website should be a little more extensive and thorough, it would be easier for things to be clear on how/what to book. Simply just wanted a polish change on my toes, while that option is available a la carte (which is normal) they only have it so you can book that service only using regular polish, so I booked that and asked when I went in if it was ok that I had gel instead, was told yes only to be told a few minutes later that my service couldn't be done because I booked the regular polish service and there wouldn't be any time since there was someone after me. I'm understanding of all of this I've been getting my nails done too long so it's really not that serious just have all options available on your web/booking site so people don't have to be turned away like that read more

This place always does an amazing job (Keith and Caryl are my favs) and it's such an easy booking process through Fresha. The only con is street parking or having to park in the garage during off hours but it's worth it for the quality of service you get at a reasonable price compared to other "nice" nail salons. I ended up at Posh! Nails because it is close to my work so I went on my lunch break. I love the location - it is very conveniently located to both my work and my home. The space itself is bright and clean and just looks really cute. I made an appointment in advance and it was very easy to do over the phone. I wish they had online booking through their website but I definitely recommend an appointment because it was pretty busy when I was there. I was pleased with the selection they had for nail polish. I ended up going with the Signature manicure for $28. The girl who did my nails was very nice and easy to talk to. I also really liked the sugar scrub that they used on my arms. It smelled really good and made my skin feel nice afterwards. I was pleased with the result that day but within just a couple of days, my nails started chipping. They do allow you to come in within seven days to get chips fixed but that was not feasible with the holiday schedule so I wasn't able to get back in. I ended up cutting one of my nails because the chip was so bad and it has been less than a week and the nails are already starting to look pretty rough. I actually had better results just painting my nails at home which is what I plan to do in the future. Overall, it was fun to get out and get pampered but the results weren't lasting enough to justify the cost and I don't have any plans to try to this salon again. read more

Acrylic nail art was disappointing, there are bubbles in the acrylic, and I was talked out of getting the longer pedicure I had scheduled for a shorter one because they were worried about time. I booked a last minute appt online and sonia was the nail technician that received me for a basic manicure and pedi. My appt was at 3:00pm. The location was downtown and i parked on high st. Just so you know if u make an appt here be aware that during weekdays during 4-6pm you are not permitted to park on high st. So i had to move my car during my pedi session and the technician did not have time to finish my mani because the first colour i chose didnt look good. i felt like she was rushed to make her other appt and was very rude when i told her i didnt like the colour of the polish she put on for me. I mentioned that you all should have something on your website about the hrs u cant park up front so us patrons can prepare for it. And she said... i should have scrolled all the way down to see where the location was at. As my mani was rushed, now 3 days later... my skin is peeling from her rushed cuticle cuttings. Will not be returning to this salon. I got a gel manicure, which typically lasts 2.5-3 weeks for me and I'm on day 8 and my nails are chipping and peeling already. Parking is not great unless you go before 4 or after 6 when meters are open (which is typical of dt). The manicurist who did my nails was not chatty at all and didn't make an effort to converse so we sat in silence most of the time. The tools don't come in sterile bags like they do at a lot of other salons and there were no plastic barriers that many other salons starting using after Covid hit. read more

