Seaworthy is like finding buried treasure! This charming and magical gift store and coffee bar is tucked away in a tiny plaza off the Netarts Highway. I've stopped in many times and the owner greets you warmly and makes wonderful espresso drinks to your specifications. I'm amazed by Carissa's consistent kindness--I've worked in the service sector and find dealing with the public is so exhausting, difficult and demanding. LOL I don't know she does it! A cute little place. The coffee tasted good and the owner was very pleasant. She even asked how hot I wanted my drink. I had turnovers a couple times and my wife had a cookie. All good. I know that the coffee beans were roasted fairly locally but I'm not sure if the pastries were local. The shop had a good selection of gifts and housewares. We bought a couple throw pillows. So cute. The reason I took off a star was because of the hours. I understand that with a small business that has no workers (I assume), the owner needs time off, but we got into town after 3:00 on a Monday, so I was coffeeless for three days. Fun little place with local art and gifts. The barista is lovely, kind and a delightful storyteller. She makes a delicious chai! This shop is a little far from our home in Rockaway, but it's right next to our new dog groomer - so we really look forward to stopping in every time we have an appointment. This place is a mixed bag as the service was great, but the coffee was bitter and was probably due to being just before closing. Closing or not, the quality and freshness should still be present. I was saddened to think that I paid $5.50 plus a $2 tip for such a bitter drink. Ugh and I couldn't drink more than a few swallows. This little place does have quite a few gift items for sale, but nothing that I was really interested in. Disappointing and won't return for a second dose of rancid coffee. read more

Wonderful local Netarts small business! Owner is so friendly and the coffee and Chai (especially the Chai) are really good. Please support this business when you out at the Coast - nothing beats holding a hot cup of coffee while walking on the beach on a brisk morning. Owner has told me there are plans to re-open the inside shop soon (currently outdoor service only) which is great news since the shop showcases many unique locally made items and art. read more

I'm a hard reviewer so let me say this is a five star for the area but don't expect the best coffee you've ever had, although walking the beach with a hot coffee in hand might push it up there. I loved meeting Corissa (Carissa? Maybe a different spelling?) and I want her to be my mom. She was so sweet to chat with and my husband and I got some delicious lattes. I came back later to get him tea as he wasn't feeling well, and she made him a good tea for his sore throat. Wow! What a treat this place was. My Fiancé and I visited first thing in the morning after discovering we had a leak in our tent and everything was soaking wet.
