When we were dropped off at the airport, my son accidentally left his phone in the car. After making two separate efforts to clarify why Precision's price quote was so high and why the Lowest Price Guarantee wasn't being honored, I went with another company. And, I'm really happy that I did. The company that earned my business, was not only comparable, but, in my opinion even superior. Muhammad's response appears to indicate that the companies that gave me price quotes were somehow inferior. Precision has been in business 18 years, and the company I went with has been in business longer. Precision's price quote was much higher than the competition and was for a Cadillac or Volvo sedan, not the beautiful new black SUV that picked up my girlfriend. Lastly, the professional chauffer that was our driver, was impeccably dressed in a black suit and tie. Our driver had over 30 years experience as a licensed, professional chauffer. This gentleman even showed up 25 minutes early! What an incredible experience! Muhammad, I truly appreciate your response and your generous offer. The purpose of this updated review was to clarify that the company that we went with, was not inferior in any way. For some reason, you referenced Uber or a taxi service in your response. JJ Cab Company is the absolute worst in the Hudson County/North Jersey area…read more After getting off the train at Secaucus Junction and needing to get to the Meadowlands quickly, I went down to the taxi stand. Usually there are 3 or 4 taxis lined up waiting. I know a driver from Good Fellas Taxi who is usually there and was looking for him. He wasn't around so I asked three guys who were standing outside their taxis who wanted to go the Meadowlands. They all said "hey Joe, it's your turn." "Joe," who looked like he just stumbled out of the pub grumbled something and got in. There were three of us and his van had the rear seats down leaving only two captain's chairs in the back. I asked to sit up front and he grumbled in a heavy Irish brogue, "It's illegal in Jersey, but do it anyway." With one swift swoop of an arm he pushed all of his papers, GPS, pens and food onto the floor to make room for me. He floors it and we head toward the turnpike. His first words are "let me tell you a riddle." He goes on for about ten minutes telling riddles and jokes with sexual punch lines that were not even very funny. At this point I was wondering when I was going to wake up from the dream. Then he starts to talk about Dublin and before we know it he is driving onto some dirt road behind the Izod Center where there were actually homeless people living whom he apparently knew because he would slow down and wave every so often. When we finally made it into the parking lot of the Meadowlands Joe decided to drive 45 mph down the ramp but forgot he needed to stop at the parking booth . He slams on the brakes and I nearly went through the windshield (certainly would have been door to door service). The woman asked him if he was dropping off and he responded with "yeah who drives a fuckin cab to a concert" followed by racial remarks. He dropped us off and gave us the JJ Cab business card and said he would pick us up at the same spot after the concert. We couldn't wait for such an adventure again. We decided it was definitely worth risking our lives to be entertained by Joe, I go to call the company and look on the business card and his name is listed as Joe Roe Irishman. I call dispatch and they tell me 15 minutes hes coming back from a call. I said no problem and waited. About 20 minutes later he comes rolling in but stops about 30 feet away from where we were. We start to walk over when another guy walks up and gets in. I say to Joe, hey I called you for our trip back to Secaucus. Joe goes "OH, were you my fare?" "Well their goin' to Manhattan" "Sorry!" and speeds off into the night. My recommendation is to never take one of these cabs if you see them. Joe Roe Irishman may be picking up non existent fares for the rest of his days at JJ.
