She has a play area for kids with a variety of toys, a really cool salt water fish tank, and plenty of kids books. My 2 year old loves to go and frequently asks to "go to Dr. Jason's" like it's an amusement park. After 5 years, I found Dr Tom Murphy and after just one visit I was 90 percent out of pain for the first time. I have moved around several times for school and work, and although I will give other chiropractors a try, on the days I wake up with a kink in my neck I often choose a several hour drive to see Dr Murphy. He is not the type of chiropractor which spends a short fifteen minutes with you, and does not use moving tables or gadgets. He is the first chiro I've seen that writes complete and thorough medical records, and then consult his records on your next exam! Even after knowing your problem, he has always completed a full body exam, taking the time to utilize traction, explain the anatomy, and show you the best stretching and strengthening exercises. I work in a physically demanding field, and Dr Murphy has seen me through several injuries. When I get nervous I just talk... a lot. She calmly asked me if I was nervous and what I was nervous about. She flat out asked if I was nervous about the term Chiropractor and I promptly told her yes. She put me at ease so quickly by explaining exactly what would be happening during my visit. Dr. Jackson does not pop you without asking your permission and will work on areas you want to focus on. This made me feel SO much better so I scheduled a time and went in. I was still super nervous on my first visit. Unsure of what to wear, what to do, all that. Asking a thousand questions to my friend who also sees her. She did some mobility work on me and offered some stretches and I went on my way. Booked another appointment that same day!
