I can't tell you how many different photo booth companies I've called, or how many e-mails from multiple places I've received, but I'm so glad that I got an e-mail from SPB that started off with: "Dear Awesome Person Reading This," an opening line that totally caught my attention! They also had an offer to book 4hrs before a certain day and add an additional hour at no cost. Um yes, please! I looked at their easy to navigate website, read their Yelp reviews and decided to give them a call. I worked with Kara regarding billing and Matt for everything else. I was e-mailed a proposal, which included a payment date to for down payment and another payment one month before our wedding for the remaining balance. My package was 5 hour photo booth, unlimited prints and an option for guests to record a video message for us. A little while before the wedding, Matt sent me a photo strip proof and said to let him know if I wanted any changes. Within a couple e-mail exchanges, I had the exact layout, font, background and border I wanted for our pictures! Matt confirmed me with me throughout the last few days leading up to our wedding day, as well as the morning of to let me know when he would start setting up. We agreed that he would show up at 3:30pm, but he was there early and even spotted me to let me know that everything was set and if anyone wanted to test it out and take a couple pictures before our ceremony started (which was at 3!) It was nice to know he was there early and was ready to go before we even started. The line for the photo booth was busy all night! We had about 300 guests! One thing that was kind of sucky was that it was so loud with all our guests, music, laughing, etc so recording a message wouldn't be the best idea. I was kind of upset that I added that to the package since we wouldn't be able to hear anyone anyways...little did I know, Matt had something up his sleeve! I personally think the photo booth was there for longer than 5 hours, then again I did have a couple drinks so don't quote me on that! As Matt was leaving, he gave me a flash drive that included everyone's videos and pictures (both individual shots and as printed on each strip.) 10 days after our wedding, I got an e-mail from him which ended up being such a cute video they put together of all the messages/dance videos our guests left us! This company contacted me at 4:05 pm to cancel the night of my daughter's Sweet 16 party, which was scheduled to start just four hours later. I had reserved a week in advance, confirmed all the times and paid in full. She was so heartbroken about not having the booth at her party, which was supposed to be the highlight. Matt would not return my calls, and said only that there "was a vendor issue that caused the cancellation." Not worth your trouble or your time. Shockingly bad customer service. read more

Went with this company for a fun addition to my med school's prom event. Booking with them was super easy. They had a range of backdrop options and had a graphic designer work with me to decide on the template. On the day of the event, they got everything set up before I even arrived. Last week we tried to book Matt for a Seattle middle school dance with other middle schools in a couple weeks. He seemed professional and even gave reasonable answers to questions about some bad reviews. I wanted to like him and we intended to use him. Then we encountered too many issues. First his quote process is way way more cumbersome and long to be remotely reasonable. Second by the time we got through that process 36 hours later (after having to check on the many items required to finish) and sent the request, we waited another 36 hours for a response and nothing, even though he verbally said he was free that night and wanted the business. Third when I did call and catch him at 3 pm last Thursday he said he was just getting into the office and said he would respond to the quote request. By Friday and a couple polite phone calls unanswered later still nothing. While we also called a few times on the weekend, we still have nothing and it is six days after we first spoke. DONT waste your time with this company- it won't be worth you efforts. We have spoken to a couple other companies with great success and happy we have moved on. read more

Thank you Matt and Seattle Photo Booths for coming out and creating memories for our wedding guests! They had a great time and enjoyed every minute of it. The camera was not confined in a booth which made it easier for guests to take pictures, especially group pictures. Different props were available which made some very creative pictures. We had a scrapbook made with copies of the pictures and guests were able to sign and add a message. Matt also sent us a CD of all the pictures that were taken that evening.
