Who doesn't like crystals and used books?!? My 10 year old went crazy and bought some crystals and found two Twilight books she had been searching for. She also found an original ticket from our local theatre for the Twilight movie in one of the books,we let the two men know it was inside and one said he only threw away trash inside but only left treasures for the new book owner to find. This store is just that, a treasure in our town of Albany. Thank you gentleman for making us feel welcomed and ask for our suggestions, we can't wait to come back and see what new treasures can be found. Cherry on top, they let you know if you want to haggle the book prices that they were willing to haggle. They were also so kind to give us a discount for buying so much.

Never been, I decided to check it out, especially as supporter of indie bookstores. The past four days I've stopped by bookstores in Bandon, Waldsport, Manzanita, and Lincoln City. It's always feels like a combo of adventure, treasure hunt, and spontaneity checking out the shelves. Made it up the stairs, opened the door gate, and greeted the presumed owner. She was very welcoming and offered assistance to any genre of interest in the bookstore. Always a good sign when others were also actively browsing. I always make a beeline to cookbooks. I found a particular title of interest, became giddy, and definitely will make the sale. To be fair, I did wander other sections too. Well arranged, well curated, and that bookstore scent. Looks like cash transactions are preferred over cards, just an fyi. Thankfully, my purchase was an even twenty bucks. Completed my purchase and wished the owner a good day. I wish I knew the journey of how this title and particular find found its way to Nye Beach Book House. I also wonder how folks with mobility limitations can visit this book store with stairs and its tight spots for maneuverbility. Me being a notorious klutz, I made sure to take care going up and down the stairs. A spontaneous visit and finding this title, I later discover it's worth over five to nearly seven times what was paid. This bookstore is quirky, unique, and definitely worth a visit for any bibliophile!

Vintage Books has been a haunt of mine for decades. As a teenager three decades ago, I used to…read morefrequently buy and sell fantasy, sci-fi and RPG books, cycling through new D&D campaign material as needed. Prices were always excellent, the selection surprisingly robust, and the staff friendly and helpful, if a bit timid. Happily, not much has changed in the last thirty years, and this is one of the few instances where I would say that is absolutely a good thing. In the age of Amazon, eReaders, audiobooks, and every other conceivable method of circumventing the written (and more importantly, *printed*) word, it's almost shocking that little backend bookstores like this are able to survive...but I am thankful that they have.

It was more than we could've hoped for. A small little space with mini mini mini books to choose from. Very artfully arranged with lots of fun things to look at. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Offering to go out of their way to help us find the box we were looking for. The prices were beyond reasonable and we enjoyed our time there very much. We highly recommend this bookstore. We will be back.

Heather has been the owner of Literary Leftovers for three years now....and her store looks awesome!!! Clean, organized, a small sitting area, coffee and hot chocolate for sale.....this is a great way to spend an afternoon!! The books are very reasonably priced, and you can see she takes care what she brings in....I saw no books that were damaged or overly worn. Lastly, if you bring in books to donate the store, she offers a discount on whatever you purchase that day! A nice win-win!
