First off the storefront picture that is currently up on this business is wrong. That is the picture of their other location on West 99th Street & Broadway. This store is on Broadway between 109th & 108th Street. I have put up two pictures of the inside of the store. I love this store. I'm getting married soon and wanted to make my own wedding invitations. Yes ladies it can be done. You can just Google wedding invitation templates or go to Etsy.com. There is a ton of stuff out there. They have just about every colored envelope that you can imagine. When you buy a set of 30 envelopes you get a certain number free. They also sell Card Stock paper. You know the kind of paper that invitations are printed on. This paper is so thick that people will think that you bought the invitations from a printer. I got a pack of these for an obscenely low price. With these and other items, I was able to create my own invitations with envelopes. This store offers so many items that I suggest that you take your time and look around.

I like browsing the various journals, but I did not see any hardcover 6 inch X 9 inch. Unfortunately, this Paper Source does not contain large gift wrapping sheets for craft projects and/or gift wrapping. There are novelty items and gifts as calendars, daily planners, key chains, small photo albums, children games, children books, pot holders, recipe boxes or books, gratitude journals and traditional journals. My professional background experience of working for the former Kate's Paperie made me very knowledgeable about paper which Paper Source's products reminisce similar gift and novelty items. Price is range from above average to steep which does align with economic 2024 inflation era. I sorrowfully miss Hallmark brick and mortar stores. Customer service is average. This Paper Source is located inside Deutsche Bank Center (also known as One Columbus Circle and formerly The Time Warner Center) in Midtown's Columbus Circle.

A five-star review when they didn't have what I went there for?…read more This is about the service, not necessarily the store itself. I really had to have a specific product: what? OK, it was the Caran D'ache Grafcube, red tint. There's no place that has this and I *had* to have it *now*, so I checked Blick's website and the store availability checker... In stock in Harlem (only). I'm in Brooklyn but it's a nice bike ride, so on my way... I get there, it's right near the Studio Museum (YES! MY FAVORITE NYC MUSEUM) I find the right aisle, I find the Caran D'ache case which says "Grafcube RGB" - the EMPTY case! The lady who had already offered to help me was still nearby, so I asked her. She checked and the inventory system said there were several in stock. There are overstock cartons above the shelves, labelled with brand or media type. This incredible person (drum roll here...) N'Deye (pronounced En-Day, BTW) reassures me that we'll find them, gets a ladder and starts taking down and going through each obvious carton. When we've exhausted those, she then goes through the non-obvious cartons. We examined about 30 cartons(!) When we cannot find them, she gets a colleague (manager maybe) and he tells her some things to check in the inventory system and they determine that they're not actually in the store (last received over a year ago), maybe stolen. N'Deye then apologized so profusely and sincerely. Hey. at this point I was so touched by all of the attention that had been given, I was fine :) So... disappointing trip...? It made my visit to the Bazaar all the more pleasant. I've been coming to Grand Bazaar for more years than I care to remember, having taken a break for ten -- okay twenty -- years. Can't put my finger on why, perhaps I'm not as interested as I used to be. While the market is vibrant and busy, it's not as it was. Perhaps not as much diversity in wares. (I used to get a lot of pottery, art and vintage jewelry.) Back in the day, my friends and I would go to the East Village and buy funky old fur jackets for a song. I kind of had that in the back of my mind coming here. (There are many vintage coat vendors.) But prices have risen considerably. (What hasn't?!) The market is open Sundays, year 'round. Despite buying nothing, I know I'll be back. (Maybe coats get cheaper when it's warmer.) Plus, I like strolling around on the upper westside, which has a different flavor than the eastside, where I live.

What really sealed the deal for me was the ability to paint and leave with your masterpiece on the very same day. It was super important for the kids to take home what they worked on; waiting a whole week for a pot to cure and dry is something we can save for a future birthday. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed. There were other kids happily making soap, and the woman who greeted us kindly explained that we could pick whatever we wanted to paint. Once we selected our items, we paid and were set up at a table with paints, brushes, and an apron. I'm so glad she made sure we knew the paint didn't wash out of clothes. Pro-tip: Even if you're not painting, wear the apron. Trust me, your shirt will thank you for this advice! The kids had an absolute blast. It was so interactive, and once they finished, they had blow dryer stations so we could dry the paint. The best part? They took the painted items to the back and made them all shiny!
