what he planned to do and why, which I found very helpful. Seattle Construction and Russ Oja (the owner) are fantastic. We had a break in at our home around the holidays and it was determined that the burglars gained access to our back yard over a dilapidated old fence. I wanted to get it replaced as soon as possible for my family's peace of mind. I emailed Seattle Construction at night and immediately received a response from Russ. Despite their packed holiday schedule, Russ showed up the next morning to give me an estimate. Just a short week later his crew was there to put up the 75ft long, 6' tall cedar fence. They finished ahead of schedule and the finished product was perfect. Their price was very reasonable as well. To top things off, there was another corner of our yard that had a damaged fence and they took care of that at the same time for a very small additional charge! WOW!! 5 years ago we had Seattle Construction do our roof and we were impressed. Now, we just had them do our exterior painting and we continue to be impressed!! Seattle Windows is the best window replacement service I've found. They completed the process in only a day after the initial visit to give me a quote. They updated my dad's living room and my old room with new windows in early August because he didn't really want to go through another winter with drafty, old windows. We had a good experience with this company because they were quick and good quality. My dad talked to a few other companies that I found on Google, but they weren't able to match the price of Seattle Windows. My dad got to talk to the owner because he came to ensure the quality during the process. It's nice to see a company with an owner that takes the time to ensure everyone's doing their jobs. Found out through a friend that they were finally on Yelp, so I'm reviewing, albeit a bit late. I had a good experience with this company, I even got to talk to the owner. It's nice to see a company with an owner that takes the time for its customers. They updated our house with new windows in late August, when the weather was nice. I didn't really want to go through another winter season with leaky windows and it was a good choice to get the job done. They're cheaper than a lot of the other bids I got for the job, but feel free to shop around, I talked to a few other companies that I found on Google, but they weren't able to match the price of Seattle Windows. Russ, the owner, was so professional and showed up when he said he would. That is a big plus in the contractor world! He even came back a second time to bring the guy out that was going to do the work to make sure it was possible and the right price. We have a steel roof, so a lot of people won't clean it. They showed up on time. They cleaned the roof, gutters and all my decks and did a fantastic job. There price was very fair and a lot less than some other bids I got. They cleaned everything up.
