My appointment with Dr. Redenz was great as a new patient. He was very kind and thorough with explaining what he was doing and why and generally felt very easy to communicate with him. Assistant Courtney was also so so sweet and made me feel very comfortable during my visit. Sydney, one of the dental support staff, has top notch Nordstrom-like customer service Went in for my second teeth whitening; had initial done at another dental clinic and was not as satisfied. There was a price difference between many of the dental clinics for Zoom whitening throughout Seattle/King County. This clinic prices are on the higher end of whitening, however, time spent in clinic is about double of what is quoted in terms of clinic time at other clinics. I priced in the time and ended up choosing this clinic. Sydney spent a considerable time prepping my gums, polishing and getting my mouth ready, something that did not quite happen at the previous dental clinic I attended for whitening. The previous clinic placed gel, minor prepping and had me on the way very quickly. Sydney spent time color matching and went over before and after results. I was cold upon arrival and she grabbed me a blanket for comfort. She checked on me several times, offered to play music, offered Advil/Tylenol for comfort associated with teeth whitening sensitivity. She continually checked on me, asked me if I needed anything and her personality is all bright and happy. The best dental support staff member I have met. The dentist I had also provided a very thorough exam compared to any of the dental exams I have had prior; this was a separate visit. I have no complaints about previous dentists, but this one provides more for an oral exam, in terms of checking for abnormal mouth growths, reviewing the entire mouth versus just going off old records. It has been very rare to have a dentist feel around neck area adjacent to the mouth. I switched locally due to my previous office limiting hours and the commute time between work and the clinic. Have been happy with just the couple of limited visits. read more

My daughter lives in Seattle but usually has her dental care done in New Orleans where she grew up. She had her teeth cleaned and they took x-rays. She was then told that she had decay and needed 4 fillings in 4 teeth. I am a dentist. I reviewed the x-rays. SHE HAS NO DECAY BASED ON THOSE X-RAY FINDINGS. In addition, she said the dentist never even looked in her mouth. The credibility gap that they created with these treatment recommendations makes me question their competence, as well as their ethics. This is what gives dentists a bad name. I can only think of one reason why they would propose unnecessary procedures. read more

I used to see Dr Radant before moving to another area of the city just out of sheer luck that it was the closest dentist to me that accepted my insurance. They are very upfront about costs here and they also have a great energy every time I come in, especially the hygienists, they're so nice, as well as the office management staff. Dr Radant is extremely knowledgeable and shows that he cares about his patients and goes above and beyond to make sure we are happy with our treatment. 5/5 stars! read more

Dental Care Seattle is an exceptional dental office! I have had an extensive amount of dental work completed here including Invisalign and I have always received the best care. The front office is very organzied with scheduling and provides great reminders for appointments. I appreciate that they offer texting options for communcation as well. Insurance and billing was always handeled transparently. I knew upfront what insurance would cover and what my responsibility would be. I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Radandt. He truly cares about your experience, pain level and delivers exceptional results. I never imagined that my smile would look like it does today, but he believed and guided me through my entire Invisalign process. Huge shout out to Tim and Hannah as well!! I went in with a chipped front tooth. Dr. Mulick did a fantastic job of repairing the chipped tooth, and filed other jagged teeth on the top and bottom which will help protect the teeth from thinning in the long run. I have never experienced anything like this. When I called them, I asked if my insurance would cover my cleaning and check-up. They told me that I was fully covered. During the check, up dentist did some additional things which were supposed to help with the health of my teeth. I always ask if something like that will be covered by my insurance or not. He said, of course, if it wouldn't, I would ask you if you want it or not upfront. Today, 1.5 months later, I got the bill from them. JUST NEVER EVER DEAL WITH SOMEONE LIKE THIS. They just ruined my perfect day. Something like this should be illegal. They should pay a fine for it. read more

I went to Dental Care Seattle after being given wrong advice to get braces and mistreated at Inspired Orthodontics. I went to Dental Care Seattle and Dr. Raydant said I qualified for Invisalign!!! Dr. Raydant was very knowledgeable in his field because he hit the nail on the head/bulls eye in his diagnosis and practice of his craft every time I saw him. His staff were always pleasant and the office used up to date equipments/technology. It is a big office and always clean. I trust my treatment at Dental Care Seattle. I don't know why this place only gets four reviews but here's the fifth and hopefully more to come. I've been to this dentistry for over 3 years and I have to say the service has been exceptional. They use modern day equipment for my cleaning and goes the extra mile to make a patient feel at ease. Usually before my cleaning starts, I am offered a headphone with radio so I can listen to music without hearing the buzzing of drills or other unpleasant sounds and eye shields to protect me from the bright, surgical light. What trigger this review was that at the last minute I had a work conflict that prompted me to call to cancel on the evening before my appt. Unfortunately cancellations are required to be given 48 hrs notice else a $50 charge will be incurred. I frantically tried to have someone fill in for me but to no avail. So I called this place back and the gal asked if I can come in later instead and she wouldn't charge me $50. This is true customer service right there! I love this dentistry and not bc I love getting my mouth poked, prodded and scraped. I try make my visits with as minimal of a commitment as I can. Everyone here is so nice and I wouldn't mind extending my commitment to 3x/yr instead of 2. Almost.... read more

