You'll have to be reminded sometime that Human error will happen and It's nothing you should take personal. Just bring to the person's attention and let things get straightened out and go back to normal. So this week I've got to stay at one of my favorite Marriott properties. Because of long waits and willing to take the lesser room the check in person at the front desk, Lillian bestowed me on some small parks to make up for my inconvenience. The next day I had to come down to get new keys and that little park was taken away by the gentleman at the front desk, Robert or Roger or whatever his name was. I brought it to the attention of the manager, Tate. I was not looking to get anything back or anything else. Just thought it was very petty the way it was handled. Later on during that day, there was a phone call from Tate at my room where she had removed a charge for the inconvenience of what it happened during my stay. First off I want to let everybody know that this hotel is phenomenal in every way. The rooms are very nice. The lounge and bar area is open and fun and just about all the staff that I interacted with were 10 out of 10 as far as customer service is concerned. If you decide to take a cruise in Seattle area, I don't think you could find a better hotel to start or finish your cruise at. Thank you Tate for restoring my faith and Lillian for being so good at making guests feeling welcomed. Also to bartender Matt for doing such a great job with a busy bar area over the weekend.

Lovely hotel right by the waterfront. It's at a convenient location to the piers and Pike Place Market. Just be aware there are lots ups and downs when walking outside (outdoor elevators and stairs available). We got an upgrade from Marriott Bonvoy member. The corner suite has a fantastic view of the river and mountains. King size bed is comfortable. Extra pillows in the closet. A balcony to sit and hangout. Shower water pressure is a little low but temperature is good. The room provides necessary items: body wash shampoo conditioner lotion hairdryer tv fridge coffee station. The hotel features pool, fitness center, M lounge (Marriott members). The breakfast served in the lounge is not bad, eggs potatoes bacons tea coffee fruit breads (M-F). Weekend they gave us vouchers to the on site restaurant. Pool splited indoor and outdoor. Water temp is warm enough for me to get it. Towels provided. Staff were all nice and friendly. Smiley faces everywhere. Highly recommend for the family or even solo travelers who want a convenient location.

For my birthday, we stayed at this hotel after a train trip to Seattle. We were very pleased with our stay for several nights. Our stay was welcoming due to the kind staff at the front desk and in the M club. There was a young gentlemen, unfortunately I did not catch his name, who was very personal- I appreciate his touch- and his welcome. Plus checking on us as we came down the next day after checking in within the lobby. The hotel is located directly across the waterfront. And a short walk to Pike's market which make it a very convenient stay. Without traffic it approximately a ten minute drive to the train station and twenty minutes to the airport. As we are ambassadors with Marriott- we were treated to some excellent rooms. Our first room had wall to wall windows that overlooked the waterfront and the ferris wheel on the 8th floor. A perfect room. When asked if we wanted an even better room, I was hesitative- but we accepted the offer and received another room that had a living room in addition to the bedroom with three balconies. The beds in both rooms were very comfy. Unfortunately in both rooms there were not bath tubs but nice showers. And of course lovely views of the waterfront. We also appreciated the nice welcome gift provided to us that included wine and chocolate. The only negative was that the indoor/outdoor pool was not open during our stay. The pool is an indoor-outdoor pool that overlooks the waterfront. Also we we wished the breakfast had better food options. We did enjoy the sweets in the M club though.

Another great Bonvoy stay! Beautiful room, I recommend one with a balcony, the hotel was busy and I had to wait for my room but it was worth it, the staff was helpful and accommodating. Valet car service was quick. If you want a central location near the water this might be the best choice. It was also fun seeing the cruise ships pull up

Went to a visit to Seattle before and after my cruise to Alaska. This is a convenient location because it's right next to one of the cruise ship ports. A quick walk across the street and you're in the middle of all the action ! Pike place, the aquarium, gum wall all within walking distance from the hotel. There is no hotel parking though. You will only have to valet if you drive here. The staff is amazing so you feel safe in this hotel. Also the bedding is sooo comfy. As with all Marriott properties. Can't wait to stay here again.

It deservedly earns a 5 star review. This hotel is across the street from Pier 66. I couldn't have asked for a better location. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. I know people complain about having to walk up hills from this location. I get it. Just be aware that there are a couple of different routes you can take with stairs and elevators that make that upward incline bearable. There's one at the Bell Street Bridge, and another one at Waterfront Park. We checked into the hotel around 1pm with a check-in time of 4pm. The room was actually ready for us. Can you believe that? They do charge a destination fee which includes a $20 discount toward hotel resraurants and a box of local chocolates from Maeve of Seattle. It pays for itself. Our corner waterfront king room was spacious & clean. I could tell that it was recently renovated. I'm glad I didn't judge a book by its cover on this one. The exterior of the hotel looks very old. On a brighter note, they do have M Club access for platinum elite and above. I think you can pay for access as well. We woke up to a great view of the Norwegian Bliss cruise ship. Not so shabby for a pre-cruise stay. Our buffet breakfast at Hook & Plow was a great experience as well. Walking to the cruise terminal to board the cruise ship was so easy. Everything worked out perfectly. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

We stayed here the night before leaving on our Alaskan cruise. It was the PERFECT location. Walk out the front door & right across the street to the pier. No need for additional cab rides or transfers. Just sleep on and cross the street when you're ready. Besides location, the hotel room was nice, great views of the waterfront, comfortable bed with nice linens, and a large bathroom. All very clean. We also received a nice welcome gift, a box shaped like a cruise ship with local chocolates. I'd definitely stay here again if in the area. 2025-33

Wasn't sure what to expect from reading other reviews. We had a great stay. Room was clean, had a great waterfront view. The lounge was stocked with water, coffee, sodas. We didn't visit for happy hour but did see wine and beer in the coolers. Centrally located to walk the city. A few blocks from great restaurants and the market.

