We waited patiently for the guy to pump some tubes up and then he realized he only had 5 of the 6 we ordered. He went in to check on the 6th tube to come back and tell it had been double booked. We looked at him and he just shrugged his shoulders, like oh well. When we asked our options, he said he could give us a paddle board for the same price. We didn't want the paddle board, but because we needed more adults to go down the river to help supervise the kids, we agreed. Then the Paddle broke right as we started the trip. The shop wanted to charge us $120 for the replacement, but said he would cut us a deal and only charge us $75 for a paddle we didn't want to begin with. Since our family has rented there multiple times, I thought they would work with us on the charge. We broke it, I get it...but who is to say it was not already cracked. It was definitely not new and the equipment was covered in dust and dirt. Just felt like they were unprofessional in how this was handled all the way around. Keep shopping folks, there is better customer service in Telluride than this shop. Won't be back.

They also have a nicely curated clothing section. The selection is small as many mention but this isn't REI. The products they do carry are top notch. The staff has great product knowledge and are well versed in the various outdoor sports and the local outdoor recreation spots to make sound recommendations. I want to reiterate how great the staff is. They truly make shopping here a pleasant experience. They have a loyalty program and have a few good sales throughout the year.
