My reservation was to be picked up at 10:30 on May 17th. We got an email on the 16th saying it would be 11:00. Fine. I called at 11:15 and was told the shuttle was running late, but would arrive in 15 minutes. At 11:45 another customer at our hotel called and was told the shuttle broke down. They were told there was no timeframe for a replacement, if there even would be one. I'm furious. We never got a text, email, or call that we were out of luck. This is unacceptable. read more

Then the driver took people to the airport first and got distracted by someone needing help with the tailgate on his bus. While he was away from the bus 2 people got on that weren't supposed to be there. So when we got to the first hotel he was distracted again. He abandoned the bus for so long one if our fellow passengers went to look for him. Finally as he's pulling away a guy said that's my wife's bag on the curb! It had been in back when he unloaded someone else's! The he took us to our hotel and dropped us way at the back so we struggled with all our bags to find the front desk. And when he unloaded our bags he tried to give us someone else's too. Overall very poor service and I will tell everyone not to us this company. read more

Seattle Express return from cruise is HORRID....book a one way to port then find your own way back, trust me!! If i could leave ZERO STARS i would. Very unorganized once arriving to port for boarding. There is no system, no lines, no time stamps, and no staright forward answers from the personnel. One guy was VERY RUDE when we started complaining after waiting over 45 min for a shuttle to the advertised hotels, telling me "talking loud doesnt matter because youre still in line arent you."Then when i took his picture because he was rude and wouldnt give his name he took a photo of me in return. No apologies....and even after standing another 40 min with NO SHUTTLES IN SIGHT, they were still rude and offered no apologies. Terrible customer service when we called who started "i dont even know what you expect me to do". Will never use this service again! Zero out of ten, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! We purchased shuttle from hotel to cruise port and the port to airport. I suppose they contract with other shuttles because the shuttle from hotel was a large van with no logo and the bus to airport was a large bus, but no logo. A bit confusing! Regardless, our rides were good. Minimul waiting time at cruiseport at 7:30 am to go to airport. Only issue is that they only dropped at one spot in middle of terminals at departures area. We had to haul our luggage a ways to the airline counter. I do not see this note anywhere on the ticket or website. I am used to airport shuttles asking us which airline and dropping us of there. We also took the free shuttle (again generic shuttle no logo) from our hotel to the mall and the driver was friendly and accomodating with plenty of recommendations for restaurants to try. read more

Recently, while in town for business, I decided to take their mall shuttle to get some dinner. Their driver was absolutely horrific. He was rude, angry and condescending. Not only did he smell of cigars, and I am allergic, when I gave him a five dollar bill and asked for a little bit of change, he told me I could keep it because obviously I needed it more than he did!?!? I was surprised by that behavior and when I asked about the final pickup time, he told all of us that we have to take ubers. He would not come back if he was full. Or even if he wasn't. Very affordable and friendly shuttle service! Seattle Express offers transport from airport to cruise terminal or from partner hotel to cruise terminal. $15+fee per person one way. Very easy to book online and timely pick up. Our cruise transfer driver Elvis was very fun and shared trivia about Seattle landmarks as we passed them on our way to the cruise terminal. We also used their free mall shuttle from our hotel which was convenient. Heidi, the driver, was super friendly. Highly recommend this company. We waited in line for 30 mins while others just passed us to get ahead and board the shuttle. The drive was nice, but we significantly understaffed for 2 cruise ships. We had a line of over 100 waiting for shuttles and only 1 departed in that 30 min window. We ended up eating the cost and getting an Uber. Don't recommend this option at all. read more

Date: 5/31/2022 & 6/7/2022 Service: 4 On the trip to the cruise ship terminal (Pier 91) from the hotel, the driver was on time to pick us up, and was extremely friendly and talkative. He provided some expert commentary on the various sights along the way, including The Needle, and even drove slower to give us a chance to take pics. The trip took about 30 minutes to get there and was very smooth and enjoyable... 5 stars! On the trip back from Pier 91 to the airport, the driver was waiting and loaded all the luggage for a full van. The ride was more somber than the other trip with a very quiet driver who just did the job. The trip was your typical average van ride and was smooth... 3 stars. Our pick up was scheduled at 11:45 AM we entered the lobby at 11:35 (being generous, more like 11:32) only to find out after having to call to see where our ride was that they had supposedly already been there at 11:30 am (15 minutes before our scheduled pick up time) and then already left. Leaving us not only stranded but having to look for other options. This is the worst shuttle experience I have ever had. When I called they gave an excuse of having to pick up over 500 people today. We are here for a cruise, I'm sure there is a high volume but we are now hoping just not to miss the entire trip after spending thousands to get here only to have this terrible company leave us stranded at the hotel. Sometimes you just have to Seattle down, but after coming to Seattle for my first ever trip (and second, and third) on the Seattle Express, I decided not to Seattle in Seattle. Not yet, anyway. The Seattle Express is pretty awesome, useful, speedy by US Bus standards, and I first used it forever ago. Let me tell you the story. Of course it's Greyhound operated. I was a little 18 year old baby when I first came to Seattle Greyhound station. I was coming to visit the most beautiful Italian American goddess (hi L), she was taller than me and so tanned and so perfect. She had recently gotten out of a bad relationship and unfortunately after our relationship she would get back into the bad relationship as far as I know, but for those few weeks we were free and wild and very different. It felt so nice to be loved and it felt so nice to be with such a beautiful woman (10 years my senior) in such a beautiful lush green unspoiled and amazing part of the world. I'll never forget it. That all started at this Greyhound station. The Greyhound station itself had some shady characters as you can imagine, but it was right in the middle of the heart of everything in Seattle, which to this day remains one of my favourite cities. I used the main Greyhound here and then the Seattle Express service on several occasions too. Run by the same company, and may still be. I'll always love it here and will always come back here whenever I can. I would probably give it a 4-star rating overall, but considering that it means so much in my memories, I have no choice but to give it a 5-star rating. read more