Really good drinks! Little pricey though.

The hotel is great, but dang... the little bar/restaurant called HOOK & PLOW that they have in the first floor had THE BEST FOOD MY GIRLFRIEND AND I HAVE EVER HAD IN WASHINGTON... it was that good, folks. The pizza was THE BEST WE'VE HAD. Also, the fish & chips were SO GOOD. Bartender and waiter were really nice too!

This location alone gets a 6 out of 5! With the new pedestrian walkway and revamped Alaska Way, this hotel is now a prime spot to visit the Seattle Waterfront and Pike Place. From check-in, the valet staff were super friendly and kind. Since I am a Bonvoy Elite member, I was upgraded to a balcony water view room from the standard room I had booked. There is a resort fee, but that includes two tickets to the Wings over Washington experience at Miner's landing. These tickets were easily worth the cost of the resort fee. Plus you get a dining credit as well, but we didn't use that as we went out to dinner in town. The M Lounge is very nice and well stocked with sodas, a fancy coffee machine, and evening snacks. We got there just as things were wrapping up, but the staff inside were able to find us a couple pieces of dessert to enjoy with some coffee. The hotel has been remodeled since the last time we were here. Rooms are sleek and modern, and the bathroom was upgraded with a large walk in shower with glass door. Thank you for the bottles of water and welcome chocolates! Absolutely loved our time here at the hotel. No doubt, we'll be back again to enjoy more time at the Seattle waterfront area.

Stayed here the night before our Alaskan Cruise. Place was conveniently located right across the street from where we were to board the ship. A little pricey but that is what you have to pay for the location convenience.

Pike Place Market, a few minutes walk from hotel

This hotel was... fine. Excellent valet experience every time; front desk personnel, however, were not particularly friendly or welcoming-- often seemed irritated when approached with questions. If you don't have access to the M Lounge, there is no complimentary coffee downstairs, which was a disappointment considering the price of this hotel. Fabulous location, very walkable to the key tourist destinations in downtown and shopping. Nice view of the water and ferris wheel.

The rooms are quaint, I wish the bathroom doors had locks. Had a semi water view and the balconies are super small, but this was ok.

Came for the opening of this shiny new spot yesterday. A gorgeous 3,000 square foot event space that was completely remodeled: with in house catering, vendors, event planners, photo booths, musician! And the food. It was like going to a super fun wedding minus the formality of it. The owner was there as well: super passionate and shared the story of how she bought this space sight unseen: took a long process in turning this into a gorgeous space that it is now. It was super cool! And the food!! They allow outside catering too but the in-house catering: Kaspar catering : baos topped with micro greens and mint. Steamed to serve! Poke rolls :delicious! Panna cotta : in a cup! Lisa Dupar catering: this one was fantastic as I've had a chance to taste their food in the past at a wedding. The gorgeous cupcakes, macarons, molasses cookies and stunning cake. All were so pretty! Mark ryan wine! I mean, what's not to love as it's one of the wineries I frequent in Woodinville wine country. My pup baci's favorite too. Luxe Photo Booth: this one was so fun! The 360 Photo Booth!! I've seen them in Time Squares recently as well as at a valentines event. But this one was so much more fun as I didn't have to wait in line or fight the crowd for it. The person that was running it was super friendly and helpful too. The jazz musician was pretty rad too. And they had valet!! Butler Valet: All the friendly guys in uniform waiting for you as you arrived during rush hour in downtown: pretty darn cool. All events should be this cool. I'm only going to events with valet from now on! Ok thanks. Overall, this was such a fun place.I came to check out the space: left with all the food and fun.The space, the team, the design, the music!! And that Photo Booth: all are essential part of throwing an epic event. All events should be this fun!! I guess they will be if you throw them here: weddings, birthdays, corporate events, sweet 16th. I wouldn't mind coming here for a photoshoot: hello contents!!Or just a fun anything event.Did I mention the views?? Ahh the possibilities!!!

The experience exceeded my expectations, specifically for exceptional service! As we walked in the door, the hostess was super friendly. We sat at the large high-top table with the fire pit nearest to the hostess stand with a view of the water. Our server, Amber, consistently went above and beyond and carried herself with a bubbly and positive aura. She guided our selections of fries, fish tacos, salmon mousse, and tuna poke bites and frequently checked on us to make sure we were doing okay. Amber was also very professional and polite when she cleared plates and dropped off the drinks and food. Speaking of the food, every dish had great presentation. I wouldn't say the taste was out of the world but everything was still good and worth the price. The two hours we spent there flew by and by the time we decided to wrap up, all three of us were commenting on the great service (which led me to write this review). As a final gesture of hospitality by the restaurant, the hostess let my mom keep the bar purse hook that was given to her to hang her purse. I will definitely come back here the next time I'm in Seattle.
