I just needed a simple piercing, just an additional hole with a simple earring and I wasn't sure what kind of service I would receive at a place I've never been before. It was so amazing and I was so impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted in a very nice way, my needs were heard and respected, and, oh my, what a selection of different jewelry they have to pick from, very impressive! Adam did my ear piercing and listened to where I wanted the new piercing and Adam double checked before we proceeded with the piercing. But what most impressed me was how he prioritized Sanitation. I think he must have changed his gloves four times after he touched every item needed for the process. He explained aftercare very well. Checkout was wonderful too, they made sure that I knew how to contact them at any time if I had any other questions or concerns after the fact. I had a really smooth experience with getting my lobes pierced by Jason. I also loved the decor/vibes of the shop. The 3-star is because of the cold front desk service (around 5 on 7/10). The person behind the desk wasn't too interested in helping me when I was trying to select my earrings, and he even made snarky comments when I was expressing my opinion to a friend while trying to pick which color. I was excited to finally get my ears pierced, and I was quite disappointed to be met with indifference. In fact, I felt a bit rushed in picking the jewelry so that our interaction would end. It didn't ruin my entire experience since the other employees were professional and friendly, but it was mildly infuriating. I am beyond furious with the way Pierced Hearts handled my sister's navel piercing. From the start, this experience has been a disaster due to sheer negligence and a complete lack of accountability. My sister clearly explained to the piercer, Jaime, that she has a very flat belly button and specifically asked if the standard navel jewelry would be appropriate. He confidently said yes -- and we trusted his professional judgment. That trust was completely misplaced. As time passed, the jewelry began to embed itself into her skin, which should never have happened with the right jewelry in the first place. We returned to the shop, and Adam helped change it to a floating navel piercing -- the type she should have received from day one. He apologized and even took a photo of the damage because it was obvious something had gone terribly wrong. But the damage had already been done. Within a week, she developed a severe infection -- one that urgent care later confirmed was likely due to the original jewelry creating a gaping wound that never healed properly. Despite following aftercare instructions to the letter, she ended up on two antibiotics and hydrocodone just to manage the pain. Yet when we returned to the shop a third time to request a refund and share what she was going through, the staff were incredibly dismissive and refused to take any responsibility. They immediately shifted blame, accusing her of neglecting aftercare, even though we were meticulous. No effort was made to offer a solution, express genuine concern, or show even the slightest empathy. Just said "well, do you want to get it pierced again?!" ... no! Her belly button area now is completely bruised and mangled because of this place. We will never be coming back here again. To make matters worse, the owner was outright disrespectful and condescending over the phone. When we told him that medical professionals advised removing the piercing and draining the infection, her arrogant response was, "Why would they do that?!" as if she knew better than actual doctors. That tone alone spoke volumes about how little they care once they have your money. We asked for a refund because of all the trouble we've been through after the negligence of the first piercer, now having to pay for urgent care visits and medication. I chose this shop based on their glowing reviews, but let me be clear: if you're considering any body piercing here, don't. They might be decent with ear piercings or tattoos -- but when it comes to body piercings, especially anything more complex, they are careless, unprofessional, and utterly unwilling to take accountability when something goes wrong. My sister went in for a simple piercing and walked away in physical pain and emotional distress, and not once did they offer real help, only excuses. This shop failed her. Completely. read more

