I have been going to Dr. Ronald Bryant and Dr. Thomas Junge for years and I am very happy with the work they have done on my teeth. My teeth weren't very well taken care of when I was a child because I wasn't taken to a dentist between the ages of nine and 12 and I as a result I had suffered a lot of damage because of that. I needed lots of crowns and root canals as an adult, and because of the excellent work or Drs. Bryant & Junge I still have all of my teeth and they look pretty good considering what I went through in terms of dentistry or lack thereof as a child. They do beautiful work on crowns, so much so that my endodontist once thought that he was drilling through "the real McCoy," until he discovered it was actually one of Dr. Bryant's excellently constructed crowns! Recently, Dr. Junge patched a chip on one of my two front teeth and he did a wonderful job and you can't even tell it had ever been chipped (in a car accident in 2003). It feels better too. Dr. Bryant helped to put my beautiful daughter back together after she suffered a gunshot wound to the face at close range that destroyed part of her teeth and she is again looking beautiful. He is very compassionate to his patients and he does fantastic work! Dr. Junge is also a member of the "Flying Doctors of America," an outfit that does great charity work by giving free dental work to people in need in poor remote areas of the world. He is also a private pilot and he even flies the plane to the countries where he does the dental work for the people in need and he looks like George Clooney! Dr. Bryant has been my dentist for as long as I can remember, but until recently had very little interaction aside from a short visit at the end of my cleanings. I am blessed with cavity defying lacto-bacilli but was cursed with a bullet to my face shattering 5 of my teeth and obliterating a good portion of my Mandible, Maxilla, and upper right quadrant of my dentition. Lucky for me Dr. Bryant referred me out to Leone and Vaughn orthodontics and Dr. Jonov's Facial Surgery Center of Seattle in April 2010. March 2011 I was massively stoked when he painstakingly custom made my bridge virtually indiscernible to the glancing eye, complete with prosthetic matching gum tissue and an exact match and feel that I had had before. His kind and detail oriented work enabled me not only to start eating chips again but gave me the confidence and facial symmetry I needed to start rebuilding my face and my life. Dr. Junge is the best dentist ever, in my book. I've been a patient of his for over 4 years and now I wouldn't trust anyone near my chompers but him and the hygienist that usually cleans my teeth. I haven't needed any serious dental work...yet (crossing my fingers). So my visits are pretty basic, just cleaning and the occasional filling. But when I do have fillings, Dr. Junge is very thorough yet quick and even painless *every single time*! Also, at every visit, he makes notes on which teeth he wants to put on "watch" as potentially needing a filling and he remembers 6 months later at my next check-up to follow-up on those teeth. Dr. Junge is always pleasant and friendly and I feel at ease with him which is hard for me because I despise going to the dentist. For the first time in my life, I have been able to really trust a dentist. Dr. Bryant and his staff made me feel safe and comfortable through a very long process, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I've had three decades' of history with dentists in Japan and the US. I had more than 10 surgeries in my mouth over this period to fix issues stemming from a childhood incident, and none of my previous dentists were able to properly and permanently fix things. My previous dentist told me to remove two of my back teeth and replace them with implants. I felt he was rushing into an expensive procedure. Since it was a big decision, I wanted to get a second opinion. I found Dr. Bryant and he gave us a free consultation. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and explained that it's always best to save the original teeth if possible. I felt that he actually had my best interests at heart, instead of just recommending costly treatments. He was able to save those two teeth. It's been two years since then, and those two teeth are still happy and healthy. After that, my older crowns and a 20-year-old bridge in the front of my mouth related to my childhood issues started failing. It made my heart sink, because I knew it would cost a lot and that it would be a long treatment. However, Dr. Bryant and his staff helped make this process smooth and comfortable. They explained the process carefully and clearly before we started anything. They made sure I understood all the options. I ended up choosing to replace the failing bridge with two implants and three crowns. This also involved a bone graft to increase the thickness of my upper jaw. Dr. Bryant is a very professional dentist. He is also a true craftsman. Even his temporary teeth are beautiful. While waiting for the bases of my implants to take hold in my jaw, I had to use a partial denture for my two front teeth for six