I just got a matcha from here l and i literally watched the girl put an entire CUP of powder in my 16 once drink. I've been a barista for years, it was truly an ungodly amount of matcha. I actually stepped in and asked if I could have less powder. But even still after that it was FAR too much powder. Also there was about a half an inch of matcha powder, unstirred, in the bottom when she gave it to me. It looked like this person had never made a drink before. When I got there instead of greeting me She literally opened the window and just stared at me ?? Lowkey seemed like she was intoxicated or something. Disappointed Got my iced americano and it's completely watery, but barely any ice. I can tell she threw the shots over the ice, not good. If my barista would've been fun and kind it would've made up for it but she didn't talk at all. They need to clean up customer service and learn to slow down on the drinks. read more

Pretty much what you can expect from an Espresso place. Went there for the first time awhile ago and there were 2 girls there, they weren't wearing masks. They had a lot of options for flavors and I asked them for a recommendation based on my craving for vanilla & chocolate with something else. They suggested a drink, don't remember what it was now but it was really good. However it was prettyyyy expensive. I got a medium size and it was almost $6. They serve Doma and the baristas pull consistent shots. The service is always quick and friendly. Good place to order flavored coffee beverages on the go. Plus they offer soy, almond and coconut milk alternatives. If you like your milk steamed to about 140-150 instead of piping hot be sure to mention that as they like to make everything extra hot. The lady is rude, slow, and makes crappy coffee. We went in this morning and we pulled up first gave our order. Instead of starting our order she took the other windows order and instead of getting our order done she Decided it was better to make all the coffees from both windows. One of ours was completely done the other just needed milk added but no she couldn't do that till the other windows order was complete.. no tip for her today. I stopped by the other morning after dropping my grandson off at school. My drink that I usually order everywhere else is an 8 ounce double almond milk latte the first time I stopped in the barista was really nice she gave me the drink I wanted but today when I stopped in I got a lecture from the barista about how they don't have 8 ounce drinks those are only for children and they don't even have a button on the machine for it blah blah blah. It's really annoying when someone argues with you that they can't do something when it had already been done. So I ended up just telling her to give me a 12 ounce and not fill it up all the way. After reading the reviews she just might be part of the crew that isn't that pleasant. Customer service is important! The coffee was amazing but the morning barista needs to be a little friendlier! read more

Really good espresso! I like the fact you can actually taste the coffee and it doesn't taste like flavored milk or water. I got an iced americano with white chocolate powder and it was delicious! I am very picky when it comes to my coffee and it is so hard to find a good cup of coffee in Spokane! Definitely will be coming back soon! read more

I stopped at second wind a couple times a month and am usually very happy with the service and the coffee. This morning however was a different story. Only one person working so I sat in line for 20 minutes only to get mediocre coffee. The woman working was trying. Doma coffee for the win! Most stands around here use Four Seasons coffee -for me their coffee is a little on the acidic side. So to find a coffee stand using Doma it's like a breath of fresh air. Drinks are consistent and service is fast! read more

I live just a few blocks away but will go out of my way to another stand because this place has AWFUL service. The women working are all super nice and helpful, except the owner, who works in the mornings. She has a horrible attitude, like she has better things to do than make your coffee, or she can't get you out of the line fast enough. I'm not alone, I know many of the business owners in the Garland area because I've lived here quite some time, and they all say they'll avoid the place if they know she's working. Coming from someone who has worked and managed coffee stands/cafes for almost 10 years now, the customer is key, and there's a million other stands to go to who appreciate your business. I've given this place one to many chances, mostly because of convenience, but I now realize I'll take my money somewhere else when I get coffee every morning. read more

Given this place a few chances, they have general coffee, nothing special. I leave 30 minutes early for work whenever I want to get coffee and since this is on my way I figured I should give it a chance, but the wait times for this place is ridiculous, it can take forever to get a simple coffee or even hot chocolate. I am usually 2nd in line, and granted I understand that there is only one barista and two windows so typically the person has to help 2 people at once. I have no issues waiting most of the time since I always give myself extra time on my commute just for ordering coffee in the morning, but they will spend extra time chatting even after the person has recieved their order. I like the idea of being able to converse freely with customers and such, but not when it effects business. And what I find strange is that none of the baristas are actually ever pleasant to me, they are snarky or just downright rude. So I'm not entirely sure how they spend so much time chatting to people when it seems like every time I order anything they act like I am some great annoyance to them, for ordering coffee. And I have never made it out of here in less than 15 minutes. I will definitely be going elsewhere from now on. read more
