Sedona Red Rock Coffee is a must if you are a coffee snob! When I visited Sedona we tried a few different places but nothing compared to the coffee we got here. I got an iced caramel macchiato. It was perfect. Not too sweet and I could really taste the espresso. I also got a croissant which was so delicious! It complemented my coffee perfectly. My husband and I are serious about our coffee, and we love this woman-owned cafe and local coffee roaster. It's one of our favorite local spots for our morning cuppa! The coffee is organic and produced using organic practices, and we really appreciate that. My go-to is the medium roast drip coffee, and I drink it as black as the sky on a moonless night. While drinking our coffees we never tire of sitting at the window and taking in the stunning, unbeatable red rock views from this well-placed unassuming cafe located in a walkable strip mall. This place also serves perfect lattes, cold brew (which I also love), and many flavored coffee drink options, which our family members have enjoyed. We buy our coffee beans here and bring them home with us too, so we can also savor more at home. The owner Beth is often working the counter making lattes by herself many mornings. She is super-nice and she creates a nice community and vibe. She's introduced us to other local folks. There is often good conversation going on inside. The two staff on duty during our visit were friendly and engaging. They got our orders correct and completed quickly. They also actively listened to me as I expressed my deep appreciation for their most excellent double espresso. My spouse and I also ate their vegan/gf muffin and standard organic blueberry muffin - Both food items were incredible, so tasty and not too sweet. The atmosphere was busy but not too noisy and we struck up a delightful conversation with one of Sedona's locals. It was an overall fantastic and unexpected experience (to be honest, it was the closest place to grab a bite on my GPS). I try to limit my souvenirs when I'm in a new place, because I can go overboard. I was so impressed with all aspects of Sedona Coffee House, that I chose them for my souvenirs from AZ - one of their wonderful looking SCH t-shirts and a sticker for my water bottle. Absolutely delightful coffee! I picked up their French roast for the house and a cold brew mocha for myself. The cold brew is steeped with the cocoa so it's chocolatey without sugary and perfect if you're watching your sugar intake. The staff are delightful and happy to explain their coffee - all roasted by the owner. There's also some little gifts - jewelry and such - available to purchase. There are some seats inside and they do have food but get there early as it's a "when we're out we're out" thing. read more

I came in this morning with my bf and we both got some lattes. I was on the phone and didn't have the chance to try it till I had just walked out the door. As someone who's more of a creamer coffee lover than a straight black coffee lover I wasn't the most satisfied. (This was not on the coffee shop - I didn't realize I had asked for almond milk which is way thinner of a milk and not what you want if you want it more creamier) I went back in and asked if I could just put some sweetener in and Layla and Beth were SOO SOO kind. They remade the entire drink for me so it was what I liked. Even offering different alternatives to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. I was visiting Sedona. I was raised by an Italian immigrant father who was very particular about his espresso. I inherited his standards. Simply put, the espresso here is excellent. And reasonably priced (a rarity for Sedona). The owner is kind and caring and clearly knows what she is doing. I have ordered espresso in many cafes. Most of the time, the espresso is not good: Burnt or not hot enough or a giant amount, etc. This place knows how to make espresso. I didn't have any other drinks there (I went there 3 days in a row during my stay), but if the espresso is this good, I suspect the other drinks are as well. read more