I lost my nipple jewelry and went in to get replacements. I had bars and wanted rings but my gauge was high and I have really small nipples and didn't think large rings would look right. I told the front person that I would sacrifice gauge size for the rings to look right. He didn't seem to hear me and said oh no I needed to keep my size. I let them put them in and I was so unhappy. I went back and saw Chuck and they got it immediately and gave me smaller rings. I felt pressured and unheard and Chuck saved the day. Two weeks later I wanted to get my septum pierced so I wanted to see Chuck again. They don't do that piercing. I saw Connor. He spent time marking my nostrils and telling me what was going to happen. Well, he pierced me and the piercing was crooked. The jewelry doesn't look right now. I asked what could be done he said after a week come back and get re-pierced. I am so frustrated and angry. The piercing, despite what most people say, really hurt. I guess I will go back and make them fix my nose but after these two experiences I can't recommend them and they'll never get any more business from me. I went here to get a second pair of ear lobe piercings. My first pair was done at claire's 10+ years previous, so it was basically a first time experience for me. I was a ball of nerves but Jason, my piercer, was really great about explaining everything he was doing & checking in often with how I was doing. It barely hurt and the most I had to deal with was a bruise on one ear (I bruise easy, so no surprise to me). As for jewelry options, I thought they had a nice selection. I think you could easily find something within your budget. I went for one of the lower cost options but they're still pretty (a little stud with a moonstone). I have been coming here for ALL my piercing. Jason has done all of them and will continue to be my piercer. I would also love to give a shout out to Aaron who has always been super friendly, accommodating, patient, and simply goes above and beyond when it comes to picking my jewels. I'd also like to give Emma, who did my tooth gems some love, she is so helpful and also such a nice individual. I always love being greeted by Aaron but unfortunately this last time I went Sunday 11/02 he was not there. I was met with a rude employee I believe his name was Zach, made the whole experience just awful. I let him know what I was getting and instead of getting the lovely run down on what piercing jewel I was able to get he just pointed at the case and said "pick whatever" to which I did and every single time he seemed annoyed and dismissive, kept telling me I was picking the wrong size so in my head I'm thinking WELL SHOW ME WHAT I CAN GET. Finally we agreed on something and I mentioned to him that I was double charged from last time, immediately Zach was annoyed. It got to the point that my friend ended up not getting her piercing based on how poorly he treated us. Next time I come, I will be requesting another person because this level of unprofessional was unacceptable. Thankfully I LOVE Jason, he understood my feelings towards my initial interaction with Zach and turned the visit around. Pierced Hearts came highly recommended to us when my 6 year old showed interest in getting her ears pierced. Many of her friends that had theirs pierced went there and raved about the process and experience. So, we made an appointment and they were fantastic. Everybody was kind and professional and our piercer, Jason, was very calm and soothing and made the process very easy - even after my daughter realized that it does hurt a bit after the first ear and almost wanted to quit. They give very detailed instructions on how to care for newly pierced ears (it's changed since I've had mine pierced in the mall some 25-odd-years ago). They also give you a coupon for 20% off new earrings or shorter posts, so we came back after 6 months to get a new pair to change out. Jason also helped us with the change! Great experience overall. Had the best experience here for my ear piercing here! Both my piercer and the staff at the front were so great. Such a rare blend of chill but professional throughout the shop. I had some specific piercing placements in mind and I called around to a few different shops to ask questions and no one made me feel as comfortable or heard as Jason on the phone, so I didn't mind driving over an hour to this place and have no regrets. I was nervous after reading internet articles ranking the painfulness of different piercings and also bad healing stories, but I felt no pain from the actual piercing, and just a tiny bug bite when the jewelry went in. Everything including the placement, the process, and the aftercare was thoroughly explained. It's only been a week, but so far so good. The other one I wanted, Jason said he'd be worried about healing on me because of my ear anatomy, and so wouldn't do it. But he encouraged me to get a second opinion because everyone's risk tolerance is different, which I found very professional. And what I found very kind was that he then took the time to talk me through some other piercings that incorporated elements of what I originally wanted and also patiently let me whine about it. At the time, I was too scared to consider his other suggestions because I hadn't gotten pierced yet, but now that it was such a pleasant experience, I'm strongly considering them and would of course get them from him. The price was also one of the better I had found, and though that's not a reason to choose a piercer, it's a bonus. Really recommend this place to anyone who likes being comfortable, aka everyone. I got my belly button pierced here about a year ago, and there's a reason why they're #1 in Seattle. I was super nervous