That balance--respecting the meaning while sharpening the art--is rare. On top of that, I've also gone to him for whimsical abstract flower "stamp" work, and he nailed that style too--delicate, playful, and super clean. Same high-level artistry, just a totally different vibe, which says a lot about his range. Logistics matter, and he's been great there as well: easy to schedule with, clear communication, and really helpful about aftercare and healing. The nail tech was horrible and I should have trusted my gut in the first few minutes when she was quickly and without care scraping away my old manicure. It was like it was her first day doing nails. I wrongly thought some of the recent 1 star reviews had to be flukes, but they were spot on. Totally my fault for still coming here. While I was getting my nails done a lady came in and asked if she could get her one nail fixed because it cracked off (thinking this will happen to me in a matter of days) and the owner rudely said they were busy. The lady said could she come back in an hour, and the owner said no they were busy. They don't care one way or another if you're happy with their service. There was gel paint all over my hands, "manicure" not so much as just throwing paint on, cuticles not fixed, and each nail a different jagged shape. I did give them the opportunity to fix it but they didn't care and said I was done and "beautiful" ... uh no. Didn't ask "do you like it?". I finally just asked for a nail file to finish the job myself. How embarrassing. I've never left a salon without leaving a tip but there was absolutely no way I was giving these people a cent more than I had to after that experience.

I do not got into nail salons often but all of the techs at this salon were very friendly, the salon was very clean, and my nail tech was AWESOME!! Once I entered the salon I was asked to wash my hands and noticed everyone was wearing a mask as well as protective shields between the techs and clients (a good sight in the age of COVID). Sasha welcomed me with a friendly and attentive demeanor. She helped me pick out the perfect polish and design for an upcoming wedding that I am attending as a bridesmaid. The tools were opened from sterilized packs and all tools and areas were clean and organized. I could not be happier with my experience.