Dr. Brigitte Higgins, Tashona, my hygienist, and really the entire staff have been amazing every time I come in. They are friendly, professional, and offer great care. The office is very clean and modern and they keep meticulous records to track every detail of your oral health over time--which is reassuring. I underwent a delicate procedure with Dr Brigitte Higgins. I received superlative care, consideration and was made immediately comfortable by her charming assistant, MONA. Dr Higgins is extraordinarily talented and gentle. I did not even need anesthetic for a complicated front tooth filling right up at the gum line. I was a patient of Dr. Mulick's for nearly ten years until May of 2008. I ended my relationship with him and his office because his despicable office manager refused service to me in a time of crisis. Fifteen months ago, I called my dentist, Dr. Micheal Mulick, with a dental emergency. The woman that is the office manager (a heavy-set woman with long fingernails and eggplant-colored hair) informed me that I would have to pay in full before I could get any assistance. When I told her that I HAD insurance and was a long-time patient, she just said that because I was late with two payments four years prior (my company changed insurance providers), "there was nothing that could be done." I reiterated that I was calling because of an emergency, but she wasn't impressed. I wasn't in a position to pay hundreds, if not thousands of dollars at that time, so I questioned her as to whether I should find another dentist, to which she quickly said, "fine!" and immediately hung up on me! That's how patients with a dental emergencies get treated? Despicable! I've since found myself a fantastic dentist in downtown Seattle, G. Glenn Buchanan, DDS, PS, that employs a wonderful staff. read more

Excellent experience from the friendly and courteous front desk, the courteous and friendly dental hygienists, to the wonderful dentists! Making a schedule change or asking any question over the phone is easy and relieving: every time, whoever's answers the phone is friendly and caring. The dental hygienists are well-trained and certified and work effortlessly with the dentist. I have had Dr.Barry, Dr. Radant, Dr. Reiddy ,and most recently, Dr. Higgins, examine or perform a procedure on my teeth. I hate the dentist...nothing personal, just a bad childhood experience that involved ineffective novacaine and continuted drilling. Since then I have had my share of bad, mediocre and good dentists. Dr. Mulick is great! I wrote in my intake paperwork that if he hurt me I'd kick him. Somehow (who knows what tipped him off) he understood my fears and didn't take it personally. He has helped me to work through my phobia (no more sleepless nights or hyperventilating before appointments - whooo hooo). He always takes the time to explain what he's going to do before he does it and backs off if I need a minute to calm myself down. Another positive is his office staff. E mail reminders, friendly front desk and wonderful hygenists. I've been to offices before where the flossing is more painful than anything else. The hygenists at Seattle Dental Care really know their stuff. They are gentle, friendly and well educated in their field! I would recommend Dr. Mulick to anyone (dental phobias or not)! read more

It was great! The reception was great and the dentists and nurses were so incredibly nice. They're fast and efficient, they make each second count and don't waste your time. Last dentist I was at took 3 hours on one cavity, my jaw ended up locking. With Seattle Dental Care it took just a little over 30 minutes. I had Dr. Shana Reidy and her husband Dr.Domonick Curalli (he ended up moving away and opening his own branch, but it's still coo), they were both wonderfully delightful. Love, love, love. read more

He knew of my fears​ and walked me through the process with a gentle and kind manner, all the while asking if I was ok with the next step..... by the end of my visit, I had released all of the fears of the dentist! I know the practice reads these, and I don't want to sound like I'm sucking up, but here is my story. During college in the early '80s, I found - somehow - Dr. Barry in the early years of his practice on First Hill. He was two blocks from my apartment. For the next 20 years, I held different jobs in different parts of the country, but no matter where I went there would be a dentist that commented on the excellent quality of the work previously accomplished by Dr. Barry. So, when I finally got to move back to my home turf, guess who I looked up. Dr. Barry (math can not be avoided) is mature in his practice, but stays up on all the latest and best in dental tech and practice technique. He is amiable and has a youthful energy. Further, he is a good educator - never condescending. I'm not sure what I'm going to do when he retires. (or who's going retire first, him or me) I still drive quite a distance to see them, not being close to downtown these days. Lately, the bulk of my time spent in Dental Offices is centered around Hygiene, with some occasional actual restorative work. I'm a firm believer in having a dedicated and specifically trained professional doing Hygiene - not just a Dentist with a few extra minutes in their schedule. Dental Care Seattle has an excellent Hygienist Team. I've seen more than one, changing nearly always due to scheduling issues on my part, and have never been disappointed, nor received any work that was merely "fluff and buff". They are outstanding; I trust them completely. The Admin Staff are polite and professional, and I really appreciate their grasp of my Dental Insurance; at other practices over the years there have been significant mistakes that cost me many many dollars out of pocket. I depend on them to keep accounting of all that. D.C.S. has never let me down. read more

