We always use ABE for our airport transportation, but this week for the first time, we utilized his town car service for a dinner reservation. What a great experience being picked up at our north Seattle home, and driven to a restaurant in West Seattle during the busy World Cup time. We arrived all relaxed to meet our friends and for the return trip home, there were no worries about driving after enjoying drinks with dinner. We had a party of 14 needing transportation from the Cruise Terminal to Sea-Tac. Abe arranged a town car and van with car seat for our entire party at a competitive price. Although the port area was hectic, Abe kept in communication with me as he entered the pick up spot and we were able to load everyone and our luggage into the vehicles in a short time. Great car service. Great driver. Highly recommend a cruise terminal pick up and ride to the airport. Facile was at the Smith Cove Cruise Port to pick us up just as we were wheeling our bags out. He gave us a great guided tour on our way to the airport pointing our the landmarks as well as some interesting facts about the city. We talked Seahawk football and his volunteer work. ZERO STARS. Freaking scammers. I requested a quote weeks before my trip and they 'confirmed' all via email. They called two hours before the pickup time and CHARGED ME FOR A PORTION OF THE QUOTE because the driver was already on the way. I did not know an email request was an actual reservation. Awful way to do business. I paid the $83 to avoid collections and harassment. Go rot, you jerks. Avoid avoid avoid. The original invoice looked super shady too just FYI. They sent one with a PayPal option, which many of us use, but it seriously looked like a spoof from an offshore site. I asked for a hard copy to be mailed because I was concerned. These guys suck and I didn't even get in one of their cars. Save your money for some place more professional. read more

After checking our rates with vans and uber we decided to pay the little extra for a car service considering our return was late in the evening and our unfamiliarity with Paine Field. We compared a few other services and chose Abe because of his competitive rate and reviews. We booked online about a week in advance of our pickup. We zipped out of the terminal probably 10 minutes after landing but were confused about the pickup location. Because I had updated him about our eta before our flight left I had his number. A quick call to him pointed us in the right direction and he was there waiting. A nice warm car waiting for us on a cold rainy night taking us directly home was the right way to end a quick getaway weekend. Water and candy in the console was a nice touch. We have used this service 3 times taking advantage of the car seats they provide for our two little ones, and every time the service was exceptional. One of these occasions was a pick up at the airport. Our flight arrived about one hour early, and the driver (Abe) checked and arrived to the airport earlier than we had requested, to try to ensure we didn't have to wait. However, everything went wrong in the airport. We had to wait a long time in the airplane to try to get a gate, and immigration/customs had the longest line I have ever seen in an airport. Seatac airport was a complete mess that day. It took us 3.5 hours from landing to get to baggage claim! We texted Abe with updates as we went through each step of the airport mess, and we even said we'd understand if he had to leave. Abe stayed the entire time to ensure we could get home safely and promptly with our kids. Not only that, but he was extremely cordial and understanding about the whole thing, pointing out it was not out fault. This actually affected their scheduling because Abe had another airport pick up later that day, but they managed to honor that appointment as well by allocating another driver. We made sure to compensate Abe for the extra time, but I really cannot imagine any other transportation service handling this situation as well as Abe did. I can't praise this service enough. It's an amazing and reliable way to commute to/from the airport with kids. read more

I chose this car service to transport our group of 5 from Anacortes to an airport area hotel for two reasons, First, because each time I called to make inquiries, an actual person answered the phone. And second, because when they sent me an email with the quote for the ride, it was the final, TOTAL cost of the ride (not including the tip). The other companies that I contacted sent me quotes, and when I asked if it was the total cost, they said informed me that, oh, there was a gas surcharge (they wouldn't have told me about if I hadn't asked). So I appreciated the straightforwardness of Abe Towncar. The ride itself was on time, professional, clean, and comfortable, and the driver drove competently through heavy rush hour traffic. I've used Abe's Towncar service multiple times for cross-town trips for my wife & 1 year old when I'm out of town on business. Each time has gone without a hitch in terms of booking & rides, and they are able to provide a car seat. It's great to have the peace of mind. So they don't just do trips to the airport. But, I've used this service to get to and from SEA and that also great. Yes Uber & Lyft are out there but the cost really isn't that all that is different especially when surge pricing is in effect, and the comfort & pickup convenience is way better. Plus I appreciate a) not hanging around at 5am because the nearest Lyft to my house is 10-15 mins away and b) avoiding the trek over to the SEA rideshare waiting area and waiting for 10 mins plus. I came across Abe when I first moved to Seattle almost four years ago. I'm not sure if it was my realtor, insurance broker, or a friend - but I have faithfully used their service ever since. I've had three different drivers (lived in three different parts of town) and I have been impressed each time by the quality of the cars, service, and professionalism of the team. Where I am originally from, the gentlemen who work in this industry are used to celebrities (athletes, entertainers, business moguls, authors, politicians, etc.) so to be successful they must run a classy business but without pretentiousness. Abe's team feels like they stepped right out of that world. They are as down to earth or as up in the air as you. They are always early, car fully stocked and prepared. They are gentlemen who can carry a conversation if you want that, or leave you alone if not. They always make reasonable time en route. They do not hold conversations on their mobile phones! They use them professionally and then it's back to the peace and quiet. They are flexible with early/late flights. Once they accommodated friends with a last minute airport run from Ballard in a Friday night! They are such warm people.
