This place came as a referral from a few neighbors... I haven't tried it, but after reading a few worrisome reviews and calling to ask a few questions, I couldn't get a clear answer on the phone as to when my dog would be done or availability of certain groomers who came recommended to me. It's already hard enough, trying to find a Groomer, but I had heard it was hit or miss here with the service so I was already very hesitant. I feel that after this phone call I didn't feel very confident in making an appointment. Because there was no clear time that my dog was going to be done. I originally asked about a walk-in but would make an appointment if necessary. I didn't want my dog to be there all day. They just tried to say they had a different system, no direct answer for confidence/ or comfortable in making the appt. Which she never explained a different system, just sounds like they seem to take a ton of dogs in the morning and then just pump them out when you can get them done. So that's concerning if I'm going to make an appointment I would like my dog to be done at a certain time. read more

My groomer moved shops and I followed her here.. I will follow her anywhere and if this review was just for her I would give 5 stars. the 3 stars are for my groomer being here. I reduced this by 2 stars based on 3 things: 1) they do not have runs for large dogs so my pup is in a cage while he is here. 2) they have a drop off window. And it's a first come first served basis. So if you get there later in the window for a drop off you're not picking up until 6pm or later. 3) the front staff/customer service. Most places call as a reminder for the grooming appointment, this place does not. So if you forget, welp that's it. If your furbaby is due for vaccines, they don't tell you until you get there and then you are forced to reschedule.. oh and that's after waiting your turn to check in. Again I keep coming back because my groomer is here, and both me and my pup love her so there ya go! read more

Asked for them not to cut my dog's face and only their ears, and they shaved her face and her whiskers as well. When I called to make a note of this, the girl at the front desk was not friendly at all and was making remarks with her coworkers. Other than that, it was a nice haircut, just wish I didn't have to pay and tip before seeing my dog. read more

Every year at least twice we go through this I go and get the dogs humanized somehow it's never good enough. I make an appointment to get them trimmed. I show up 7 AM and I am told oh you don't have the right shot here or you don't have this or the dates are wrong. This is the last time I will ever go to this location ever. I just got yelled at by the manager that my dates were wrong after she read it and let me make the reservation last week. This is not the first incident, but it is definitely the last. read more

Called a month in advance to try and schedule an appointment for my cat to get a lions cut and was quoted $120 for it. My cat is a one year old low tempered ragdoll. When I come in to pay for it, it was $150. After explaining my dilemma, they lowered it to 130. The pricing is just inconsistent here so I have a strong feeling that they need to have a set pricing list and extra cost listed on the side. Other than that, everyone is very friendly and the groomer did a great job. I would plan to brush your pet before you put them in the car though. read more

Took my Persian cat to get groomed there in January & they did a great job. Took her back this past week and was charged $40 more than the original visit, AND she came home with SEVERAL mats and the choppiest, most awful haircut I have literally ever seen. These are pictures I took of said mats 10 minutes after I got her home. It's worth noting too that my cat is the friendliest, sweetest cat in the world--she doesn't mind being held or groomed one bit, so they can't even make the excuse that "she wasn't willing to let us get these mats out" because I KNOW that's not true. This business & the groomer that worked on my cat should be embarrassed. Won't be coming back here. Waste of time and money. read more

After spending $120 and leaving a tip for the groomer, the front desk told me my husky was "annoying" because he howled. He is a husky -- that's what they do. It was an inappropriate and unprofessional comment. When leaving your animals with someone you want them to love them as their own...I won't be taking him back to people that find him annoying for just doing what dogs do. I worry they treated him poorly since they find him so annoying. Disappointing. read more

This place is awful. Instructions I gave for my doodle were completely ignored, they essentially charged me $130 to shave my dog. If you don't know how to groom a doodle just call me and I'll come pick him up to take home to a competent groomer. He was completely dehydrated as well when I picked him up, as if he wasn't given any water the entire time he was there. I'll never go back here again, enjoy the 130 bucks glamour paws, it's the last bit of money you'll ever see from me. read more

They do a fabulous job and do try to accommodate your needs as a customer. My dogs come back clean and happy so that's what is truly important to me. The only thing that I can see that needs improvement is they could be friendlier. If I could give zero stars I would. We managed to get a last minute appointment on Saturday, and I wish I would've gone somewhere else. The groomer not only cut my dog's tongue with the scissors but she always gave him bald spots behind his ears. Zero Rating! Beware!! I had taken my previous FurBaby here when the shop was smaller and felt more attentive. I started using them again three years ago for my current FurBaby...that's been three years too long. Our FurBaby contracted kennel cough and has developed anxiety. The past two times they said my dog was being too aggressive and didn't finish the groom, even though they have been grooming her for the past three years, Suddenly, now she has aggression. 7:30 am Drop off to be called at 2:00pm to say they can't finish the groom. My daughter dropped off our standard poodle Atticus for a bath, he had an appointment for 9 AM. Glamour Paws (GP) was instructed to bathe, trim around paws, eyes, and mouth. GP called and stated that he had matted hair on his rear legs, I instructed them to not shave him down because I like his coat furry and the "teddy bear" look. When I picked up Atticus at 6 PM, he was shaved low enough to have razor burn in some areas and was nicked around his anus. I called and spoke to the manager, Tiffany, who stated she would make this right but has yet to follow through. I will never take Atticus there again, I expected more and was very disappointed. read more

I really wanted to like this grooming salon and I was very excited for my pup to get his first grooming. I literally asked for a Teddy Bear cut and they chopped my dog completely down!! I was so angry that I just held it in so that I didn't go off in the store. I just paid it and left to never ever return. I have to now wait several months for my poodles fur to grow back. I was so devastated and so was his grandmother. I could not believe it . I even asked for services that they didn't complete. When I asked they said it's cause he is too young. Ok so why did no one call me and tell me that. When they didn't call I assumed everything was fine and I was so excited to pick my baby up. Just a very disappointing experience! read more

This is the second time I've had to leave a negative review for this place and will be the last. I noticed upon arriving home that my dog has a pretty decent sized wound on her leg (probably from trimming close to the skin). But they did not have the common courtesy to tell me when I was there. She was fairly matted unfortunately but that is no excuse. She also has been shaking nonstop since we've been home so I will be taking her to the vet to check for injuries when they open on Monday. Lastly, I asked for a light trim on the feathers on my golden retrievers legs and they shaved most the hair on her ears and some on her back/neck which never should have happened. This was my last straw with this place and I will be looking for another groomer going forward. Very upset with the service i received and the fact I even left a tip, which I now regret doing. I was going to overlook what they did to my poor golden until I noticed the wound on my other dog. That is just something I can't ignore. Very sad because I've been a customer for years. The groomer gave my dog the perfect cut yesterday. I do not have him groomed very often and his fur was very long. I wanted it shorter on his tummy and trimmed up all over for summertime. I was very pleased with how he turned out and he seemed to have had a good day when I picked him up. Getting the appointment booked and bringing him in was very smooth. UNBELIEVABLE..! My kitty and I have been regular customers there since moving to Ft. Worth in May of 2022, all along a kitty nail trim had been $14.07 with tax in and today, with no signage in the shop, no "heads up" email sent to us cat owners, that price had gone up to $21.65, when I asked Cody at the desk about why their chalkboard still shows $13 for a nail trim, he explained that was for dogs so, basically Glamour Paws is saying they want to get out of the cat grooming business. I recently dropped off my girl for the first time. She had a pretty serious leg injury six months ago and they were very careful with her.