months, and no one even noticed! While he's working on your teeth, you can tell he is very serious about the end product being not only functional but also beautiful as well. When my final implants came back and were placed into my mouth, I was very happy. You could tell Dr. Bryant was happy with the result too. I think he may have been more excited than my husband! Dr. Bryant does excellent work, and he doesn't try to push unnecessary procedures on you. When work might be necessary in the future, he gives options and timelines well in advance. I can't speak for Bryant but I ended up seeing Dr. Junge last year and was more than ecstatic about my experience. I wasn't 100% pleased with the appearance of my smile and at first went to Dr. Junge for a consult. Dr. Junge started out by giving my options but he was rather adamant I take the most conservative solutions versus other dentists who jumped at the idea of expensive and unnecessary veneers. I have to add another low rating for Dr. Bryant. My teeth have actually been in pretty good shape for a number of years but my now awesome dentist is retiring and I'm on the hunt for a new one. I was kind of surprised to see him still working. I had had some crowns done years ago and his lab did a really horrible job. So horrible, that when he temporarily seated them I told him I needed to talk to the lab because there seemed to be a communication breakdown. I went to the lab (with his approval) and when I got there they clearly were not used to talking to patients directly. One of them got Dr. Bryant on the phone and passed the phone to me. Dr. Bryant literally screamed at me. I actually wrote a complaint to the Washington State dental board and found another dentist who has a fantastic lab and did perfect work. I now know the difference between a mediocre dentist vs. an excellent dentist. I had been seeing a dentist for the last couple of years and only 6 months ago had gotten 3 fillings. My prior dentist left very rigid, rough fillings in my teeth and i couldn't get floss between two of the teeth for a few days until the composite had worn down a bit. i even had to return to have him file the fillings down because an area of the filling was too high - not very pleased. A friend had recommended Dr. Junge a couple months ago, saying that he was terrific. So, when I chipped a large piece of my tooth off Friday night, I called Dr. Junge and he had me come in on Monday. He spent a great deal of time working on filling my chipped tooth and fixing the hack-job that my prior dentist had done. He filed, polished and refined the new filling until it was perfect. He even said, "you'll be very happy with this". He even made sure to floss those teeth to make sure that they were going to be smooth. My filling is so smooth and polished that I can't even detect that I was at the dentist yesterday - he did a phenomenal job. He's such a personable dentist too, I felt very comfortable and confident that I was well taken care of. Their office is also very nice and they have all the modern technologies. He was able to take a photo of my chipped tooth with a micro camera and show it to me on his computer screen. Also loved his dental assistant. Can you tell I love my dentist?? read more

The absolute best! I did a ton of research before choosing a dentist and based on his qualifications and reviews, it was an easy decision. Not only is he extremely skilled and precise - an absolute perfectionist - but you can tell he really loves what he does and takes pride in his work. I had a very traumatic experience at a dentist in Korea when I was young and have had ongoing dental issues stemming from that. Dr. Bryant was very compassionate and I felt like he genuinely cared and wanted to help. He put me completely at ease and did an incredible job. I'm not exaggerating when I say he performed a miracle! His entire staff was SO great to work with. Everyone was so nice and friendly and wanted to make sure I was comfortable. I went to see Dr. Junge for a dental check up. I am not the most dilligent dental patient. Before this visit I had not visited the dentist in over 1.5 years, and my mom got me to brush my teeth by saying you don't want to have to mail in your teeth like grandma. Anyway, I made an appointment with this dentist, my boyfriend had seen him, and his cousin had recommended him. My appointment was for 3:30 pm, I got there at 3:20 to fill out paperwork, and ended up waiting for a little over a half hour to get seen. Finally a little bit before 4, I went to the desk and said there is something wrong here, I have been waiting way too long. the dental hygenist had been very busy, but was exteremely sweet and apologetic. She spent a lot of time talking to me and making me comfortable. She took several x-rays and their system is digital so I was able to see my teeth pop up right on the computer. That was really cool. The doctor was really nice, did a thorough exam, and answered all of my questions. All in all I was very happy with my exam. one bit of advice, if you are going here, this building has 2 elevators, make sure to get on the correct one, one of them only goes up to the 10th floor, and this office is on the 14th. :) read more