We took the shuttle from the Seatac Sure Stay to Pier 91 then the return to the airport. They were a little early when they picked us up from the lobby and there was a coach waiting when we arrived at their position on the pier when we returned. Going, the friendly driver (I forgot her name) gave us a running commentary on all the sights-to-see from the highway. They are absolutely 100% reliable to get you to/from your cruise. (BTW, for those of you who are not afraid of a little walking, it's a few minutes walk from the airport curb to the light rail station and a few minutes from there to the Sure Stay motel lobby. So even though they don't offer airport pickup curbside it's still an option to get to your cruise.) read more

Beware! We booked with Seattle Express on September 16,2023 to take us to our port from the motel. On the way to the port, the back door to the van came open and we only knew bc cars were honking at us. The driver pulled over, slammed the door, laughed and went on. On arrival to the port, my husbands carry on suitcase was missing bc had fallen out when the door came open. It had our prescription meds, clothes, coat and binoculars among other things. It had made it through 3 different airports and LOST ON THE WAY TO THE PORT OF SAIL!! The driver laughed and thought it was funny. We set sail to Alaska for a week without these valuables and upset a trip of a lifetime. We have asked multiple times for compensation and owner of the company will NOT contact us. We booked a round trip from our hotel to Pier 91 then from Pier 91 to the airport. First leg of our trip went well, driver arrived early and we left promptly. We picked up passengers at a few other hotels and no problems. The driver pointed out landmarks and shared some history. Upon arrival he made sure we knew the procedure for pick up following the cruise. For the second part -from Pier to Airport: our cruise ship docked late and it took along time to disembark. I called Seattle Express as I was concerned we would miss our flight. They already knew and had multiple shuttles waiting. They got us to the airport with time to spare. TL/DR : 5 stars for fantastic customer service We came to Seattle for a cruise, and I figured we'd take an Uber from our airport-area hotel to Terminal 91, but was concerned because there were 4 of us and we had a LOT of luggage, and there was no guarantee an UberXL would have room for everything. (In fact, earlier UberXLs we called just to get around town didn't have enough room.) After searching for alternate transportation online the day before we were to cruise, I found Seattle Express online, and was able to book transportation through the web site for us to the cruise terminal for a reasonable price. The next day, an hour before we were to be picked up for the cruise, I looked at my confirmation email and discovered I picked the incorrect date for the transfer! So now it is last-minute, and I had no transportation. I called Seattle Express and explained my mistake, and they were able to get us on the next bus that was in the area an hour later, with no hassle. At the end of our trip, my post-cruise tour plans with the cruise line fell through, and we needed something to do to kill some time between when we got off the ship, and when we could check into our hotel. I saw that Seattle Express also offered city tours that pick you up from the cruise terminal, drive around the city for 3 hours, and then drop you off at your hotel. Perfect! However by this late date, the website was not showing availability for 4 people for the post-cruise tour. I emailed Seattle Express (since I couldn't call from the ship), and they were able to get us on a tour the next day. Overall, I'm very pleased with the service. read more

I'm not sure it was legal to have more bodies than seats. One guy, who was in his late 20's sat on his Mother's lap. No Joke. I really do not think it was legal to have bags down the isle. We recently booked the Seattle Express Shuttle from the cruise terminal, Smith Cove, to SeaTac. Reservations were quick and easy online. We even got a AAA discount. What is perfect is that they don't even ask you for a departure time. With cruising just starting back up, they are available from 7:00 AM until everyone has disembarked the ship and run every 15 - 20 minutes depending on their bookings. We were pointed to where the shuttle bus was parked and checked in. They already had our names on the list. After waiting a few minutes wait for other passengers, we ended up with a private ride to the airport. Dave was our driver and was very courteous and informative, as well as being a very safe driver. The vans are comfortable, too. I understand they don't pick up at the airport for rides to the cruiseship piers, but they do pick up at SeaTac area hotels. I would use this service again in a heartbeat! We were very pleased with their service. It was a savings over any other transportation option as well. read more

