I love coming in to Secret Nails for pedicures. They have a great deluxe for $35 that includes mask, hot stones and scrubs -- all the things that make you feel incredibly pampered. I will say, this place gets busy and it's not often they turn down walk-ins, so keep that in mind. All the ladies are very nice and they will do their very best to give you exactly what you ask for. I do not get manicures/acrylics here anymore, but I know they do good work. I really just love painting my own hands. read more

I would say the people are very lovely here. But the quality doesn't match the price. The lady makes both of my big toes bleed and didn't clean them up so there is dried blood on the corners of my toe nails. I asked for French tips with gel polish but the lady didn't curve out the arch so they are thick. They are really ugly. Also got my nails done. Been going to Secret Nails since Kim bought the salon 14 years ago. They do deliciously relaxing pedicures, and are expert with acrylic and gel nails, nail art, also do waxing and are certified to do those permanent eyebrows. Very customer oriented and Kim is a dear. All her staff do a good job, fair prices though they had to raise their very low pricing recently due to inflationary costs after many years. Still reasonable! They invest in upgraded pedicure chairs and paint regularly, no small things, they take pride. Ask for the extra special pedicure where they add special scented salts of your choice. They cater to all, from students to the elderly, and men who come for mani-pedis. Don't hesitate, they treat you like kings, though you may have a wait if you come as a walk-in. read more

I asked for a standard pedi and for sure thought they were giving me the deluxe when they massage my legs with hot stones and scrubbed my feet with beady lotion, and expected an up charge but that's just the standard for their mani/pedi combo. Moving back to the Westside left me with the dauntingtask of finding and settling into a new salon. I was happy to find this little gem located just a couple of minutes down the road and, trusting the reviews of my fellow Yelpers, I decided to give it a try and was very happy with the outcome. I went in to get a fill on my acrylic nails and was greeted and served right away. I made an appointment and they had a chair waiting for me, and even brought color samples to my seat instead of making me go to the wall to pick them out myself. I was so pleasantly surprised with the attention to detail these ladies had. The woman who did my fill filed everything until it was completely smooth and shaped perfectly. I am a little OCD, and when I have nails that are slightly different lengths on each hand it bothers me so much. I have to stare at them every day, so I want them to look good! These ladies did a great job, and I even got a lotion hand massage when my paint was dried, an addition that most salons I've been to do not do! I had gotten in with an appointment and everything went well, service was great and the ladies were nice. It was until after I left, I noticed some inconsistencies from other nail places I've gone to. I get fake nails because mine are too short to use my real ones. My left pinky is a little crooked unlike my right one, same with my right middle finger only that one is not as bad. The bottoms of the nails are white which causes me to be able to see through them and it's streaky, some spots aren't covered in polish. read more

Someone I knew recommend this place so it was my first time going. This was an awful experience. I asked for a simple design that was literally white curvy lines they said they couldn't and then they spoke to each other and then she said she could. I stopped her after one nail and said I would just take what I have because I didn't like what she was doing. She argued and pretended she didn't know what I was saying and kept going and I told her to stop again. She did and then I get up front snd she charges me $45 which is disgusting. I went to get shellac & 3 days later it's already chipping and looks see through/doesn't look like shellac and they didn't shape my nails how I asked them to. Very disappointed with them as my nails with shellac usually last 2-3 weeks and this hasn't even lasted 5 days. read more

Best pedicure I've had by far! Ann was awesome! She took her time, listened to me about my ingrown toenail and took care of it without hurrying my foot. this is the worst! the absolute worst place i have ever gone in my entire life. i went to get my acrylic nails removed, i had a previous cut on my finger due to rope burn, i told kim ( the lady who did it) would not listen to me when i told her to foil that finger. she said that she would get me a bandaid, i told her that a band aide was not going to work. she forcefully put the bandaid on finger and dunked my open wounded finger into the acetone, and forcefully kept it in the acetone, as i am sitting there struggling to move my finger out of the acetone because it hurt. she then proceeded to finally after 5 minutes let go of my finger and let it out of the acetone and then proceeded to just rip my entire nail off, did not drill it how they are supposed to. nothing. i now have a infection in my finger, and my finger feels like it is burning, if you are going to treat your customers like crap you shouldn't even be working. another thing, she said it would take half of an hour to get it done, i had a appointment, she left me to sit there not having a single clue, to attend to 3 walk in pedi's before she came back to get my nails off. it was the worst experience of my life and i am so disappointed, there will be further actions because i am so beyond upset. thanks for ruining my day and injuring my finger!!! read more