I had a chance to meet Dr. Junge at my initial evaluation and I was very worried as it had been over a year since I had seen the dentist. I maintain my oral health very well but I had a sneaking suspicion I would need some major work. After his thorough examination, I only needed a cleaning and two fillings repaired. Over 11yrs ago, I was Very Fortunate to have been referred to Dr R. Bryant. It was a time sensitive need for a post and a color match for my Front tooth replacement. I was VERY apprehensive as I had several unpleasant dental experiences earlier. Casey (office mgr) made room for me and I could not have been in more Professional hands. Dr Bryant was Wonderful. He was caring and knew how important the matching of color for my Front teeth (& my smile) meant to me. YOU have the option to visit the lab that makes "your replacement" in Renton. Go out of your way to visit this 10+yr business. They are Artists! The need for an implant "replacement" came up again recently and I would only go to Dr Bryant and his team. My dentist had moved and I was looking for a new one. Bryant and Junge were recommended by a friend. When I called to make the appointment I specifically asked if Blue Cross was a provider because they are my primary for cleanings. Delta Dental is a secondary provider. I was told, yes and it wouldn't be a problem. That turns out not to be the case. I was sent a bill for $123 for a cleaning. I called to explain that I have never paid for a cleaning. The person I spoke with said she'd check into it, but never returned my call. I received another bill and called again. This time I was told that Blue Cross was not a provider and Delta Dental only paid 60 percent of the claim. I know they pay 100 percent for cleanings at their standard rate. I am assuming Bryant and Junge was charging above the standard rate. Bryant and Junge said because I was referred they'd give me a further discount. I ended up paying $53, I'm waiting for my receipt to make sure there are no other MISUNDERSTANDINGS. I have no complaints about the cleaning, but I have a problem with their billing. I never would have gone to them if I had known my primary insurer wasn't one of their providers. I won't be going back to them. read more

This is one of the best dental practices in Seattle. Dr. Bryant has given me my mouth back! He restored a mouthful of old fillings and failing 30 year old crowns. After my previous dentist retired, I dragged my feet on finding a new one. When a tooth abscessed and broke, Bryant and Junge Prosthodontics welcomed me in on short notice and took fabulous care of me. I was so impressed, I went ahead and did a comprehensive rehab of the whole mouth. (thank you grandma for the inheritance $) The work took a year to accomplish and Dr. Bryant and his crew were superb throughout. I also saw Dr. Junge during my treatment and found him to be equally capable. This practice uses cutting edge technology and the most modern techniques. No more sensitive teeth and pain! I had been a patient of Bryant & Junge for several years and since I have a Good/Excellent Dental Health I only required annual cleanings/checkups. Yet on a recent dental hygiene exam/cleaning I had a "new"(to me) hygienist whom I subsequently learned had been employed with Bryant&Junge for some years. On the date of my cleaning she was totally distracted leaving me 2-3 times during the cleaning, and then "charging" me for polishing, and "periodic exam" which never occurred. Thus I did not pay at front desk. I called multiple times to follow up immediately w/Dr. Junge to meet w/both him and hygienist re this substandard service and followed up with a letter detailing this negligence. I subsequently received a letter from Dr. Junge informing me that I will no longer be a patient as I reflused to pay for services charged! Over 14 yrs ago when seeking a new dentist for extensive crown work after braces, jaw surgery and prior shoddy dental work, I asked my orthodontist (now retired) who she suggested, who was the very best and who she herself would go to if she were facing this situation, she immediately said "Ron Bryant, he is the very best, also who I would recommend and would go to myself." As she was so quick definitive, I looked no further and made an appt. From that initial call to Dr. office, before he added an associate, through this day, his staff and Dr. Bryant have been outstanding, treating me exceptionally well, while providing outstanding dental care, not only restorative work but routine cleanings, extractions and same or next day appts for dental emergencies, amongst many other things. While I initially went to Dr. Bryant for crown replacements, I quickly realized he could also be my ongoing dentist. I soon had my Mom switch over to Dr. Bryant, as well as my now deceased ex-husband who actually saw one of Dr. Bryant's associates. While I have not yet been seen by Dr. Pavinee, I have no doubt she is just as fabulous a dentist and person as Dr. Bryant. I would highly recommend Seattle Specialty Dentistry, as Dr. Bryant's practice is now known.
