We were looking for a company to install a home security system recently. After being persuaded by stellar reviews on the Guardian Security website, we called and scheduled a consultation appointment. The day before the scheduled appointment, we received a call asking us to reschedule. We did and when the company representative finally arrived to our home we discussed what we felt we needed. After a brief discussion we agreed on a plan and the representative promised to email us with a quote within the week. We waited two weeks and then called to check on the promised quote. Voicemail was left and another two weeks passed with no email. We tried to speak to the representative three times total and never received a response. Extremely disappointing. What a joke this company is! Look elsewhere.

Been a customer there for years because they were located conveniently. They've always been a bit…read morerude but I overlooked it. Today I was waiting for a parking space to shop next door and then swing by there to copy a key. Since I was shopping elsewhere I didn't want to park in their lot. While I was waiting for a car to pull out of the street door, my bumper was hanging a foot or so into their driveway. No cars were trying to get in. Nobody was being inconvenienced but one of their employees, who was backing out of a spot in their lot decided to get out of his car and tell me to move. He said "you can't park there" to which I replied that I wasn't parked, I was waiting for a guy that was going to pull out. He then tried to incorrectly define for me what "parked" meant and I told him I wasn't harming anyone and I'd be gone shortly. Then he pulled the classic passive-aggressive BS that "customer service" people go to when they know they are wrong: "Ok sir we'll try to have a nicer say...you seem to be really angry" The irony of course is that the guy saying this got out of his car to get mad at me for blocking 1/10th of his driveway. Last straw for these guys. Lots of other locksmiths around that aren't angry and aggressive.

Well, maybe a few more than a few. The truck was HUGE and they welcomed everyone through the line. They guys were efficient and funny. Don't be shy, they are used to handling LOTS of papers and securing them. George and the crew know what they are doing! First, they loaded your papers into giant garbage cans and then on to the truck. They even explained to us how the shredded paper gets recycled onto more usable materials. The company is located on Meador Ave. Although they said if you come to their location it will cost you $45 to shred a full can and $25 for 1/2 can. **inside tip** track them down at any community shredding event, but please send a thank you or doughnuts to the business sponsoring the event as they pay a hefty hourly fee for this service on behalf of their customers and the community.

Today they scattered 10 or more good-sized pieces of trash which then began to blow along the street and down the hillside. Who do they think is going to clean up after them? They're a monopoly, so it's me. Another neighbor said it's their "Double your trash back" policy.