I really can't say enough good things about this practice, and the people who work there. When a veneer fell off one of my front teeth, I was referred to them. An update: Dr. Mulick can try to justify his high prices however he likes but the fact remains that you can easily visit another dentist 4 miles away from his overpriced zip code and clinic without having to pay for parking downtown and get better quality services. The update part of this review: I recently visited another dentist 2 miles from Dr. Mulick and the x-rays showed that I had no new cavities but that the the fillings that I had placed at Dental Care Seattle had gaps behind them and needed to be replaced and done correctly. This is not what I would call a value for the money! Definitely would not recommend! read more

I recently got back from the dentist very pleased with my final results after being kind of a pain in the ass, so I am writing this review as a thank you to Dr. Mulick's office and his staff. I want people to know that they have treated me very well - better than any dentist I've had before in my 20+ years of dentist visits. I went for a cleaning & exam, zoom whitening, and bonding on my six top front teeth. The first time I went, I can't remember the first hygenist's name but I worked with her and Dr. Curalli who took excellent care of me. They even were kind enough to answer some silly questions I had like why is it that I salivate so much when I'm making out with someone, do you see something wrong with the inside of my mouth? or I feel like my gag reflex is really bad, what can I do to make that better?... that sorta thing. I don't get my mouth examined very often (in a medical capacity at least) so of course I'm going to ask these questions to people I think would know the answer!! And besides, it's fun to make people laugh. ^_^ Anyway, I told them about the cosmetic plans I had in mind for the future and they were great at helping me understand the different options they had available. On my second visit I had zoom whitening done as well as composite work done by Dr. Mulick to replace the old bonding I had done for fluorosis on my top teeth about ten years ago. On top of that I had a special request - to increase the size of my top canines to make them look more pronounced and masculinize my smile. I've seen guys with big canines and I always think it makes this sorta look is very sexy..not twilight exactly, more caveman, more werewolf than vampire if you will, though not something that would interfere with the ability to eat, talk, etc. He suggested veneers which of course makes sense and I am on board with going that route in the next year or so but he also agreed to my suggestion which was that in the meantime we could try to do it with composites and let me 'wear' them to figure out if doing something more permanent with veneers was the route I want to go in the future. He explained all the risks since composites are not as strong as veneers but he was very cool and patient with me through the entire process. I'm not sure that anyone has requested this type of thing from Dr. Mulick before but I can tell you that he worked very hard to accommodate me to achieve exactly the look of my teeth that I was going for. It was tricky work and it took about three visits for me to get it just exactly how I wanted, but the reason for that many visits was because (1) I was being very particular about what I want and (2) he was taking a conservative approach, slowly building and shaping them, letting me wear them for a few days to see what I thought, etc. I had never thought of a dentist taking that kind of approach before and not only is it smart, but it also allowed to where if I needed a slight adjustment on something in a week or two from my last visit, he didn't charge me extra or anything to fix it. By taking smaller steps to build up to something unique that relatively few people request of their dentists, Dr. Mulick was able to expertly craft my smile to reach the exact goal I had in mind. His assistants Brooke and Vanessa were totally awesome too - they helped talk me through my concerns, guided me on my thinking for what I was going for, and did everything they could to make me feel completely comfortable and free of worry. Dr. Mulick and his staff provided excellent care. They are caring, very personable, super patient (especially with someone as high maintenance as me!) and extremely knowledgeable. If you're looking for a good cosmetic dentistry or just a regular one, Dr. Mulick's office is the place to go. It's close to cap hill / first hill and conveniently located on several bus routes or just within walking distance if you're not too far from Seattle University. People are really taking notice of how cool my smile looks now and I tell all of them that I've been to a few other dentists on the hill and this is THE place to go if you can. I'm incredibly satisfied with my experience and hope that if you're in the market for a new dentist or need cosmetic work that your regular dentist doesn't do, you give Dr. Mulick's office a try. You may never go to a different dentist again. read more

I went to Dr. Mulick, having a terrible tooth infection and a severely swollen cheek. Dr. Mulick knew it was an emergency and fit me into his schedule. The other dentist I had been going to for years, could fit me in the next day. Dr. Mulick was very comforting and explained what he was going to do before he started so there were no surprises. It's very easy to schedule an appointment, the staff have always been friendly and easy to work with, the office is beautiful and clean, and the service Dr. Mulick provides is fabulous. The last appointment I had was for a general cleaning, but I had recently chipped my front tooth via a header from my toddler.
