Friendly and professional staff. Great views from the second floor. Very clean room at a good price.

Close to the pier and such an adorable, dog friendly hotel. I love the sea life decor and many luxurious pillows for our beds. It has all the amenities we needed including a fridge, which I love. The massaging shower was another great surprise to my tired Board-walking, fun day. Thank you for your incredibly, kind and helpful staff. We will definitely stay again.

This was an awesome room for us! We are a family of five and it had two queen beds with a couch that turned into a full queen bed as well. Panoramic view of the entire beach with a beautiful sunset and sunrise! Be sure to ask for room 221 because it is amazing!! The lady in the front was super sweet and we definitely will be back

It was our first visit to Seaway Inn. Room was small but clean and quiet and comfortable. Staff was friendly and welcoming! We love the location and would definitely come back!

Open the sliding door you will see the bed! Just one step only! Room very tiny

I paid for sea view room but the room that we got is just a sliding door that you have to sit in front of the room to look at the beach. Do not pay extra for sea view room. It's not worth it. The room is very tiny and all furniture is very old. The reception is not friendly. Only thing good for this hotel is location that you can walk to the beach.

What the extra $40 for a view gets you

Place is easy to get to and only a short walk to the beach boardwalk. It's an inn, so I expected it to be smaller, but I didn't realize how small. Room itself is big enough for two people and comfortable if you're only there to sleep and move on. Even has patio seats! Downside: biggest gripe was how difficult it was to lock your door. It uses a weird mechanism where you have to make sure the latch is just at the right angle so it clicks to lock. Shower was so tiny my shoulders nearly touched on both sides and nothing inside to place your bath stuff so everything you had to place on shower floor and have bend over to pick up. There was also a small bit of mildew in there. Power to nearly everything in room was unplugged so have to plug everything back in to use. Other than that, bed was comfy, water temp and pressure was great. Oh and more usb outlets than I could possibly use! Just my nightstand had 4 usb outlets!

He told us that if they were locked on our car, they would not be stolen and it was a safe garage. That was so helpful! Since we had struck up conversation, we asked him where to have dinner. He had several recommendations, and we asked about a local place nearby, which said was one of his favorites. After we had taken our bikes and gone for a long long bike ride, we returned and saw the valet outside the hotel. Hotel. He questioned us on our ride and wondered how our afternoon had been. Super thoughtful person. Our room was clean and large and very much in line with an expectation from a Hyatt place. Considering this Hyatt place isn't very old, some of the furnishings and fixtures were quite worn. Also, considering that this was a Sunday, the hotel was full. I imagine that this is an often used hotel and many families stay here. The breakfast was as expected, but there was only one hostess, and she really could not keep up the amount of people eating the food. Food. We stayed in the ADA room on the ground floor, but I still walked to the top of the stairs just to see the stained glass dome over the ceiling over the stairway. Stunning! The room was not enormous but it was efficient and comfortable and met my mobility needs. Loved the walk in shower with a shower chair. Body wash and shampoo/conditioner are all provided and smelled great. The gas fireplace in the room was welcome as it was still chilly in April. As for hospitality, checking in was quick and friendly. The front desk clerk at check-in was courteous and all smiles. Check-out front desk attendant wasn't the warmest, but nothing that would put me off a return. We enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese/cracker hour at 430pm and the hot breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious and filling. We had it arranged in advance for in room dining and it was great! If I were to drum up a single critique of this visit it would be that the parking area is tight and requires some care to navigate. If your reservation is purchased directly through Carousel's site, you can select a Boardwalk view for a little extra. With the location, we were able to not worry about where to park or the transition between beach and play. We started each day at the beach, returned to the room sandy and wet, showered and changed, then headed over for the rides. The TV sucks! Icons continue to appear randomly and frequently while watching a show. We tried to turn off the feature unsuccessfully. The channels are gravely limited and there are no smart app features to connect personal accounts. The stand of the TV was adjustable from left to right, convenient once our little one fell asleep as to lessen the light on her. Free breakfast was a selection of carbs that included bagels, toast, waffles, instant oatmeal, cereal, cream cheese and a protein option of boiled eggs. The fridge was spacious, allowing all our items to fit. We brought lots of fruit and food options for our little one to graze. The microwave was spacious and clean. There were coffee and tea options in room with powder creamer. The liquid creamer was reserved for the lobby. Not ideal. The interior of the room was clean, the bedding comfortable and the bathroom stocked and mostly cared for. I booked a room online through Marriott and I also canceled online through Marriott. I did receive a confirmation email that my room was canceled. And I did have screenshots showing proof of my cancellation and proof of the cancellation policy. I did try to reach out to the hotel to resolve this issue. I called numerous times. Spoke to a few different people at the front desk who were helpful, but unfortunately, the people at the front desk could not reverse the charges or credit me back. I was informed by the front desk that I needed to speak to the manager. I was transferred to the manager numerous times and the manager did not answer and the manager did not return any of my calls. I left a few voicemails regarding the issue along with my phone number, but the manager never called back. I also left messages with the front desk to have the manager reach out to me regarding these charges, and the manager never called back. I don't know who the manager is at this hotel, but it is extremely unprofessional not to return customers calls regarding charges or issues. I had to take up the issue with my credit card and submitted all my proof to my credit card so I could get the money back. Thankfully, my credit card was able to return the funds.
