Recently, I had my nails done at a shop in Dublin and my pinky nail came off. I went to Secret Nails for a quick repair and left with my feelings hurt. I walked in and not a single person greeted me, or asked what I needed. So, I sat down and waited for about 15 minutes after signing in. Finally, my nail tech asked me what I needed. I told him "just a pinky repair" and he asked me "Did you get your nails done at Secret Nails?" I told him, "No". He went back to his client and continued doing her nails. He didn't say anything else to me at that time. Once I sat down and the repair began, he told me "I usually don't do nail repairs when nails are done at another shop." I told him nicely that I'd keep that in mind. He continued rudely saying, "i don't have a client and Im done for the day, so I can do yours otherwise you'd be sitting there all night. I avoided anymore eye contact and stayed on my cell phone hoping he would not speak again. He did not speak again until I was cashing out. I held out my credit card, he looked at it and asked me if I had cash. I told him, "no I don't carry cash". He said he didn't think the machine would take my payment as it was under $10. I waited patiently while he "tried" to take my payment...of course it went through. I tipped him for the inconvenience of having to do a repair and do not plan to EVER go to Secret Nails again. He should have just told me he couldn't do the repair BEFORE he began my service, instead of rudely doing me a favor. The real favor would have been letting me go to another shop where someone might have been more kind. They do a really great job otherwise, so make your own choice. Everything seem to be going smooth then I went my nails balanced, the first red flag for me was when the nail tech just started popping off my nails and insulting me about my nails, he didn't even confirm that I wanted a new full set, he was then filing my nails for an hour and a half. I explained to him that it was hurting, and he just kept going not only are my nails sore. They are very very crooked. I am very disappointed in my experience with getting my manicure. read more

Do not waste your time or money. I went there on a Tuesday, recieved a full set. During this service, me and the guy nail tech talked about how the last place I went for the service and how my experience was bad. Buy Saturday, I had 3 broken nails. So i went in to get them repaired and a polish change. I wasn't expecting to have to pay for the 3 nails that broke while doing minut things like scratching my hair and washing dishes, however i was prepared to do so if necessary. When it came to do the polish, i asked for 2 different colors and the man started yelling at me like "no design, no none of that." Mind you i just wanted colored tips. (Not a big deal) He refused to polish my nail more than one color and i was PAYING. So i left with no polish but him screaming at me in front of his establishment about how he didn't charge me for the broken nails. I'm still confused on why toward the end he got so irate. Do not go!!!!! They lack quality and don't care about service. Decided to give them a try. Got a mani-pedi. The tech who helped me was rushed and did average job on the pedicure. The manicure turned out disappointing. He drilled my natural nails even after I asked him not to. Then the polish on four of my nails started peeling in less than 24 hours. The final insult was when I called and spoke with the manager he just said that regular polish doesn't last that long and my nails are probably oily. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! I recently went to Secrets Nail & Foot Spa for a pedicure and a gel manicure and it was the most painful nail experience I've had. My nail tech was a younger blonde haired guy maybe 19, early 20's at most. He cut/burned my big toe with the nail file and then proceeded to try to clip off my actual skin when I jumped and said "ouch!" He looked shocked and said, "that hurts?" With no apology. From then the pedicure was smooth sailing. My Gel manicure looks TERRIBLE!! When I left I had to pick most of the excess polish off my skin bc apparently it was too difficult for a professional to polish only my actual nail and not my entire fingertip. Again with the cuticle clippers...he cut off chunks of my actual skin on the side of my nails when he was supposed to be clipping my cuticles. Now, the tips/side of those fingers are incredibly sore. My cuticles weren't clipped properly and look a jagged mess. In my opinion Secrets Nail Spa should stay a secret. read more

I've tried this salon my last 2 nail sessions because they are open on Sundays. Unfortunately, both times my nails have broken and chipped, even the gel polish on my toes. I though the first time maybe was a fluke but I had a different nail technician the second time and same experience. I went in to get the one broken nail fixed prior to a busy work week and they are unwilling to fit me in, told me to come back in 2-3 hours. My feet were $30.00- it was done ok but still needing a little more work, nail painting was good After that same older lady painted my hands, and I did not like very much, colored outside of nail- I provided pic Then a male started design, which was not what I asked for but I didn't really care Overall: Not goof For this I paid $87.00 Would I return: maybe not, will try different places near me Update: after 6 days the design on the white nail started coming off and the nail polish on all nails started to mess up read more

There was a younger girl maybe in her early twenties and another woman who serviced myself and another patron. These two ladies laughed and joked the whole time, in their language. This is not my first time going into secret nails. The first time I went was a couple months ago I went in for a pedicure and a manicure. I started with a pedicure he asked me if I was ticklish at first. I was not going to line to the man as he would soon find out that I was very ticklish but I was still paying for a full pedicure. I went with someone else and they got the full pedicure but I did not because I was ticklish this then was followed by a manicure which I picked chrome and the chrome powder's were not covering my whole nail so it looked very bad. I decided not to go back until today. Today I went in for a full set of acrylics we waited 30 minutes and then I sat down with the nail tech I had picked my colors and he was gluing on the nails when he was done he did not ask me for my length he just proceeded to cut as short as he would like. I did not comment on that I didn't want them much longer anywayJust concerned if someone else did what he would do then. He then layered the acrylic on so thick and it was all over my fingers. He started to file and he did it very roughly and hurt my fingers very bad he did not care whether I was hurting or not but he packed it on so thick that he had to be rough. He then shaped and buffed with a drill he dug the drill into my cuticle but did not ever stop until I said oh that hurts. He proceeded to paint my nails and put them in front of a heat lamp my hands got very hot and when I tried to pull them away he would not let me. When I was finished and I walked out I started looking at my nails the heat lamp had blown the clear polish so it had little imprints and there was polish all over my fingers I am still picking it off. I paid $40 for this manicure and I will not be back ever again I do not recommend this nail salon read more
