Walked in to the establishment while on a girls trip. My niece and I brought in the design we wanted, planned to get matching tattoos themed after an exhibit at a museum we had visited while out there. We were quoted one price for a 3 inch tattoo (took 30-40min) but when we went to pay they asked for more. We reminded them of the price they quoted us at first so they did honor it. Regarding the tattoo, I don't love it, the lines aren't straight and the artist added a background of shadow I didn't ask for, it just looks weird and not exactly like my nieces. Her's isn't great either, she had a different artist and was tattooed in a different room. It's in the downtown area so parking was a nightmare. Would I go back if visiting Seattle again- no. Whipped up my idea really fast and efficiently. He was communicative and enthusiastic about my design even if it was simple. He made me want to come back! This is my first time getting tattooed so you could probably guess I was really excited and nervous. However, those feelings became replaced with annoyance and disappointment. Me and my friend decided to go as walk ins and we had paid the deposit, they told us We would wait 30-40min before getting a call but we waited 4 hours before one of us got a call. The crappy part was that not only did we wait so much more longer than they told us to, the tattooist was only able to do one us. I had to come back the next day which is pretty inconvenient considering we waited and were trying to be patient. I also was taken back by how much they were charging. OVERALL: I'm not impressed by the service, I personally won't be coming back to this place. I think the place looks pretty cool and professional but again the service just wasn't hitting right with me. 2 year update: I waited to upload this review to see how my tattoos turned out and I like my tattoos but I'm pretty disappointed. The lines are not crisp, there's a lot of areas the tattooist went too deep and it's not really clean. Not to mention the tattooist didn't listen to what I wanted for one of the tattoos so I ended up getting a tattoo that didn't match exactly what I wanted, but I was being too nice at the time and just got it. Overall, not a super super positive experience but I guess that's the kind of service you get as a walk-in. This place was the only place that allowed it and I'm glad. My tattoo artist was Mishka! He was polite and really knew what he was doing. He didn't use a stencil and really showed his skills! Flew in for the weekend to do a little sightseeing and came in on a whim to get tattoos. Bailey took care of me and my two friends and got us all three of us taken care of super quickly and helped us when we couldn't figure out sizing and designs. She has the best energy, a light but steady hand, and is super quick. Stopped by here to get Washington filled in on my state map, staff was friendly and Hubba did the work. The shop minimum was $170, which is on the very high end I have paid to fill in a state as it takes a few minutes, but Hubba really hooked me up. He did everything he could to make sure that j was truly satisfied with what it looked like and really put in the effort to make the tattoo be worth the shop minimum. Duuude, I went in for a walk-in earlier and secured a spot ($150 deposit). They said they'd call in about 2 hours, and I thought that wasn't so bad. So we let them know that we'd be around the area. Haven't gotten a call all day, and the person who helped me out asked me to send in what I wanted earlier which was a lucky cat tattoo to his instagram. He never looked at it or gave me a response. But now it's 8pm and I see that it already had closed. I have a flight back home tomorrow at 6am, and I'm not sure anymore if I'd get my deposit back as I called the shop and nobody would answer i had also sent DM's to a few artists and got no answer... Would love to have a good review.. the ink on my side working on. Coverup is beat to hell and got a cover on an initial on my ring finger this weekend and most of the ink has come out. YES I get that hand and finger tats are precarious but it's also my 5th and never had the same issue with the others. If you go here, do NOT go to jazz. She took MULTIPLE breaks and took over 3 hours to do a simple tattoo and didn't even do what my friend asked her to. She's also insanely bossy and made me and my friend feel uncomfortable and pressured my friend into getting a tattoo design. Get someone else other than jazz because she take takes so many breaks, extending your session so are forced to pay hella more then you should be paying. Literally the session shouldn't have lasted longer than an hour and it ended up being 3 hours because of how long it took for her to get JUST the outline done. Hubba Hubba is my artist hands down. My first encounter was when my friend and I wanted small matching tattoos. Many places are way overpriced for something so small. The shop minimum here is way better than most. They have quality artists and hello, one of the OG tattoo shops! They have a museum dedicated to the history of tattooing. Back to Hubba, he is a super sweet, artistic, patient, and talented artist. I am proud to have 3 tattoos from him now. I have 2 major (for me anyway) pieces that mean the world to me. Walk-ins are welcome but I had already exchanged a few messages with Jimmy to let him know what I wanted & when we were coming. Getting there I was super nervous since this was my first tattoo (same with my friends), but I feel like Jimmy kinda made the decision that we were gonna do this since his sketch was amazing and was prepared right when I arrived! He was very accommodating about what I wanted, what my concerns were, etc. got the job done nice and easy! Daniel and Kenneth are also amazing too! This is my 3rd tattoo here. I love this place,nice and friendly artist everysingle time, also this place has a special vibe,aura if you would like. This tattoo was back in my head for a quite some time but i couldnt commit to placement and letter style,and it just come all together so fast that I want to get it done same day so i went without appointment.
