I used to love getting my nails done here. I recently went to another salon to get acrylics. I came back to Secret to get the acrylics removed. I was expecting them to soak them off, instead they painfully pried them off. I didn't think to mention anything about keeping the length because I was just asking for the removal. Really bad service. I'm a traveling nurse and this place should just be ashamed. I got a mani/ pedi, the pedi was fine but for the manicure she cut up 2 of my cuticles to the point that they were bleeding. When she was done you could still see the dried blood in my cuticles between the paint and the skin. I asked her to clean it and she acted like she didn't understand even though she spoke English just fine during my pedi. The manager on duty did not fix the issue or give me a discount. As someone who's been around the whole US do yourself a big favor and go some place that will at least right their wrongs to make sure you leave happy! read more

Been coming here for a very long time and after my last visit, will not be returning. I make an appointment every time, never a walk in, and I'm tired of being rushed out the door. Mimi does great work but this last appointment with her was a big disappointment. I do not ask for anything complicated, usually just a small design if i ask for a design at all. I showed her a pic of what I wanted (one color for all nails, with a couple small strawberries on one finger for each hand). She said okay and picked out the color for me. After applying the color, she tells me she doesn't have time for the design and that I need to tell Melissa I want a design when making an appointment. I was told her next appointment was waiting. What's the point of making an appointment if you're just going to rush the customer out and prioritize the next appointment? She had not been working on my nails for more than 20minutes when she told me this - it isn't like I was sitting there for a long time. It's not okay to say yes, I can do this and then wait until the color is applied to tell the customer you can't do it and that their next customer is waiting (making me feel like a huge jerk). Then, as if I wasn't hurt enough by that, she tells me how she never gets a break and never has time to even eat and on and on, making me feel even worse. That isn't my fault and being guilted so I don't complain about being rushed out the door isn't okay. I wouldn't have gotten this color on its own without the design, and now I'm out over $100 and stuck with hideous colored nails. I walked out and cried in my car. I'm so beyond upset and disappointed. I've been a customer for years, never ever complained or had issues, have always tipped very well, and have always made an appointment so that I know I have a time slot. I won't be returning and will no longer recommend Secret to friends and family. read more

This place is a robbery! I popped in here and wrote my name on the list for a basic manicure. They gave patrons who entered after me priority all because they were getting gel wraps and spa pedicures etc. (more expensive services). Also I saw that there is a surcharge for credit cards however the surcharge they put on your credit card is above the legal limit allowed by the state of Pennsylvania. After hearing the lady who was running credit cards say "$4 extra, $5 extra, $6 extra" etc. I ran the math on my phone for the services and they where charging well over their surcharge percentage listed on the sign. Most people didn't even notice because they were on their phone or they seemed to shy to ask. I immediately got up and walked out. Do not come here unless you want your money stolen! read more

Came here to get my nails done for a wedding. I was in from out of town. I paid $30 for a gel manicure and within 3 days my nails were completely peeling off, I don't mean chipping, I mean all of the polish came off at once lifted right off the nail one by one. My cuticles also started peeling horribly after the appt. I called the salon and was rudely told if I cant come in there's nothing they can do. I explained I payed for a gel manicure which is supposed to last 2-3 weeks, this lasted 3 days. I did not want to be charged for services that clearly were not done well. She told me next time you're in town we will fix your nails. I live in Los Angeles...I was in town for a wedding and do not plan on returning. It is unprofessional to not back your services. Had a reservation for a day that it was really busy but I still had to wait. They had us switch to different nail techs throughout the process. I was getting acrylics and they cut my fingers in several places and also left leftover acrylic under the tips of my nails so it was really annoying and you could tell it was poorly done. Also they dont tell you how long to let them dry so I was there much longer than necessary. The nails looked fine and lasted but there are better places in the lehigh valley. read more

secret nails is by far the worst place on the face of planet earth that i have ever gotten my nails done at. Over time, 9/10 trips there have been a disaster. Whenever I go, i always schedule an appointment, yet i always end up waiting a half hour+. The last time i went, my appointment started over half an hour late as usual. When my nails were being done, the person was rude and let the good lord strike me dead, they PURPOSELY did my nails so they would break. In all my years of getting nails done, i have broken one SINGLE nail. with the set they put on this time, almost every nail broke within a week, and the nails we're literally squishy when they came off like they were made with elmers glue. when i proceeded to pay, they attempted to charge me more then i have ever paid there before, i think not. against my better judgement, and a miserable amount of fails attempts there, i will never, ever, ever, give a single penny to this company ever again, id rather wear stick on nails from walmart. read more

If i could give this a negative star, I would. Went in april 10th to get my nails done. The guy, Jimmy rushed with my nails. Took him about 30 to maybe 45 minutes. With all my acrylic nail experiences, they will take up to a little over an hour when theyre done right. All mine have lasted for a month or even longer. well, i was having a very bad day, so my friend showed me this place so i figured it would've been nice. we had an appointment at 415 but didn't even get in until 500. i had a refill and a pedicure. they didn't know i was vietnamese so i kept quiet. when getting a pedicure, i observed and didn't get a full pedicure. i did not get my feet rubbed and massage as i would want. i asked the person if i was going to get a massage and he said he did, and i said no you only rubbed my leg for like 2 secs and then he walked away. i didn't want to act out of character and ignored it. so then i got my nails done, i guess he didn't want to do my nails because i was "cocky" for asking him for a massage. so then his coworker did my nails and he was sitting beside her doing someone elses. this lady name mimi was doing my nails, and was just speaking in vietnamese calling me crazy for even wanting a refill when my nails are fine. ignored it. she then cut me and i bled and laughed and told her coworker friend that she cut me on purpose because i was cocky to him. so i pulled my hand away and spoke in vietnamese. i told her if you didn't want to do my nails just say that. she did not apologized. the manager also did not apologized but just laughed it out. this was a very bad experience after a long day at work. i do not recommend this place to anyone. i don't know how they can hire such unprofessional people. read more

I went there for lcn gel nails and a pedicure. The lcn nails are advertised as being $45 and the pedicure was only supposed to be $25 equaling $70 in total but somehow I walked out of there paying them $90 for a shotty pedicure that was boogered up by the time I got to my car and a painful lcn gel experience. I'm more than positive they didn't know what they were doing, because she just kept looking at her boss and my fingers felt like they were going to burn off when I put them under the UV light. Needless to say I left there more than dissatisfied and 3 days later the nails already fell off. They try to get you with complimentary wine but maybe that's where that extra $20 I was charged went. read more
