Natalie came for a meet and greet (I'm one of those picky dog owners) with my two Goldens. I was impressed! The whole time I was on my cruise Natalie updated me and took tons of pictures even having to re-do the couch covers as they think they are their own personal tug toys! I finally was able to relax and enjoy a trip without worrying. Thanks Top Dog and Natalie for taking such good of my two goof balls! I was less nervous after talking to them and having all of my questions answered (Will he be left in a room all day? Is there a lot of barking? Can I call every day to check on him? etc.). We opted to add "playcare" each day so he could get out more than the 3 walks they would give him. I absolutely loved that I could watch him on a webcam while he was in playcare. His room was not a fancy suite- they do have webcams inside the more expensive rooms. The people that work there are great, they listened to my paranoia and special requests. I even heard one customer requesting they switch out her dog's toys each day so he didn't get bored. They really got to know my dog while he was there. It is pricey, but I felt like it was really worth it to be able to trust them completely and to be able to watch our baby playing with the other dogs and having fun.

I've been trying to plan for a week-long work trip at the beginning of May, followed some time in Europe, and needed to secure boarding. Over three days, I submitted multiple intake forms (in case the first didn't go through), sent texts, and called. There was no follow-up, no acknowledgment. Nothing. The only response I received was a single text saying they weren't accepting new boarders until May 1 and to fill out a request form...which I had already done multiple times. If you're too busy to take on new clients, that's completely understandable. But ignoring repeated outreach and sending a generic, unhelpful response isn't. Communication matters, especially when people are trying to make plans with real deadlines. They may be great with dogs, but based on this experience, I wouldn't rely on them if you expect professionalism or responsiveness.

It's already hard enough, trying to find a Groomer, but I had heard it was hit or miss here with the service so I was already very hesitant. I feel that after this phone call I didn't feel very confident in making an appointment. Because there was no clear time that my dog was going to be done. I originally asked about a walk-in but would make an appointment if necessary. I didn't want my dog to be there all day. They just tried to say they had a different system, no direct answer for confidence/ or comfortable in making the appt. Which she never explained a different system, just sounds like they seem to take a ton of dogs in the morning and then just pump them out when you can get them done. So that's concerning if I'm going to make an appointment I would like my dog to be done at a certain time.
