Feels weird writing…read morea Yelp review for a place that shouldn't need recommendations when it comes to top notch cancer care for kids. This journey started last year with a Leukemia diagnosis for our youngest child. Words can't even begin to explain the emotional process that our family went through just to understand, "how could this happen to our kid?" The staff here in the oncology and cancer ward were absolutely amazing and helped us through every step of the journey. Parents bring their kids from all over the region to come here for treatment. We are so lucky to have this hospital a short distance away. Countless in-patient weeks with weekly clinic visits had us seeing many days here at the hospital. There are so many amenities such as the family resource center, chapel, child life specialists, physical therapists, etc. that they have every need taken care of while your kid is in the hospital. As of today, we've made it through the toughest two phases of his treatment and are now entering the marathon of the two year maintenance phase. As much as I look forward to never having to go back, I truly appreciate all of the amazing staff here, especially in the oncology wing, who my child and I will miss dearly.

From the moment she walked in to my treatment room, I was struck by her warmth and genuine patience. It felt as though I had known her for years, a testament to her exceptional ability to connect with her patients on a personal level. Having received Botox injections for over a decade In San Francisco, Beverly Hills, NYC and Seattle, I thought I had already discovered the pinnacle of expertise. That was until I met Alison. Her skill and precision in administering injections are unparalleled. Not only did she achieve stunning results with fewer units than I was used to, but she also managed to do so at a more affordable price. This efficiency and effectiveness clearly showcase her deep knowledge and mastery in the field. I also have had friends go to her for micro-needling. They were super enthusiastic about it and said it caused their skin to start doing its own thing by making new cells to make them look younger. By the way, nothing Alison does ever hurts! Not even a little bit. I don't even flinch when she does it because she is so gentle. It's no surprise that Alison excels, given her affiliation with Dr. Baxter, a renowned plastic surgeon whose reputation as one of the best in the US is well-deserved. Alison's remarkable talent and keen eye for detail reflect the high standards set by Dr. Baxter's practice. If you're looking for an aesthetic injector who combines expertise with a personal touch, Alison is the one to see. Her approach has elevated my cosmetic treatments, and I couldn't be happier with the results!

I sought out Tina Huang because I have dental PTSD and was facing another dental procedure. In my…read morefirst appointment, I was debating out loud about whether to pay for individual appointments, or to buy the package, because the difference in cost per appointment was a lot. Seeing me debating, she said if I didn't think it was helping we could just convert from package back to individual appointments. It sounded easy. What ensued was this. I had a good experience with my procedure, and told her so, and told her I'm not sure if the work she did helped but I was willing to entertain that it might have. I planned to continue working with her in the future in case it was part of what was helpful. (There were a lot of factors that could have played into it, including that my new dentist is a truly wonderful person and I felt incredibly safe, and also that for the first time I used Ibuprofen and tylenol the night before and again an hour before my procedure. From subsequent experiences, I have more and more reason to believe this has made a huge impact on my experience of pain during dental procedures.). I asked if we could convert the package back to individual appointments. I also mentioned I was planning on pursuing hyperthermia therapy for Lyme. Here is one excerpt from our email exchange: Tina wrote "I'm not willing to refund you based on email exchanges alone. I know that you had tremendous progress with me, and I have the ability to help you continue to heal. It's very common in my line of work for clients to want to quit once they are on the verge of true transformation. I know this is true for you...it would be unethical for me to let you give up this easily when I know that I can make a huge difference in your health." Here's another excerpt: Tina wrote "I was hoping I could have saved you a ton of money. But you didn't give me the chance to show you what was possible. I"m baffled as to why you didn't give me a chance and decided to fly all the way to Germany for an expensive procedure when you had a far more affordable option. I do have a history of being able to help people when nothing else will." I feel quite comfortable with "out there" therapies on my complex health journey. But any possibility that I would continue working with her in the future was more than tanked by this email exchange. She did not convert my package back to individual appointments; it was a loss to the tune of about $1200. Part of the problem was that her criteria for giving me my money back was if I didn't think it was helping. And the truth is, I don't know if it helped or not, and that's what I told her. I couldn't feel anything when she worked with me, I didn't have a felt sense of whether it was working or not. There was no plan on her part for this scenario, and I think she should have (still should) refund my money. If others get a lot out of seeing her, I'm glad for that. I hope for her healing and prosperity as much as my own. I'm writing this so that others may know that after my two appointments, the "container" changed dramatically. If you decide to work with her, I'd recommend paying as you go rather than buying the package.

In the lobby they offer free water, tea, and coffee. From what I've seen during Covid, the staff wears mask/gloves at all times and the interior overall feels sanitary and well taken care of. They disinfect the rooms between each patient and require everyone to wear a mask. Upon arrival they have patients wash their hands and take their temperatures. The bathroom was very clean with soap, hand sanitizer and lotion available. I even noticed there was plenty of sanitizer across the office for both patients and staff to use. The front desk staff is very nice. They all seem to be enjoying their work and having fun chatting with each other. They even wear fun masks. Dr. Brianna (Firminger) Eickmeyer, ND: I was recommended to Dr. Eickmeyer by my primary care provider, and my first appointment was over 1 hour long. I was blown away by the way she truly listens and remembers even the littlest details. She even remembered the chair that is most comfortable for me in her office and made sure it was ready at every appointment. How thoughtful! She is on top of patient information current and past, paying close enough attention to make connections about my health that I hadn't even noticed. During my first appointment Dr. Eickmeyer and I discussed my medical history, went through current medical concerns and discussed plans for how bowen could improve my quality of life. She has made me feel important, listened to, and understood. She gave me optimism and hope about my overall condition. On top of all that, that she somehow is always in a happy mood with an optimistic attitude. I think it might be because she truly loves her job as a doctor helping people. I recommend Dr. Eickmeyer to anyone looking for a bowen specialist and/or a primary care doctor. She is truly a fantastic doctor who just wants to help her patients feel better.