Seattle Express is the most efficient and economical and consistently on-time personal transport service in the greater Seattle area. our Driver , " Dave from Ohio", was prompt , courteous and professional . He pulled into our SeaTac hotel 10 minutes early, and delivered us to the cruise port within 30 minutes. on Return Dave was at the cruise terminal in a designated parking space which meant we didn't have to stand in long lines waiting for an Uber, cab or sone other ground transport. I used Seattle Express to transport my group of nearly 20 from the cruise port to SEA TAC airport. Due to the lateness of our flight, we had nearly 8 hours to kill. Though or original plan was to head straight to the airport, Seattle Express was flexible enough to change our plans by agreeing to transport our group to downtown Seattle so we could enjoy the city; and even offered to hold our luggage in the shuttle since we only had a few pieces. Matt charged us $40 from the port, and $12/person to the airport. Despite the reduction in how many people in my group would actually go to the airport, Matt had no problems with the last minute changes. We had our own private mini-bus. It was clean and comfortable. The driver, Zack, was courteous and punctual. I was extremely happy as I did not have to wait in a mile-long line at the cruise terminal for a taxi. Matt and Seattle Express was at the exact lane he said he would be at with our mini-bus ready to take us into downtown. The service was smooth as could be. read more

They arrived early to our hotel for pickup and were waiting for us at the cruise port when we disembarked our ship. We used them for transportation from cruise terminal to SeaTac embassy suites. For $15 each, I thought well we will take what we get for bus accommodations. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the well kept comfortable bus! What a great value for only $15! Our bus (greyhound) left after us waiting only 5-10 with about 1/5th filled. We were so pleased that we didn't have to wait long or for the bus to fill to get us on our way. Customer service was awesome too, easy directions on finding them on pier, prompt email response. The ladies in the pink shirts at the cruise dock, I think her name was Kathy. And her partner were AWESOME! So much fun. So much energy especially being there so early. So friendly and GREAT customer service. This company has a ton of workers and helpers and the service was so quick!!! However, our bus driver, forget her name but we were in a green bus, the driver seemed to be pissed off. There were kids present along with my own who were very excited to explore Seattle for the first time. As we were taking our bags to the back being helped by some of their helpers, she got very angry that we were going to a hotel, yelling and kind of disrespectful to her coworkers in front of the passengers. It almost made us feel like we should've booked somewhere else even tho this company is supposed to be for hotels as well. We totally get this must be a stressful job some days and we don't know if she was having a bad day or what was going on but it made the end of our trip pretty awkward. It even got so bad that Kathy the lady in pink hopped on the bus after the fact and apologized to all of us. The driver was good once we got on the bus, but my kids were almost to startled to interact. Other then that it was great! Took a one-way from Coast Gateway hotel to pier 91. Shuttle arrived about 23 minutes late for pickup, although an empty shuttle arrived 10 minutes earlier with one passenger for drop off but wasnt going to the pier. Shuttle did just have room for our checked bags but we had to nurse our carry on on our laps since there are no overhead shelves in the shuttle and it was packed. No significant traffic delays, but we were about 30 minutes late for our covid-governed time slot at the pier. Not an outstanding performance but adequate and in fact better than the Holland America check-in. read more

Been meaning to post this for a while: This company's website is not accurate regarding the complimentary mall shuttle. The site lists long list of hotels after the following paragraph: "Our Free Mall Shuttle service operates seven days a week - excluding certain holidays. For complimentary mall shuttle reservations or our current service schedule, please call (206) 571-9588. Reservations should be made at least 15 minutes prior to a scheduled pick up time. Schedules are also available at our partner hotels." However, I call them up after we get into town and they say the don't pick up at our hotel (Ramada Limited Tukwila/Sea-Tec). They also say they close after 6:00pm (we called about 6:30pm). PLEASE UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE WITH SCHEDULES AND LIST YOUR ACTUAL PARTNER HOTELS. We also reserved and received confirmation for transfer to our cruise line for the following day (this was scheduled via website about a month before our trip). After waiting in the lobby as requested and about 5 minutes after our scheduled pick up time, we receive a call from Matt asking which Ramada we are at cause driver cannot find us. Well, driver went to the wrong hotel so we had to wait another 25 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. When it finally arrived, the driver helped us with our bags, but no apology for being late. Horrible experience!!! Booked 5 days in advance for a 5:50 am flight departure. We were promised a 3:50 am pickup. By 4:15am and no sight of the shuttle, I called the business number for trip confirmations only to be placed on hold for 30 minutes. I hung up and this time pressed 1 for new reservations and it was answered after 2 minutes. The dispatcher gave me several lame excuses about a driver calling in sick and being understaffed etc. Well maybe a phone call stating that at 3:50 would have been the professional way to inform customers that their obligations could not be met. As it turned out, we got an Uber and barely got to the airport in time. I will check to see if my credit card was credited when I return home from my trip. I booked this service for a cruise to Alaska on May 4, 2019. They arrived at my hotel exactly at the time promised, handled my luggage entirely and dropped me off a little early. The driver was extremely friendly and chatted about Seattle along the way. Yesterday I was off the ship early, walked out the terminal doors, and they were waiting right there. We waited about 10 minutes for one group to arrive but left when the van was partially filled and went immediately to the airport. I was even able to change to an earlier flight because we arrived so quickly. Would definitely use them again! read more