Another fantastic job by Leana! This is my second time coming here, and I am again astounded by her work. She puts so much time and effort into making sure I get exactly what I want. She checks in with me every single step of the way. Her work is beautiful. She even gave me her Instagram so I was able to send her pics of nail designs so we could talk about it the day before I came in! Most times, I love my nails the most right after they're done, but with her work, I swear I love it more and more every day (even 3 weeks after -- I know, I should go back in sooner, but beside the slight back lift, those babies lasted all 3 weeks!). Last time, I got gel x (gel extension tips) for a little added length, and they were gorgeous! They felt strong yet light and natural, and everyone thought they were my real nails. I told myself. I will not let them die. I clicked my tongue some more,speaking in a soft voice. "I won't hurt you,come on out" I told the supposed kittens in the bush. I heard the same pitiful mewing. I took off my plushy purple jacket. I saw those three kittens huddled together all shivering. It broke my heart. They mewed at me. Will Miss Kier let me keep them?. I looked at the kittens. "I'm sorry someone abandoned you" I told them. I shot a look at the uber driver. He was staring at me,tapping his fingers impatiently on the steering wheel. He held up one finger at me. What does that mean? Only one kitten? One minute only?. I looked back at the kittens. I scooped them all up in my jacket,and carried them back to the car. I crawled in the backseat,careful not to hurt the kittens. "I got them," I told him. He grumbled at me. "I see that" He said as he pulled back onto the road. I hugged the kittens in my jacket,and rocked them in my arms until they fell asleep. I, I thought, am very lucky. I looked down at the adorable kittens. "I have two-hundred dollars," I told the uber driver. He looked as if he hadn't heard anything at all. "So?" He said finally. "Can we stop at the store to get stuff for these guys?" I asked him. They have the best selection." I told him,looking at the kittens again. As he pulled into the parking lot of PetSmart,I found my two-hundred. Actually,I had one-thousand-two-hundred-fifty,but I guessed I would only have to spend two-hundred. I had to sell all of my belongings that weren't necessary,so I had money from that. I also had extra money that was in my parent's will to be given to me,but that wasn't for spending. I tucked my mom's floral wallet under my arm as I put the kittens on the seat. "Be quick," The uber driver said to me. "I will," I told him. "Can you watch the kittens?" I told him. I did not want to bring them in the store. "No," He said. I looked at the kittens,then bent to pick them up again. "Okay" I told him bitterly. I turned and closed the door with my foot,because the kittens were too heavy to hold in one arm. When I got into the store,I got puzzled looks. It is pretty strange to be juggling three kittens in a bright purple jacket,as well as having a flower wallet tucked under your arm (especially since I was only 13). I picked up a basket,and gently set them in it. Then,I got a cart and put the basket in the corner,under the part where you can put a baby. I went to the food section first,picking out 2 cans of kitten food. I sailed to the bed aisle,careful to go slow so the kittens could rest for a few more minutes. I found a bed that would fit in the basket perfectly. I carefully picked them up and put them in the baby part,and stuffed the bed where they were. And I put them back. Once I had completed my shopping trip,I had actually spent almost three-hundred dollars on them. It's okay,though,because they looked happy to have been fed and they looked cozy in their new bed. Very expensive for not a great job. The space was cute but the way the manicure station is set up was not comfortable and a little crowded. The staff was very nice but quality of work was lacking. I had my nails painted Saturday and they started to chip Monday. My friend was visiting from out of town and she was also not impressed with her nail tach. They left huge unpainted spaces between her nail and cuticle bed. I took a quick tour of the space and I noticed the area where they do pedicures does not have massage chairs. I would not get a pedicure here for that reason alone. Positives are that we were able to schedule through yelp and they were able to accommodate us that day. I recently moved downtown and found this cute little salon within walking distance. I've been twice now and I love it. The staff is all so friendly and welcoming, and they really go out of their way to make sure you're happy with your nails. They also offer waxing services, but I haven't tried that yet. It's very clean and "social-distance" friendly, too. They have dirty pens separated from clean ones, have everyone sign in as soon as they arrive, then wash hands before choosing any colors or starting any service. I had a hard time deciding between a 3 and 4. I made an appointment for noon on a Friday for a gel polish and a basic pedi because I was on a tight timeline. I arrived exactly on time and was seated in the chair pretty promptly. At least 15 minutes went by until someone came over to get started. I was starting to get a little frustrated because of my limited timeline and told the guy that I probably wouldn't have time to get a gel polish after all. He was a apologetic and called another tech over to do my mani while I was in the pedicure chair. This worked out perfectly and she was very tactful about the process given the circumstances of not being at a table. I was impressed with this service and happy with how the situation recovered. I few things I did notice were that when I was seated in the chair no one came over to check on water temperature. This is something that I typically like to adjust. The receptionist sat me in the chair, asked if I wanted a drink then walked off. The thing that creates the jets in the bowl also fell off during my 15 minute wait so my feet just sat in the still water for the rest of the time. I could have bothered the other tech but her back was to me giving someone else a pedicure at the time. For the service itself - I've had a lot of pedicures in my life and even the some of the most basic ones have included a callus rub on my heels. this wasn't provided in their basic pedi. He did do a sugar rub that felt awesome though. Its been a few days now and the polish at the edge of my toe is starting to scrape off a little. This is a little frustrating. Overall, I will be back here because the place is pretty nice and I felt like it was clean as well. The location is perfect if you want to grab lunch or drinks afterward and the upscale feel is also fun. I could see parking being an issue during busy times though. read more
