The most recent interaction the women who answered the phone had a very nasty unprofessional attitude. This can be extremely dishearten if you are in crisis. It creates the impression that customers are an inconvenience rather than a priority. In addition, their selection of 12-step program literature has become extremely limited. Materials that were once consistently available are now difficult to find, which is particularly disappointing for those who depend on these resources. Overall, the level of service and support no longer reflects the standards they once maintained. Based on my recent experiences, I cannot recommend this business and would suggest looking elsewhere for more reliable assistance and access to materials.

This is my 2400th review!…read more Kitchen Arts & Letters has been on my radar for quite a while. I follow them on instagram and have previously ordered online. I have always wanted to visit in person but never found myself that far uptown at the right time. Today I made it a point to stop in and walked all the way across the park to get here. This is a small store but is completely packed with the most beautifully curated selection I've ever seen. I left with a book and a tote bag. From now on I will make it a point to get here when I'm visiting NYC. In the meantime I'll think of it every time I reach for the tote bag! If you love food and books you will love it here too! There is that Julia Child quote, "People who love to eat are always the best people." It's completely true!

I knew this book would be a perfect holiday gift for myself and so many friends and loved ones. I trekked up to the shop and somehow managed to carry 6 copies back to Brooklyn. I also picked up a couple other super unique books for more gifts. I could have spent all day but didn't have the time this trip. Lots of incredible food books and knowledgeable staff. I loved that all my copies were signed and still the same price - amazing value and even more special. I even got free reusable tote bags. Can't wait to return!