and my piercer Jamie walked me through all the steps and did a 321 countdown to help me feel at ease. If you're debating getting your belly pierced just do it!! It's super cute and doesn't hurt the pain was 2/10. He took my anatomy into consideration for the placement and it healed very well and super quick in about 4 months. I would recommend bringing your kids here for their first ear piercing or people who aren't the best with needles. They have private, clean rooms in the back where they do it. The actual best fucking piercing place I've been to. I wouldn't say that I've been to a ton or anything so hey, I might be kind of naive. But I have gotten like 6 piercings here over the past 15 months, and it's been an amazing experience each time. They have guest piercers that are here from time to time. Nonetheless all the piercers I've had have these traits: * Tells you everything they are doing before they do it so you're not surprised * Very carefully considers your anatomy to be sure that the piercing will heal well. Chances aren't taken to give you an ill-fitting piercing. * They can do unique and special piercings here. I got a vertical industrial from Jamie because I couldn't get a regular industrial and he did an AMAZING job. I also got a triangle piercing from Chuck, whom Elayne Angel recommends on her website!! I never felt more confident and sure about the piercing going well. * Gives you plenty of warnings and reality checks to be sure that you are willing to accept the consequences of that piercing. I had one piercer talk me out of a fourchette because of how it will affect intercourse, which was really nice of her to do because I hadn't read those effects. * Emphasizes that you are able to back out of getting the piercing, or to encourage taking time to think about getting it. There isn't any pressure to do anything you don't want to do * Congratulates you on getting your piercing! They seem passionate about what they do and genuinely want you to have a good experience. They also sell Neilmed here, which is super nice and convenient aftercare and much, much better than making your own salt water and pouring it on yourself. The associates at the front are also super nice and friendly! And this place is queer friendly!! And their business hours are a huge window too! My only gripes about this place is that 1) ordering jewelry is a bit of a hassle and a bit inefficient/disorganized, and 2) doing a walk-in (even for a little check-up) can be a very long wait sometimes, so it's just much better to schedule an appointment. read more

Pierced Hearts was totally booked, but took us as a walk-in and got us in almost immediately. The service is high quality and it was evident the staff were very knowledgeable about aftercare, the healing process, jewelry, etc. The two staff I talked to were super friendly and made me feel right at home. A couple weeks after I had gotten my piercings, one of my earrings fell out in the shower because I had accidentally hit my ear. Let me start out by saying this review is specifically for Jason and the various front desk staff. I am greeted by friendly, helpful people each time I go here. Jason helped me out by removing a fresh, crooked piercing from another shop and suggesting a minimum healing time before getting it re-pierced. When I returned a few weeks later, Jason spent an entire half hour lining up my new lip piercing to be as symmetrical as possible with the existing one on the other side. He was meticulous and incredibly professional. He put a ton of effort into the alignment and made it very clear that he cared about the final outcome. I couldn't be happier with the final result. As for the tattoo staff... I can't say anything positive, unfortunately. I originally called in and asked which artist would be most highly recommended for the style of tattoo I wanted. After being told his name, I was instructed to call back when he was there. When I did call back, he had stepped out, so they took my name and number to pass on to him so he could return my call when he came back. He never called me. I tried again a bit later and he was finally there to talk to me. I spoke with him over the phone and described what I wanted. He told me to email him some sample images and a detailed description of my design. I emailed all of that information to him that evening and I never heard back from him. In 2019 I bought a tiny pair of earrings here that were sold as 14k solid gold for around $225.00. The earrings have since tarnished far beyond the properties of 14k gold. So they are likely gold filled. I'm a repeat customer and have contacted them for a response. I'm not seeking compensation. Only making others aware the jewelry isn't what it's marketed as. They have a great selection of jewelry for when you're healed and even options for the piercing they pierce you with. Jason did our piercings and was so nice! The jewelry was a simple stainless steel or titatium hoop, which came out to be $33. After Aaron swiftly rang me up, I noticed I didnt like that the jewelry (hoop) pinched my ear fold.
